The decor is very interesting. A multitude of celebrity autographs hang on the walls; main dining area has private booths; bar area walls have old album covers and vintage Victrola's. Bar booths are large and comfortable with pretty accent pillows. Service was impeccable for our party of 5. However, we were not impressed with the food. Coffee was not hot. We had to ask for it to be freshly made. Eggs Benedict and Salmon Benedict were not impressive. They served a somewhat small portion of home fries. (They are essentially cubed, roasted potatoes). Spinach on the Eggs Benedict was an unwelcome surprise. Hollandaise sauce tasted more like a cheddar sauce. The Autograph Omelet was not enjoyable. It was rubbery, light on the bacon and too heavy on the onion. Breakfast potatoes were much too spicy for my taste even though I picked out the peppers and onions. No where on the menu does it describe the home fries as spicy or cooked with pepper and onion. Had I known I would have chosen something else. Avocado toast was a small portion for $16 and no presentation. It was just sourdough spread with a thin layer of avocado and piled with tomatoes. Vanilla Bean Cheesecake was good but the Autograph Signature Sundae's were just fair. It was missing the brownie and the berries just didn't work well with all the other ingredients. We loved the atmosphere but simply didn't enjoy brunch. It's definitely a one and done for us. read more

We were staying in Devon and the Philly area for the weekend and we were looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. After checking out a bunch of Yelp reviews, Autograph Bistro looked like the perfect fit for our dinner and thank you, Yelp, it did not disappoint. Autograph actually exceeded our expectations!! We had an early, 5pm reservation that was made through Open Table. I left a note for the restaurant about our preferences and not only did the hostess read them, but our server, Brian was totally ON it. We were seated at a very private table #98 and it was chill, quiet and just what we were looking for. For our drinks, I had Rose and my hubby enjoyed a very nice Tito's Cosmo. We started off our meal by sharing a delicious caesar salad. Entree-wise I had the Chicken Milanese, which was perfectly crunchy on the outside and nice and moist on the inside. The accompanying salad and tomato and pesto was very flavorful that came with it and I enjoyed it to the last fork full! Hubby had the salmon and could t stop raving about it. Dessert was a wonderful way to wrap up a very memorable meal. We had the Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Torte and the Autograph Signature Sundae. It was a close tie to which was was better, but the Torte won in the end. Actually, my husband and I won as we found a new phenomenal restaurant to visit when we are in the Philly area. I cannot say enough about Brian, our server. He really made the evening even more enjoyable with his great recommendations and glowing personality. My husband and I were out celebrating our recent marriage and we had been wanting to try Autograph Brasserie for a while. I'm so glad we chose to go tonight! The service was impeccable (thank you to our server Wally!) And the food was so good. The restaurant is eclectic in style and I definitely want to see the other areas! had the Colossal Shrimp Cocktail with some of the biggest shrimp I've seen. My husband had the prime burger and truffle fries and raved about how addicting they were! I had the Chilean Sea Bass over mushroom and mussel orzo and it was delicious. To top it off we had the signature sundae which has berries and a brownie and cookie and it was a perfect way to end our dinner. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend! read more

Overall it was very disappointing. We went on Valentine's Day, we ordered the baked Brie, the ribeye, the filet, the honey and apple cake, and the banana split profiteroles. The service was nice, our waitress was nice but very soft spoken, but that's ok! The atmosphere was cool, bar is cool but very loud. The food was mediocre at best. The baked Brie was great! Best part of the meal hands down. The ribeye didn't seemed seasoned, it just tasted like smoke, which usually is good but it just tasted like that burnt smoke not like apple wood or hickory, just burnt. I had to salt it a ton on the table. The filet was so tough I thought it was a sirloin, and also the only seasoning on it was from the sauce (the sauce was pretty good though). For dessert the apple honey cake was undercooked, flavor was ok. The banana split profiteroles featured all of 3 thin slices of banana, and the profiteroles were burnt. All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone and am doubtful that I would ever come back for more than drinks. Especially for the price being as high as it is. read more

We came to Autograph for Saturday brunch. It was very slow for 11:45 am during brunch so I was a little nervous. We started by ordering the Bellini bouquet. We were told that we would get a plain Bellini, and peach Bellini and a strawberry Bellini. We enjoyed the "plain" Bellini. The Strawberry was okay. The peach was not good. Our server was kind and brought a replacement for the peach. The presentation of the Bellini bouquet was really cute, but not very functional. The bottom of the glass is straight and there is nothing to hold it so you cannot sit it on the table to casually drink it. You must put it into the vase where it clinks with the other glasses. They would benefit from adopting a different way to serve these drinks. We ordered the short rib hash and the Autograph omelet. They were both delicious. The omelet was cooked perfectly and had really fresh ingredients. The short rib hash was really good. The short rib hash was slightly over seasoned and could have benefited from a side of greens. I wish that was offered as an option. The atmosphere was very pretty. I wish we had taken more pictures of the decor. I'll have to update them when I go back. Overall, I will definitely be back. Excellent food, ambiance and service. Fun cocktails and good selection of wines. They aren't kidding when they say thick cut bacon - it almost looked like a pork chop! My favorite thing about the meal here was the branzino with chimichurri and grilled onions. One of the best branzino preparation I have tasted. I'll gladly come back here! read more

My love and I have been wanting to come to Autograph Brasserie for a while now, and we've finally made the time on our third anniversary! My love made a rsvp ahead of time, so the staff were all well aware of our celebratory evening and kindly congratulated us through the night. We were seated in a beautifully decorated space with a large tree as the centerpiece of the room. Old timey photos of celebrities were plastered on the wall, and the seating was particularly comfortable with excessive pillows. Service was very conversational and warm. My love ordered salmon pesto pasta and a glass of white wine, and I ordered a cocktail and mussels--which the latter came with truffle fries. While we did enjoy our meal, the pasta fell flat for me. It was simple and lacking culinary creativity; I know I can craft something more elegant than that. The mussels were intelligently seasoned. By the end of our dinner, the staff kindly brought out a bowl of vanilla ice cream--without us requesting it! I appreciate the unexpected gesture, and this left a very positive impression on me. read more

It is a very rare occasion for my mom and dad to come across a restaurant that I know nothing about. So when they raved about a brunch that they shared at Autograph with other family members, I saw it as a good opportunity to setup a reservation for my dad's birthday dinner. And it proved to be an incredible experience from entry to dessert! Before Autograph the restaurant space used to house Peppercorn and Georges Perrier namesake bistro,so it definitely had some noteworthy Main Line spots on the premises before. But Autograph won me over with the uniqueness of its ambiance, where one room that paid homage to iconic actresses was aligned with fake plastic trees; and the walls to the main hallway and bathroom had thousands of autograph photos of well known actors, musicians, models, artists, chefs and more. The main theme of Autograph is to "celebrate those individuals from past an present, who left their signature on popular American culture and cuisine", and it showed in every detail of the decor. The whiskey cocktail that I grabbed paired well with their selection of artisan cheeses that we picked up as our starter. The dinner menu was a solid one that yielded no wrong choices, but I had to have those Maine day boat scallops with an asparagus risotto and lemon beurre blanc sauce. And every tender bite of scallop and perfectly cooked risotto proved that it was the best decision. When it comes to dessert one of my default choices is almost always creme brulee, and the Madagascar vanilla bean and biscotti that there's yielded provided the perfect bite for a satisfying end note. With a good sounding brunch and a happy hour menu I'll definitely be back for more! read more

I love the decor and ambiance here. This is the perfect setting for a date. For the appetizer an, I had the prawns, oysters, and scallops. All the apps were very tasty esp the scallops and prawns. I ordered steak and fries for my entree. I like my steak med well and it was cooked med rare. The steak was bland but the fries were tasty and fried to perfection. A "main line" friend and I stopped by with the intention of having a bite to eat at the bar. Boy that was a mistake. I was here years ago when that alleged ego-maniacal little man had hold on this location. The place was very good then, not so much now, in my opinion. Not much of a selection at the bar, I went through three requests before I settled on a choice, and the bartender voiced his displeasure of the ownership cutting off all draft beers...now only serving bottles and cans. Ordered two appetizers to start, the Best Roll in the Tuna-verse (1-star) had very little tuna and minimal, unidentifiable salmon. It also had zero flavor except for slight fishiness and was boring. We also had the Seared Scallops appetizer (3-stars), with a token soggy mushroom and a nice flavorful sauce/emulsion. The scallops were cooked OK, could have been seared a little more to a surface crust. We were so disappointed with the start, we left and went somewhere else. No need to mention where. read more

A potentially fun restaurant struggling to find its identity. By not claiming itself as a "steakhouse" and encouraging zero dress code, people watching is more entertaining than the meal itself. The bar is inviting and staff is friendly but the cocktails are mixed poorly. I wouldn't bother with any of the "specially cocktails" especially when the staff suggested Makers after asking " prefered cocktail involving bourbon". The rolls were good (sour cream dip confusing), soup was okay and salads lacked dressing/flavor. Skip the steaks, this is obviously not a steakhouse. Attentive service, management and all around positive front of the house. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way to dine again. read more

Our group of 8 has enjoyed many Happay Hours at Autographs and loved them. Until last night. Inexplicably they changed the Happy Hour menu removing the items we loved: salmon tacos and burgers. I've been to Autograph Brasserie multiple times and I just love it! As a big fan of pop culture, I'm in love with the decor. Framed, autographed (get it?) photos of celebrities are all over the restaurant. Everyone from Jack Nicholson to Michael Jackson. Happy hour in the bar/lounge is great. I especially love going on Wednesdays when it's "Ladies Night". This means the HH specials are extended to 9pm for women. The usually schedule is 4-7pm, Monday-Friday. $5 for certain wine, cocktails, and snacks. My favorites are the deviled eggs and the marinated olives. They have other appetizers for $7+. Whenever I've come here for dinner, everything ordered has been fabulous. My favorites are the cheese plate, lobster bisque, and crab cake. Service is always friendly and attentive. A+! read more

I love the vibe inside the bar area here and the food is pretty solid... they service is where they miss the mark. The portions are huge but so are the prices so be prepared for a whopper of a bill. We started with the burrata (which I did not care for), the Greek salad (simple but fresh and a good way to start the meal, and the ahi tuna (basic but still yummy). I had the Chicken Milanese for my entree which was really good and quite filling. Lastly we had the cheesecake and key lime pie for dessert- both were incredible!' Save room for dessert when you go! This place feels so fancy. From the fixtures to the decor to their different seating rooms. We were dressed up due to it being our anniversary, but I would've felt underdressed in my normal business casual attire. I had the grilled octopus which was soft and delicious. My husband had the steak and lobster bisque and a side of mac and cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly. We even got dessert and since it was our anniversary it came with a candle and they even gave us free sparkling wine to toast for our anniversary. It was unexpected and truly welcoming. We would go more often, but it is definitely on the pricier side, so will save it for occasions for us for what we can afford. As I have written before, the food at Autograph is exceptional. The Alaskan halibut I had last night was one of the most savory seafood dishes I have ever had. The flavor and the sauce were sublime, magical. Everything else was wonderful, especially the butternut squash soup and chocolate peanut butter tart, which was decadent and spectacular. Our server, Brian, who has waited on us before, is perfect: knowledgeable, friendly, prompt and charming. A huge asset! The reason for 4 stars instead if 5 is that the noise level was unbearable. It was supersonic!!! We could not hear each other talk at times and had to shut down the conversation. That is ridiculous! Isn't that one of the reasons you to a fine restaurant, to enjoy each other's conversation? How about some acoustic ceiling tiles? It was downright cruel. Very nice meal! The space is gorgeous- the vaulted ceiling is unique but seemed to carry the voice of the neighboring table's waiter- so much so that when he was speaking, it was hard to converse. Excellent wine and cocktail options- my smoked sazerac was served with a bit of flair. Soups were good- my squash soup was one of the best I've had. Hubs liked the chicken Milanese and the trout almondine was delicious- skin was soooo crispy, too. Parker house rolls were warm, salted and served with a small dish of pickled veggies. Starting off with a beautifully crafted front of restaurant the overall appeal is definitely something worth mentioning . We dined in the room with the tree which was really cool. The service started on point- usually -no one ever mentions when you put a special occasion next to your reservation but this restaurant definitely did. Drinks were crafted well. The food was great. Complimentary small dish from chef is always worth mentioning! We got the colossal shrimp that one was almost the size of my full fist, another seasonal appetizer which was flavorful and fresh. Entrees we got the 12oz ribeye steak with French fries and the full branzino. Steak was cooked to perfection and the fries were seasoned well with perfect crisp. The branzino could have used a little more sauce on top but the taste of the sauce and the fish itself were both phenomenal. Ended with a chocolate mousse dessert that my husband said was the best dessert of his life. Two service things to mention was 1) our apps came before our drinks and nothing was said or done 2) the pace of the meal was a little too fast... would really have liked our meal to be a bit more timed out. We had a great experience yesterday for Mother's Day. We arrived late (called to notify them it'd be five minutes past the grace period) no problem. We were the second to last seating for the night at 7pm. The staff was amazing and the food was great with beautiful ambiance. I recommend sunset/evening to fully enjoy the building. What's not pictures: Prince Edward Island mussels, shrimp cocktail, 14oz steak, lobster bisque. Also, if Aladdin is working, request his section every time. We laughed like old family and he took good care of us!. I must agree with Aladdin, their food is best consumed fresh and at the restaurant. read more

After trying the White Dog Cafe (which is also owned by The Fearless Restaurant Group), we had high hopes for Autograph Brasserie and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Crab Cake and house rolls to start. The crab cake was well seasoned, and mostly large lumps of crab, the sauce that was served was an excellent complement. The house rolls contained large flakes of salt which served as an excellent foil to the savory whipped butter. We followed this with a side of Lobster Mac to share, Steak Frites (medium-rare), and the Dayboat Scallops. The lobster Mac was a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the food, but was still excellent. The Truffle Parmesan Fries were to die for and the red-wine butter was excellent. And of course, at this price point, the steak was an excellent cut and perfectly cooked. The scallops were the real showstopper in my opinion; served on a potato velouté with a lemon-arugula sauce it was expertly cooked and composed. The balsamic tomatoes were not just an afterthought with this dish, but a nice acidic contrast to the savory seafood. We ordered the crème brûlée for desert, and the espresso shortbread served as a great compliment to a classic dish. She had a strawberry martini which was excellent, if a little booze heavy for my taste. The decor is a bit eclectic, and may not be everyone's taste but I think it is a great style for a contemporary restaurant. I highly recommend Autograph to anyone who is looking to shell out some money for a truly exceptional meal. read more

It was just okay. We ordered several items across the different menu categories: Appetizer - octopus Soup and salad - lobster bisque and baby kale salad Entree - braised short rib The octopus almost seemed like it hadn't been cooked thoroughly. The texture was a little too chewy for my liking. But the sauce that it came with was delicious. The lobster bisque tasted like mostly heavy cream - it was very milky and creamy, but didn't have a lot of lobster taste. I noted that the pre-made lobster bisque I buy at Costco is much better than what we had here. The braised short rib was our favorite. It was cooked so well that it just fell apart with a fork (in a good way) - super tender and the veal reduction was very nice. The atmosphere is very eccentric - in one room there were black and white paintings of celebrities and in the room we dined in, we sat across from a huge deer head on the wall. It has kind of a funky/fancy vibe which is unique but probably not for everyone. By the way the drinks are STRONG! I don't mind if they're strong and taste good but I ordered two cocktails and they both did not taste good. read more

This was my first Sous Chef position long time ago...when it was LeAuberge! Beautiful building ! Food was good service was attentive and not overbearing! My husband booked a surprise reservation for dinner here after I passed one of my tests. I was excited to come here because he said it was really good when he came for work. We sat at a round table in the bar area. It was a cool atmosphere with a lot of autographed record covers on the walls, and there was a trumpet chandelier above the bar which was really cool too. I ordered some fruity drink. I forget the name of it but they probably don't have it anymore anyway. We looked at the drink menu ahead of time online and it didn't match with the menu they had in the actual restaurant. We asked if we could order the drinks listed online and our waitress just said they are starting a new drink menu tomorrow and she doesn't know what drinks were going to be on it. It didn't really seem like she wanted to make any effort to ask the bartender if he could make the drink or not, I'm sure they had the alcohol there to do it. It tasted decent but it was a VERY small glass. I think it should have been a little bigger glass for the price. My husbands Moscow mule drink was very good though, one of the best Moscow mules he's ever had. It had fresh ginger in it and was very refreshing. My husband had our menu picked out ahead of time. We were going to start with the lobster toast, he was going to order the duck tagliatelle and I was going to get the crab cake dinner. I probably would have rather picked the duck pasta but he said we could split it. Lobster toast was very good- fresh flavors with decent amount of lobster perfectly cooked. Crab cake was alright. I wasn't a big fan of the sides it came with- pickles and potato salad. I'm picky with crab cakes. This was a very expensive crab cake at $34. It said Baltimore crab cake. Maryland crab cakes are known for their jumbo lump crab. This crab cake didn't have big pieces of lump crab, it was more shredded crab and there was even a few little shells in it. They brought out my husband the wrong entree. They brought him out duck breast instead of duck tagliatelle, so he had to send it back. We were planning on splitting our meals but we couldn't since he had to wait longer for his food. By time he got his meal I was already pretty full so only ate a little bit of his. The amount I did eat was very good though, lots of different flavors going on. He got a complimentary butternut squash soup for the mistake. The soup had good flavor. The meal seemed to come at a very slow pace. We waited awhile for our waitress to initially come over, then waited awhile for her to come take our order, waited awhile for our food, etc. It didn't bother us that much but my friend had to work the next day at 4:30 in the morning she was getting tired. It wasn't that busy either, it was a Monday night. It seems like the less busy a place is the more slow the service is. Maybe restaurants understaff by too much. I also wanted to order another drink when I got my meal but our waitress left without asking. By time I was able to get someone to get me a drink I was finished my meal pretty much. I ended up ordering the Bellini bouquet and we all split them. It was a flower vase with 6 glasses of Bellini in it. It was an interesting drink and refreshing but took us awhile to finish. We also got desserts which were pretty good. Overall, the food was pretty good with the exception of the crab cake that was average and overpriced. Service and communication need to be improved. The atmosphere of the place is really cool. Management was nice to send a gift card to my husband as an apology though. Hopefully certain issues will be fixed the next time we return. read more

This was our first time dining at Autograph. It was a Wednesday evening, during restaurant week. We didn't know it was restaurant week at the time. Typically I'd avoid dining out during restaurant week. So my review may not be an accurate depiction of what the restaurant is like normally. That being said, service was slower. We ordered off the standard menu, not the restaurant week menu. My wife had to send her martini back (which is the first time in a very long time) Our appetizer came out with our soup and salad, which is a terrible mishap when salads and appetizers cost what they cost at this establishment. I had to send my Lobster Bisque back, because it was basically water. The waiter said he would take it off the bill ($17.00) The entrees we're fine, but I had to eat without a drink which was forgotten. I handed the waiter my credit card, and asked to run it, but bring an itemized, and I got no itemized receipt. I almost never ask for the check. It's a waste of everyone's time. I asked if he took the soup off the bill, he said yes, but didn't take it off the bill. If I'm trusting you to do your job, you should do it. I never look at the bill, but now worry I'm being taken advantage of. Regardless of the countless errors and kinda ruining the evening, I wouldn't expect this from an establishment like this one. **Problem with social distancing at this restaurant during Covid-19- they are placing people very close together and the bathrooms look as though they are not being cleaned. The upstairs bathroom I went to had no hand soap left. We went for a dinner date and got the following: Butter rolls Small oyster plate Some kind of filet mignon/beef dish Lobster mac and cheese 3 cocktails The bill was fairly high at almost $200, and while the food was good for the most part, it wasn't overwhelming. The lobster mac and cheese didn't have much lobster in it, but my partner really enjoyed his steak. A huge issue I had was we were placed in a room where the wait staff kept opening the door to serve people sitting outside- on a night where it was around 40 degrees Fahrenheit. A couple of people complained yet they kept leaving the door open and that did not make for a pleasant indoor experience to have to sit through a very frigid breeze while eating. Came her for a work happy hour with a group of eight. Since it was a beautiful sunny day we called ahead for seating on their patio section. It was perfect with these large umbrellas to give you just the right amount of shade. Our server was very attentive, constantly checking in and getting us more drinks. I had a captain and diet single tall, perfect ice cold drink! We shared a few appetizers, Artisan Cheese Plate Trio of Hand Selected Cheeses, Crostini (so good), Port Cherries, (the group fought over these) Marcona Almonds Tuscan Lamb Meatballs Only three meatballs... Garlic Parsley Fries... fantastic!! Inside the restaurant is this very cool Brass Horn Chandelier that just grabs your attention over one of the bars. I came here for lunch on a gloomy weekday. The bar area is so unique with decoration and lighting including hanging instruments. The bar is large and has plenty of seating with comfy chairs. The special that day was a crab grilled cheese with your choice of soup. I went with the lobster bisque. It was perfect combination of comfort food on a cold day. The grilled cheese was crispy and melted in your mouth. The service was great and the bartender was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back for dinner! read more
