Sometimes I wonder what the big secret is in that room. We may never know. I recommended always reserve the vehicle and make sure you get the "Out the door" price. I called to find out why the car was not there. They told me the car was having some work completed on it. Seriously? Ok, so that in itself was a deal breaker. But, the car having a rebuilt title suffered some damage. I asked for a copy of the report that shows the work on a left rear wheel which was significantly damaged in a accident. I was told they did not have the report or receipt of work having been done. I was told that they are trustworthy and they would not sell cars if they did not have the cars repaired to specs. What? I should just take your word for it? Keep in mind that they are an auto seller on 82nd ave which is known for shady business for cars. Pretty weak. That in itself was also not a deal breaker...but all thing combined, I said I am out. Pre inspection cost was higher specifically because of auto sellers on 82nd ave. Buy at your own risk. I did my research on cars, saw the damage, was willing to risk the damage IF the car was repaired properly. No proof, no purchase.

Their price is very competitive, they don't add any extra dealer fees, and they're willing to work with you on things matter most to you... whether that be price or services. As mentioned above, I'm not from Oregon, so I had to make a purchasing decision sight unseen. To help with that decision, I requested a walk-around video with the engine revving and pictures of the underbody to check for any rust. Phill was quick and sent those to me immediately. He then sent over the paperwork through email - I read through it in detail, was satisfied so I signed and sent it back, then we got on the phone and I put a deposit down through my credit card. The whole process was quick and easy - not once did Phill try to sell me anything extra, we just talked about the car, what I needed from them, and how we can get the deal done... that was it. A few more details - they held onto the car for me for an extra 2 weeks in their lot because I had to find time to fly in to pick it up in person - in exchange, they requested I put a higher deposit which counted towards the purchase price, which was fair and not an issue. Phill also graciously offered to return 50% of the deposit in the event I didn't want the car. The day I picked up the car was just as easy. They had the car on the lot ready to go, I inspected and test drove it, it was every bit as good as it looked in the pictures. I paid the remaining amount, we finalized the paperwork, and I happily drove back home! I'm writing this review about 15 days after I picked up the car and 1K miles later. The car drives like new, I've had no issues - I'm very happy with the purchase price, the car itself, and the whole experience. Thanks Phill and the Kova Team!

I believe most if not all of their vehicles are restored to where they don't look damaged at all. The truck I bought looks perfect! Pricing is considerably lower than retail values. In my case, I purchased a 2021 Ranger XLT that was restored to near perfection at about 23% below retail and that price also included a robust Warranty Plan. After purchasing the Ranger, I took it to Courtesy Ford and they could not tell it was ever damaged! The inspection resulted in perfect status. The only non-issue is that the new bumper it has is not parking sensor capable which this model has as standard. No fault of Konkin and no issue for me. The backup display handles this safety alert just fine. The sales experience with Tim was very personable and easy. I am retired and have purchased many vehicles over the years. This purchase is in the top for being a great experience. Very happy with Konkin Auto Group! I highly recommend Konkin Group for an honest, fair buying experience!

He took the time to REALLY answer my questions in a way that I could understand, and didn't try to push cars on me that were out of my price range. He was an excellent listener and ended up bringing out a car that day to our house for my hubby and me to test drive. Let me pause for a moment to say just how smart this business model is - I mean, with 2 kids under 4 years old, it's a PITA to get to a dealership and take turns test driving a car and then waiting around for hours to purchase the car while the kids go cray cray. Central Sales is part of Ron Tonkin (I think...), so they have a huge inventory of cars to pull from, which they bring to you to test drive, and then they arrange all the financing for you to find the lowest APR, and then bring the paperwork to you when they deliver the car. It takes about 10 minutes to sign everything. All for no extra fee. Brilliant. Other dealerships should take note. But what made everything so super was the truly no-pressure attitude of Roy (and I imagine everyone else he works with). He was super nice and completely understanding when I told him that we were also test-driving a car from another dealership later that day. He reiterated that he just wanted to make sure that we got into the right car for us. And I believed him! We ended up doing the whole take-the-kids-to-the-dealership-and-wait-an-excrutiatingly-long-time-to-purchase-a-vehicle thing. He found the car we were interested in and we took it for a test drive. It seemed to be perfect and decided to get it. Unfortunately, it took 3+ hours just to get through the paperwork. We negotiated the price, shook hands and signed on the X. Once he came back with the paperwork, he also came back with a mechanical disclosure. He proceeded to tell us all the problems with the car. The sway bars and bushings needed to be replaced. The water pump may have issues since thier mechanics noticed water spots around the water pump. What? We are spending over 16k for a car and NOW they disclose the problems? The salesman told us they just started doing things differently now. Well..that doesn't seem fair. We agreed on a price. I signed papers. We couldn't back out now. Rush hour was hitting and I wanted to get home ASAP. We ended up getting the car anyway and drove home. The car drove home fine. However, we have yet to fix the problems. Very disappointed with that process.
