While my vehicle was there, something--probably a rat--chewed through a wire in the engine. This has caused a warning light to appear on my dashboard display. Carlot told me their mechanic noticed the problem. I pointed out to them that the wire worked when I brought in the vehicle, and the warning light was not on, but they did not offer to repair it and did not take responsibility for it. Now I've got to figure out how to repair this severed wire and sensor. Not impressed.

This was the first time I've had to get bodywork done on my car (thanks to a hit and run while I was at work). I was so devastated since I take a lot of pride in the appearance of my car. Insurance contacted Autocrafters for me, who called me first thing the day after the accident. Took in the car and left it that day! A few days later I started getting text updates on the repair, first just saying they started the work. A couple days after that I got a text saying exactly what they were doing and what was next. A couple days after that I got the call it was ready! A week and a half from discovering the damage to having the car back and looking brand new. The staff were extremely friendly and made what was a highly unpleasant circumstance a wonderful, painless experience. They even took down my car's name for their file and referred to it by its name when they called me. It's little things like that which make me confident the work will be good, because of the obvious respect of my property. It looks amazing. I've actually never seen it look so good, got it used with mild damage to these panels that I didn't catch at the time of purchase. Seeing the bumper totally scrape free and the fender bend free is weird to get used to! The paint is blended very well, and they went the extra mile by buffing my undamaged (though severely rock chipped) hood and clear coating it.
