I recently visited Autofair Subaru in Haverhill to look at a certified pre-owned vehicle that was listed online for $29,590. After test driving the car and feeling confident in the purchase, I proceeded to fill out and sign the necessary paperwork with the finance department, believing everything was in order. However, I was later asked to sign a new set of documents with the finance manager, many of which appeared to be the same as those I had already signed. I mentioned this to the finance manager and also pointed out that the vehicle price listed on the new paperwork was higher than the amount on the original purchase agreement. When I questioned the discrepancy, he dismissed it as being related to my trade-in, since I am currently upside down on my existing vehicle. Trusting the process, I went ahead and signed the revised documents. Before submitting the paperwork to my credit union, I asked my boyfriend to review everything. We discovered that the price of the vehicle had been increased from the original $29,590 to $31,950--a $2,360 markup. To make matters worse, the online listing had been changed after the fact to $31,990, making it appear as though I was receiving a small discount. ( I have screen shots of the original price alongside the VIN number all timestamped from when I went to the dealership and the change of price after I signed the documents.) When we called to inquire about the changes, we were given conflicting explanations. Eventually, after speaking with the general manager, we were told that $4,000 had been added to the vehicle price to make the financing offer "look better to the bank." This explanation was deeply concerning, especially given that this information was never disclosed during any part of the process. I ultimately chose not to proceed with the purchase. As a customer, I felt misled and taken advantage of--particularly as a woman navigating a challenging financial situation. What a horrible experience buying a used ford. First doug said what a great deal he gave me on a trade in for a bit under 6k and posted said vehicle for a nit under 12 k 100 percent mark up!! Great deal right!! Then i had issues and sales refused to fix it due to they barely made money on sale. Which i find hard to believe after seeing the 100 percent mark up on my car. Service dept Employee Amber called to say the open recall for air bag issue was already addressed 4 years ago when I scheduled visit . I told her it had not been fixed ... clearly bc I was looking at the light on my dashboard . Amber continued to argue with me and said Yep I'm looking right at it and I said Amber, I'm not going to argue with you, but even if you did fix it , you didn't do it right so I need it to be fixed. she got mad and said fine. We'll see you then and hung up on me. She was on speakerphone and my kids said why was that woman so rude to you! I have had the worst experiences at this location from then having shady sales practices recommending things that you don't need just so they can make money and rude employees. I will never go here again after this. I'm in the market for a new Subaru in December and another dealership will get my business. If you'rsupposedly fixed an open recall in the same issue is again appearing You should acknowledge you may be responsible for fixing it and not arguing with me.. Service supervisor Joe called me back never apologized about the treatment I received until I said to him you know what you haven't even apologized for what Amber treated me like he proceeds to tell me that they will have to charge me 169.95 just to see if it is the recall issue . If you value your time, look elsewhere. I made an appointment to drive and buy a car. I got there early, only to have someone else driving and buying the car in front of me. (I was there before they opened.) Why am I wasting my time? They also had a guy working the phone, pretending to be an actual salesperson. He's the one that double booked the showing and he also made some pricing commitments that I strongly doubt would've been adhered to. I'm giving it two stars because the actual salesman seemed like a decent guy and it was not at all his fault. But he's a short-timer there and I doubt he'll be there for long having to deal with this kind of nonsense. read more

I have been happily bringing my Forester to this dealership for oil changes, tire rotations, and state inspections for several years (reside north of Boston). Recently it was time for one set of brakes and they provided that service too. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and have a range of convenient service hours. Easy to book an appointment on line. Typically Lita is the service rep that coordinates my service requests (and patiently answers my questions). A few things came up on their multi point inspections over the years that were covered under my warranty and they were addressed timely. I find the service department great to work with and when recommendations arise Lita will explain them, prioritize them, and of course provide an estimate. I have never felt pressured to agree to a service I was not anticipating. I have not purchased a car from Auto Fair yet. Its important to note that years ago (10 years maybe??) when Auto Fair purchased Singer Subaru (Plaistow) and eventually moved to this location there were a few "bad eggs" in the service dept that I encountered. Two people were a bit aggressive in pushing certain repairs, unique personalities, etc...and their employment did not last long at Auto Fair Haverhill. I am glad I stayed the course and have been happy for years working with the service team. read more

My daughter was looking for a car here and had an absolutely shocking and ridiculous experience with one of their product people, Cliff Lawrence. I recommend staying away from him. Kid goes in and is excited about a car, is set to buy and asks me for my opinion. We both go over the reality of the car (nice but 120k+ miles on a model known for transmission issues) and decide its not worth the $$. She had put a deposit and decides to back out (three days before the signing). The thing is, this Cliff guy wasn't involved in the final sale, she contacted the people in sales and finance and was all squared away once she told them she was out. That NIGHT she gets a call from Cliff and ignores it. He leaves a voicemail about how much of a drag it is that his "birthday weekend is ruined" (not sure why thats relevant) and how "its such a loss" yada yada. Vaguely coercive. She's feeling weird so she doesnt call back and a bit after that, she gets a text from him- the guy's being aggressive, confrontational as a grown guy over text to a young woman. He must have gotten flack from his people for the lack of sale but....why take that up with my kid after the fact? She was pretty freaked out because due to COVID he'd dropped the car off at our house for a test drive- so here she's thinking...this guy is being aggressive over text and has my address....really spooked her. After over 45 minutes of waits/holds/transfers and reluctance by Zurich customer service to honor the warranty over the simple clerical issue, Joe took care of me regarding the deductible. It was all good until we sat to talk numbers. I met with Kim . She was nice. I'm not sure if she was nervous or maybe if she is unfamiliar with the vehicles. But she seemed nervous throughout the whole test drive. Stuttered a bit at times, but she was very pleasant. This review is not about Kim or the manager or finance. It's simply to review the "trick they use to get people in" The price listed online was $30,186. The condition was to trade in a vehicle 2005 or newer. THAT IS THE ONLY CONDITIONED LISTED. So, technically this is correct. However, it's not really true . I guess this is what's going on, or at least this is how I perceived it . Since the vehicle you are trading in is used, they knock off $3500 right off the bat. But instead of subtracting it from the trade in value. They instead add it to the purchase price. After doing that, they appraise the vehicle, then use whatever value they get as a trade in. I did not get my vehicle appraised, and tbh, after this little trick they tried to pull. I wouldn't want too. Just be up front about the price. None of this bs of "lowest price possible" I may go back and purchase the car since I did like it. But I'm dissapointed in the tactic they used. Immediately the price they had was more than listed on cars.com They claimed that cars.com is a third party and they aren't responsible for differences. So I passed. They caved. Then they brought out the paperwork and the final price was $3,000 more including fees, part of which was "destination" as if they were paying for transport from Japan or the Carolina's or wherever Subarus are assembled, and wasn't just traded in easily to them since it was a used vehicle. The destination charge on a used vehicle was more than the brand new STi in their showroom. At this point I didn't want the car at all, I was so turned off. The salesman played the "let me talk to my manager" game... ... first of all, the manager desk is so close to the salesman tables I could hear all their conversations. The ones about my sale, and then complaining and making fun of other customers. Way to be oblivious guys! Some manager came to the salesman desk and waived one fee after another, but acting bothered by it. They wouldn't let me leave without the whining from the sales manager and then reluctantly dropping the absurd and unnecessary fees, so I bought. During the purchase the salesman told me I had to pay $100 for Starlink. I used a card, then, while carpooling with a bored coworker, they pressed the starlink button and it said it wasn't activated. I contacted my salesman to ask why the service I already paid for wasn't activated, and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I then came here and left a negative review, for which the salesman emailed me and claimed "I only placed it over the $100 Starlink fee", which as you can tell from the rest of the review was just the icing on the cake. A story sad but true. Half-way home on a 220-mile drive, and every light on our 2017 Subaru Outback comes on, lights like a video game, out of nowhere. My wife tells me where she is and we find out that Autofair Subaru in Haverhill is only 5 miles away. As she drives to the dealership I called-ahead and they put her in the maintenance bay right away. By the time I got there myself, the service rep Ryan came out with a list of items that totaled $7,500. Although the car has over 100,000 miles on it, I know that with its impeccable maintenance that it isn't true. There's nothing on his list about what we need to do to just correct the problem and get out (very clever). Upon probing further, we find out that for a $1,100 charge, we can get out. It's called a "solvent flush of the oil system" and replacement of 2 valves and one sensor. It involved 2 oil+ filter changes. I never heard of this, but he said there is a repair protocol from Subaru on this, and he agreed to send me the service as recommended by Subaru. 2 weeks later I am still waiting for this - Hmmmm, very suspect. Now imagine how a customer is supposed to experience the next thing that happened! While waiting for our "suspect" service for $1,100, a guy comes and offers us a cash offer for $8,000 for our car and no charge for the service being performed now. We said we weren't interested. I look up the conservative KBB Trade-in value for our car by VIN number and just to be safe I put in "Good" condition. Value = $10,989 - $12,258. Gee, what a great offer from Autofair. Still, if someone is faced with a (bogus) $7,500 repair bill, it may look great! When we finally got home, I made an appointment with my trusted mechanic to compare the rest of the $7,500 list with what actually needs repair and here's what he found: (1) transmission leak ($2,500), nope. (2) Bearing replacement on both back wheels ($1,500), nope. (3) Lateral control arm bushings cracked, teared and separated ($900), nope. (4) Ball Joint replacement right front ($650), nope. (5) My personal favorite - Left front directional bulb replacement ($24), nope. (6) Front brakes and rotors ($560), YES, service performed by my mechanic (rotors still good, just pads) and it cost me ($250). Total bogus work quoted by Autofair Subaru = $5,574. If you include the whole oil system flush we had to get done (remember no formal Subaru procedure for this could be provided to us), it is $6,654 in bogus work. Bottom line? Unabashed fraudsters, unremorseful thieves, opportunistic flim-flam men. Is this what happens at the other Autofair dealers or just this one? Is this more of a crime syndicate or a car dealership? Now I know why at 2 PM on a Tuesday they got us in right away. No one wants service there! Yeah, no business from me at any Autofair-associated dealer - ever. Be informed. And be careful! read more

She knows people and when she sensed I wasn't sure of my original color choice at signing for a grey one on the lot that I would have taken right then and there, she said "Let's take a walk out back and look at the car colors again on a couple of Foresters" and she was right, I chose my original color, Autumn Green which was a highly sought after color due in a week. We were there at 11:14, at 11:22 I got a call from someone to tell me that 1 car was in the shop and they could not get it out, 1 car was sold (in the dead of night) and 1 car - at that point I cut the kid off and thanked him for wasting my time. THE OLD BAIT AND SWITCH. Classic. I expect it when car shopping but jeesh it still pisses me off to think how hard they leaned into this one! I work to avoid this when car shopping and the minute they screw me I walk out and do this It's too easy to tell the world how much you suck. Autofair Subaru of Haverhill, MA is engaging in unfair, deceptive, and abusive acts of business through its sales tactics, pricing techniques, and sales culture of the dealership. Sales personnel are taught to pressure the customer into providing personal information in order to test-drive a vehicle including full legal name, current address, previous address, place of employment, years of employment, salary, and social security number. Following the test-drive, a sales personnel and a manager aggressively hassle the customer into providing a desired monthly payment in order to discuss payment terms, interest rate, and car price. When I visited this dealership, I walked in with the expectation to exclusively test-drive a Forrester. A new sales personnel (less than one month experience) and a manager, Matthew Curran, sat down and attempted to get me to sign a paper stating I "agreed to the purchase terms" without verbally telling me I would be agreeing to purchase a car. Curran berated my intelligence, lied to me about the calculations he was running behind the desk to manipulate the term and interest rate to make it look like I could afford the car, and repeatedly asked if I could find a "better price". I informed the sales personnel and the manager several times that I had no intention of buying a car that day and that I would consider the "offer". Will never go back there again! I had a 10 am appointment to test drive a car and knew by 10:30 I wanted it. I told them I had pre-approval from my bank already, and they said "Oh, we work with that bank" and proceeded to run a credit check and look for other offers for me - of which I did not ask for. They asked what I'd like my monthly payments to be and then I was told to wait. FOR THREE HOURS. It wasn't until my best friend said let's go sit in my car that they decided they were now free to talk to me in finance. What happened then was a meeting in which someone spoke very fast and drew pictures for me on what I was getting by purchasing the car. But no, no. It wasn't what I was getting, it was what they planned to charge me in addition to the price of the car, bringing the price from what I had settled on to almost $4,000 more. When we looked at the paperwork and saw all the extra stuff on there - this bs warranty crap that I have car insurance for - we said no, we don't want this. THEY STILL GAVE IT TO US. We looked at the papers later and found they'd just lowered the price of the warranty that we said we did not want. Also, the finance guy yelled at my best friend when she told them I didn't need it. She called the following day (I am weak, people!), and ripped him a new one. He agreed to take off the warranty, and since it was a Sunday and they were registering it for me, I could come in the next day, resign, and get my car. I had a 1 pm. I ended up talking to the GM. He tried another FOUR TIMES to sell me on this warranty and copped an attitude when I said no. He made it sound as though the car was going to die on me and that they were really a piece of junk and I was going to be sorry. My best friend asked him, "Are you saying that you sell a faulty product?" And of course he backpedaled. 2.5 hours later I finally had my keys in my hand. I will never go back there, ever. read more

"BAIT AND SWITCH". STAY AWAY FROM AUTOFAIR SUBARU. SUBARU BUYERS, YOU NEED TO READ THIS. I am writing this review so consumers are aware of the dishonest, unethical and deceptive practices that AutoFair Subaru is engaging in so they do not fall into their trap. I am an educated car buyer. I have negotiated car deals over the internet for many years for friends and family. I have dealt with many honest, reputable dealers who have honored their agreed "out the door" price through my negotiations along with my documented preliminary auto contracts which I always email to dealers showing the "Out the Door Price" prior to agreeing to purchase the vehicle. I have never had an issue with a dealer once we sealed the deal with my negotiations and documentation. However this past week, AutoFair Subaru pulled the "Bait and Switch" and failed to complete the sale of a 2019 WRX for a friend after I negotiated the deal for him on Wednesday, March 27. I began to negotiate with 6 Subaru dealers here in the New England area for a 2019 Subaru WRX Premium. MSRP - $34,021. I narrowed my negotiations to 2 Subaru dealers, one being AutoFair. I dealt with MANNY BATISTA through this process through email and phone. I negotiated the sale price to $28.271. At that point, Manny stated to get the WRX at this price, I would have to have a trade that was a 2005 or newer model vehicle. I told him that would not be a problem. I got the trade information from my friend and called Manny and gave it to him. He then told me I needed to go to their website and "Value the Trade" to get a trade value of approximately what AutoFair would give my friend for the trade. So I did this and his trade value came to $726 for his 2005 Nissan Altima. I called Manny on the phone and informed him on this trade value and asked him if AutoFair would give him this amount given a few dollars more or less after the vehicle was physically inspected by the Pre Owned Manager. He said, "Oh yes, we are pretty close to that number. It could be a little higher or a little less". I Informed Manny not to rip off my friend and low ball his trade when he arrives to do the deal (ie) give him $400. He said, "Oh no, that won't happen". I then stated to Manny over the phone I would type up a preliminary purchase contract with the AGREED UPON NUMBERS and email it to him with the OUT THE DOOR PRICE. I told him the only variance to this would be a few dollars up or down from $726 based on the actual trade value after inspection. He said that was great and agreed to this then asked me to make an appointment for my friend which I did for Saturday, March 30. I emailed Manny on Wednesday, March 27: 1. The preliminary purchase contract showing the agreed OTD price of $29,984. 2. Copy of the trade value of my friends Nissan Altima showing $726. I emailed my friend both of these documents and told him he was all set to purchase this vehicle on Saturday and asked him to take these documents with him to AutoFair Subaru. When he arrived at the dealer on Saturday, March 30th to purchase the vehicle, they told my friend: "We cannot honor this price of $29,984. Your trade needed to equal $3500 or more to qualify. We can do the deal for $33,000" My friend immediately called me. I told him to WALK OUT. As he and his mother were walking to their car, they chased him down in the parking lot and said, "WE CAN DO THE DEAL FOR $30,000 PLUS TTL AND FEES "which came to $31,875. I again told him to "WALK". AutoFair Subaru and MANNY BAUTISTA never disclosed to me on Wednesday that THE TRADE VALUE NEEDED TO BE $3500 OR MORE TO DO THE DEAL. I discussed my friend's trade value on Wednesday over the phone with Manny after getting the value of their website. I emailed Manny the trade value sheet along with my purchase contract showing the Out the Door price of $29,984 on Wednesday. Wouldn't you think after Manny received my email purchase contract showing the price of $29,984 out the door, he would have replied to me by email from Wednesday - Friday stating they could not do the deal because my friend's trade value was $726?????? Of course not. This is the UNETHICAL BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC dealers use on consumers. My friend drove 1.5 hours each way on Saturday to purchase this WRX with his mother. He went to the bank to get a bank check, only to be told he would have to pay $3000 more than the agreed upon price, then be chased down in the parking lot and told they will sell him the car for $1875 more than the agreed upon price when he arrived. Any smart consumer will always WALK AWAY. Shame on you AutoFair Subaru for pulling this dishonest practice after agreeing on the final price. I wasted hours driving to this dealership after having conversations will Jill prior to arriving. I told her I could buy a car ANYWHERE and it was only because of their great low prices and 4K above KBB wholesale prices that I decided to visit this dealership, so they better deliver on their promise. Yet, I was defrauded. I was lured under false pretense despite describing my parameters with Jill, none of which were met when I arrived. I really liked the car I test drove, and was willing to make a deal, but nothing could get me to go back to this dealership. They low-balled me thousands on my trade, and told me KBB was often wrong with their estimates. FUNNY considering I used their "Value the Trade" on their own website to calculate the trade in value, which came in remarkably similar to what KBB showed. Then comes the price of the vehicle I wanted to buy. I was given a price thousands over 'lowest price possible' found on their own website, and my trade in was thousands under what KBB lists for a trade in wholesale value. Mind you, my car is in excellent condition with low miles, and yet they wanted to lowball me and argue that KBB is often wrong with their pricing. Hello, I had the same experience as many. I drove three hours to look at a car. I was quoted a price and when I got there was told, oh that the price for local folks. The doc fees were at $750.00....like really. I have never been treated this way and what a waste of time. I was on my way to work and an 18 wheeler drove me off the the road on 495 I popped my tire and I was able to drive and I pulled into the Subaru dealership. The staff there was so kind and they took my car immediately. They checked for any other damage and changed the tire for me. They only charged me $15. My experience was less than memorable. It was off to a good start when they seemed very willing to help me find the car that met my needs. Thry said there was a Crosstrek available for "just a little more money" because it came with Auto Dimming Exterior Mirror with Approach light. I was told the car had to be picked up in New Hampshire and that it would be at the dealership at 1PM the next day. By 1PM on February 18th, I had not heard back from the dealership, so I called and was told the car was still on its way. They were not able to give me an idea as to how long it would take for it to arrive. In times of cell phones and GPS, it seemed strange that they would not have more specific information from the driver. The car did not arrive to the dealership until after 2PM on that day, and since I was traveling from the south shore, the sales process did not actually start until close to 4PM and would not end until around 7PM. When I got in the car for a test drive, I quickly realized there was no dimming mirror system like I was told. When I asked the sales person about this, he said that this car did not have it. When I mentioned he had said the car had it the day before, I was met with, "I don't remember what I said". This immediately gave me the sense that I had been tricked the day before and offered something that was actually not going to be delivered. After signing a few papers, I was handed a photocopied manual with dark boxes instead of clear pictures that described features of the car, many of which were not actually available in my vehicle (blind spot detection, set seat position with a button, among other things). At around 5:30PM I was told to go to an office to deal with the financing part. At that point, I was told -- by a person other than the salesperson -- that my monthly payment was going to be $75 more than what I had agreed to earlier. Then it was explained to me that this included some coverage plan for 5 or 6 years that would take care of flat tires and the cameras for the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology among other things. When I declined this coverage, I was told "those cameras are expensive." At that point I asked if my car actually had said technology, and I was give a clear "YES," which convinced me to add this extra coverage and charge to my monthly payment. As soon as I got in my car, I noticed it did not have EyeSight technology. Once again, I realized I had been told something that was not true. After I left, I realized I had forgotten my glasses. I called first thing on Friday February 19th to ask for them to be mailed to me. I even offered to pay for shipping since I did not want to drive 80 to 90 minutes to pick them up in Haverhill. I tried calling the sales person's cell phone several times but he never picked up. I sent him an email about it. It took several tries to actually get him to ship the glasses, which I received 3 weeks after my initial call. This showed me that the nice person that I met on Wednesday when I first showed up at Auto Fair was only interested in selling me a car, and there was no interest in providing proper customer service after the deal was closed. I was also told Auto Fair would pay for the inspection sticker, and since I live so far away, I could just submit the receipt and they would mail me the reimbursement check. I sent that receipt several days ago, but still have not gotten said payment. Based on the experience I just described here, I have little to no hope that I will actually receive it. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with the service at Auto Fair. I was told of two accessories that were not actually in the car, and the post-customer service was nonexistent. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. On Saturday afternoon I had set up a test drive for opening on Sunday. I spent hours preparing my own car hoping to trade it in and drove over an hour to get to the dealership. When I arrived, they told me that they had accidentally given the car to someone for an extended test drive on Saturday afternoon despite calling me on Sunday morning to confirm my test drive. They told me to check out their other comparable cars which were much more expensive than the one I had wanted to check out. When I confronted them with my displeasure they could only shrug their shoulders. At best, these guys are grossly incompetent and can't communicate with each other. At worst, they just bait-and-switched on me in hopes to get me to buy another car. What a SCUMMY experience. These guys don't deserve a dime. read more

Can only say that it is very important to avoid this business. Made 2 visits to look at a 2020 Subaru WRX premium with our 25 year old daughter. Her first time buying her own car. 1st visit Rudy the rep refused to let her test drive it saying that his general mgr wouldn't allow as "it only had 7 miles on it. ". Huh??? My husband and daughter left. Within an hour Rudy and others barraged my daughter with emails saying they got permission and please come back. You snooze you lose is my mantra. However a week later I returned with her after she test driven a WRX at another place. It was clear that Rudy was unable to do anything but lie about all aspects of the previous week's visit, my questions (that I knew the answers to already) about the car and it's upgraded model. Cannot imagine what negotiating a price would have been like and I was prepared to be tough. The car clearly was not new, had none of the features Rudy insisted it had (who is the idiot or the blind person here Rudy?) Never sat down with him but called him out on the lying. Not sure what's going on with the odometer on this "new" 2020 car. But it sure doesn't operate on its own. I went in for service for a 12,000 mile oil change and tire rotation. I also asked for a state inspection. I had a prepaid oil change so we're looking at around $100. The service writer read these 3 items back to me and gave me a pad to sign ( word to the wise... ask for a paper version to review. They decided to slam me into a "Level B Service" instead of doing the work requested. A $19 carbon cleaner? What a joke. So to recap $209 bill less my prepay $59 for a total of $151 for a $60 rotation and a $35 inspection. That's a 50% adder. I did contact the dealer via their customer satisfaction email... 9 days and no response. I will be back for my last prepaid oil change but that's it. Support your local mechanic to receive fgood service and honest pricing. read more

Honesty is something that matters to me and this dealer is not honest. After deciding it was time to replace our Subaru outback with a new one, my husband did a lot of research and found AutoFair to have the best advertised price. They also had a used Subaru with a few hundred miles that looked attractive. When we called to inquired about the used vehicle they asked us for a $500.00 deposit for them to hold it for us over the weekend. Our understanding was that the deposit was to assure that we were coming in on Monday which we did. I ultimately did not like the way the used car looked. So we decided to buy a new car and found one that we liked. It was when they priced the new car that we realized how deceptive they were. Ultimately they tried to overprice us 1000 dollars over the vehicle by saying it was the destination charge. On the sticker it listed the msrp and the $1000 destination charge to arrive at the total charge. On the estimate they showed the total charge from the sticker and then the $1000 again separately. They were charging the destination charge twice. They also got a bit nasty at us as we were discussing this. We ultimately said we were no and left. We sent them an email saying that we had decided not to buy the car and requested they refund our 500 dollar deposit since we met our obligation by showing up and looking at the car. We waited a month and never received our deposit back. Fortunately it was paid on a credit card so we the credit card company handle it. We went to another Subaru dealer who had a comparable Outback listed at about 500 more. We also had a $500 Subaru loyalty coupon which Autofair would not accept. Since the other dealer did not double count the destination charge and did accept the coupon, we paid $1000 less. When all was said and done the more ethical dealer has happy to sell us the car for less money. read more

Steer CLEAR!! I took my 2015 Tucson in for an oil change on 10/23/19 and they forgot to tighten the drain plug, leaving my engine to seize over a week later. They were terrible at keeping me informed as to what was going on. Took DAYS to get reimbursed for all my out of pocket expenses the day my engine seized. The customer service manager went so far as to tell me that I seized it. I def did not seize my own engine. For a customer service manager to even tell me that is completely atrocious. Finally got my car back last week, and ZERO Paperwork to boot. I have no idea what kind of engine they installed. The one that they seized only had 17000 miles on it. I've had to file with the BBB and the attorney generals office in the state. I still don't have my paperwork on what work they performed on my car. I've been asking for it for well over a week now and I've been hung up on several times. They told me they'd get it for me and now they've made me file with the above agencies. It's illegal for them not to give me any paperwork. I have a legal right to know what work they did to my car. Not only do i not have any paperwork to my vehicle, they were assholes to boot. I was literally yelled at by Rob McDermott for smoking in the loaner car, when the other manager Scott told me i could smoke in it. If you don't want me smoking in the loaner car, don't put me out of my OWN VEHICLE. He also told me they couldn't put the tow hook back to where it goes because the service guys didn't know where it went. Umm, how about put it back where you got it from? Over 10 service guys and not a single one could figure out where the tow hook goes back? Had i known they were such idiots I would not have brought my car in. STEER CLEAR. read more
