Eggs Benedict and delicious sweet potato fries!
    Alexandra N.

Wonderful food, drinks, service and ambience! I love it here for brunch or dinner. My favorite for brunch is the Eggs Benedict. You can't go wrong with anything you choose!

Fabulous meal all around! Started at the bar and had an espresso martini. It was delicious and had a nice foam on top, not to mention the quintessential 3 beans. My friend and I decided we wanted to sit at a table for dinner. The staff was very nice and we had a delicious meal from start to finish. Our server, Jessica was amazing. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. We ordered duck croquettes, lobster cavatelli, beef bourguignon, as well as some non alcoholic drinks. I would happily return! The kitchen was also so kind to split each entree as my girlfriend and I were sharing both dishes. So each dish pictured is only 50% of the portion. Portions were great. Pricey menu, definitelya special occasionrestaurant!

Seated immediately as had reservations.. reccomend them as totally packed on a Sunday.... Began with cinnamon donuts which are the BEST. Had country breakfast ... She had 8 oz burger with truffle parmesan fries...tried her fries as TASTY !! Our waitress was attentive...friendly...always asking if coffee needed a refesher.. She had coconut rice pudding with little chocolate budino....7 year was given ice cream with a birthday candle as be 8 this week.... Candle was a very nice touch by our waitress !! Reccomend!!

Aesthetically, this place was very nice. I liked the room where I was sat, but I started off pretty badly and it just didn't get better. For whatever reason I was sat with an exterior door 6 feet behind me. Before I even met the server, three sets of people walked in and out, slamming the door as they went. My first interaction with the server was "I'm moving tables, it's ridiculous that they sat someone here." She apologized, but said they didn't normally use that door but were tonight. Fine, then don't use the table I was given that evening. The service was ok but not amazing, presumably because I was eating solo and the bill wasn't going to be more than $100 with tip and there were other tables with 2, 3, or 4 people around me. The food was similarly "ok", but not memorable. The only real issue I had was the Tuna Tartare which more olives than tuna, but I wouldn't order it or the burger again. Overall, the entire experience was "meh" and it reminded me a LOT of White Dog, which I later found out was owned by the same people. Problem is, I've had the same experience with them. The service is average, so is the food, and it's at a premium price. I'll pass.

My experience here was in a private room, for an intimate bday gathering. The room was lovely, it was dimly lit, and decorated with pics of old Hollywood actresses and the decor also had a touch of rustic charm - a very lovely space. The menu was prix fixe however before dinner was served, there were hors d'oeuvres. There was so much offered I can't name it all but all of the food was served fresh and flavorful. The hostess and bday girl were pleased with the service and the cost and I, as a guest, was impressed. Great food, good service, and beautiful space.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time. I've driven past it many times but never visited. Today I decided it was time for me to make a reservation and check out the eats. The decor was a surprise but in a nice way. There were photos of old time movie stars everywhere. The framed photos were elegant and classy. I was seated in a room decorated like an outdoor courtyard. There was a faux tree under a huge skylight which made you feel as if you were outdoors having a meal in a courtyard. The food was delicious. The whipped ricotta paired nicely with my glass of wine as an appetizer. Dinner was a beautiful piece of swordfish resting on top of a chilled couscous salad. I did order a side of asparagus which paired nicely with the meal. That was not planned. I just like asparagus. The asparagus was grilled and seasoned with parmesan and spices. Lastly I did have dessert, Hummingbird cake. The cake felt appropriate since I was sitting in a room with a faux tree. The service was good. I did not wait much time between courses. The servers were attentive to my needs and provided recommendations for dishes. My server recommended the swordfish and cake. Both were excellent choices. I would recommend eating here if in the area.

This place was... okay! First off the decor was super fun and cute. As a seafood enthusiast, I came for the tuna tartare (it's my love language). While it looked amazing on a plate, it was missing that punch of flavor... maybe a drizzle of ponzu or some ginger powder would've taken it up a notch. The oysters we ordered were juicy but on the smaller side. The shrimp cocktail, though was massive, meaty, and worth it. Service was also solid and the parking easy breezy. Overall, not bad, but if they up their seafood game, I'd be back in a heartbeat!

The decor on its own is five stars. We took my father in law here for Father's Day. The outside looks lavish AF. The inside is full of serine memorabilia. I can't get over the look of the place. This is the same owners as the white dog and we love that place too. So we started with the cornbread and strawberry jelly. That was really good. For our main courses I got the autograph omelet and my wife got the lump crab Benedict. I got part of that when she got full. Both were very good. Our server was very friendly and funny. We can't wait to go back and sit outside this time.

    Lobster Bisque
    Tiffany S.

I was with a party of 8 in total. Our server was amazing but I cannot remember her name. She was a short woman with a curly & high ponytail. She handled our table very well. I ordered the lobster bisque, Spanish octopus, muscle frites, and 2-white cosmos. The lobster bisque had good flavor but was slightly on the salty side with scant lobster meat. I would forego the bisque next time around. The octopus app tasted good. The mussels were executed well in a simple lemon, butter, and Belgian style wheat beer broth which was accompanied by truffle fries. A gf shared some of the whipped ricotta which was delicious with that hot honey.

Got the salmon dish and some sushi as an appetizer. Our eyes are the first to taste the dish and the food did it justice. They looked well served and appetizing. Once I took a bite though, realized I overhyped it in my head. They were good but not great. Bland is the word I would choose as the salmon lacked seasoning. Sushi is actually REALLY good. Place was well decorated with plants, and beautiful photographs. Service was excellent serving us with smiles, conversations and compliments.

Credit card fee & MP pasta $70 each totally not worth it.
    Jamie C.

I went to dinner in with a friend and we both ordered a pasta dish marked as MP. Given they were pasta dishes, there was a lack of lobster in there and they charged $70 each. Maybe at that price point and my friend and I both ordering the same dish, the waitress should have mentioned the price. I wouldn't have minded the price should there have been significant amount of protein in there, but there wasn't. Plus they charged me a credit card fee?? Edited review: The manager Willie reached out and ensured he had a meeting with this chefs to address the issue I mentioned above. I will return to see if my next experience is better and update my review again then.

So they have a dress code?

There is no dress code, although I would say it more of a casual formal type of spot than a t-shirt and jeans one.

    Is brunch offered daily?

Soft outer shell and some of the creamiest mozzarella center I've had, and the tomatoes were very fresh and well seasoned. Well done! I've only ever stopped by for drinks before, and I will say, their cocktails are pretty strong. We ordered the lunch prix fixe menu, which is decently priced at $35 for an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I started with the tuna tartare, which was an $8 supplement. I loved that it came with taro chips, but unfortunately, the tuna was way too fishy for my liking, and the sauce was overly salty. For my entrée, I went with the steak cooked medium. It was okay, but nothing particularly special. I'm a big fan of béarnaise sauce, so I was really hoping for a good one, but this was disappointing. It wasn't as creamy or rich as I expected. Last but not least, the highlight of my meal was definitely the mango sorbet. They had a variety of flavors, but mango was a good call. It was refreshing, fruity, and honestly the best part of the meal. Overall, it was pretty meh for me. I probably wouldn't come back for the food, but I'd consider stopping by again for drinks.

It was brutally loud as well; couldn't hear anything people were saying at the table. First, the total bill was about $500, and no one even ordered cocktails. That's a lot of money for what you get. I ordered the salmon, and it was microscopic, barely warm, and nothing special. It was literally a tiny piece of fish with almost nothing else on the plate. It looked more like a prison meal than something from an expensive restaurant. I've had salmon at many other restaurants where it arrived hot, was a generous portion, and was actually enjoyable. This was a real disappointment. The service was just okay. The staff clearing the plates seemed to have no idea what they were doing and actually asked us to pass our plates to them. Patrons shouldn't have to help clear the table, especially at a restaurant charging these prices. The servers constantly came by asking how everything was, but I wasn't interested in spending my wife's birthday complaining or sending food back. I shouldn't have to say, "My salmon isn't hot--please take it back." We also asked for a doggy bag, and they left items out of it. We reminded them three separate times, but they didn't seem to be listening. Someone else at the table complained that the Caesar salad tasted off. I could go on, but that's enough. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially given the prices. I would not go back. Last thing. They have bread on the menu for $12. it is nothing more than about five tiny croissant rolls - nothing special. They don't offer free bread. Talk about taking advantage of patrons.
