So he followed us to our car, used his phneomatic tool to remove the lugs, took off the flat, and put on the spare. Apparently needs new calipers. Another $800. No choice - do it. Caliper bolts not torqued properly. One fell out on the I-90 off ramp. Bang, bang, bang. Scary. They fixed it, but that was overall an expensive job to have it end in a brake failure. 1 star. We already knew was there, and we didn't ask them to do and then when I called to question the manager about it. he lied to me and told him my husband spoke with him, but my husband knew that he had spoke with an associate and not the manager and so when I called him, I am back to tell him he lied to me then he started to change his tune. A woman, who I believe is the parts counter customer service representative (the only woman employed there, I believe), told my son they would pay us $250 per vehicle for a total of $500. Later, my son called again to arrange for Erickson to pick up the cars, and the man who answered the phone told him that they would only pay $225 per vehicle. When my son told the man that the earlier quote was $250 per car, he repeated that they would only pay $225 per car. We decided to call other salvage yards, and got a number of other quotes. My son called Erickson one more time to see if he could talk to the woman who quoted $250 per car, which was one of the higher quotes. The parts counter woman answered the phone and instead of honoring her previous quote she gave a third quote -- this time $225 for one vehicle and $200 for the second. I got on the phone and asked why they gave three different quotes within a few hours for the same service removing the same vehicles. The woman told me the price of scrap metal had dropped during the day (January 19, 2015). However, I am quite sure scrap metal prices do not change twice in one day, and I'm fairly confident that scrap metal prices didn't change at all the day we called, since it was Martin Luther King Day. I asked for the business owner's phone number, and the parts counter woman told me she would not give me the number. I asked for the number again, and she refused again to give me the phone number. I told her I would file a BBB complaint, and she told me to go ahead and then slammed the phone down. I filed the complaint, and posted here as well. Schedule a alignment for noon on Saturday 5/16/26. Dropped the car off at around 9:30 in the…read moremorning. Called the store around 2:40 pm to see the status of the car and was told that they were just getting it on. When I questioned that, the person said that they had alignment rack problems and would call when it was completed. I called back around 5:30 pm since I hadn't heard anything and that person said that it was being worked on. I again explained that my car was there since 9:30 am and had an appointment at noon. His explaination was that there was a lot of cars in for an alignment . I said, again, I had an appointment at noon and it should have not taken this long. He put me on hold and came back and told me that it was finishing up. He again said that there was a lot of people in for alignments, which I again told him that I had an 12:00 appointment and I should have been given that time slot. I told him what the other person said about the rack and he had no idea of it. Got the emailed invoice the next day and it showed that I picket up the car at 5:44 pm but now when I look at the invoice, all it shows it that I dropped off the car at 9:38 and and "Due at 1:00 pm". That tells me that the agliment "should" have taken an hour but I do understand that the techs do run into issues but I was never contacted saying the the alignment rack was down, they were behind or any other reason for my car to get done around 5:30 pm
