I purchased a 2021 Model Y from Autolink and traded them my 2020 Model 3. I found Lawrence to be a pleasant individual to work with, but unfortunately he concealed a serious issue with the vehicle. The car was completely infested with hundreds of COCKROACHES. To my disgust I only discovered this on the first night. When I approached the vehicle and the light turned on I saw several roaches race around the car. Lawrence had mentioned to me that there were ants in the vehicle when I noted a chemical smell during the test drive and told me that they had been taken care of. I have since not been able to use the vehicle and have had to hire a professional to take care of the problem. It will take three weeks for it to fully take effect, there are hundreds of dead roaches in the vehicle and throughout the internals. My wife is horrified and will not use the vehicle. Just got a used Lexus IS from here and it was a super easy/great experience. Usually car salespeople are really pushy and pressure you into buying but Carla and Lawrence were wonderful. It's a very small car used car dealership and all the cars are stored inside a big garage that probably houses around 10-12 vehicles. Their prices are insane!! You'll find cars here in almost perfect condition for $3,000+ under market price. My only complaint is that the car we got was pretty dirty inside. There was a lot of dog hair stuck to the sides where there was fabric material and the seats were a bit dirty. Nothing some good leather conditioner couldn't fix though. Misrepresented a car to have no current and historical issues. I bought a Toyota RAV4 2020 with 4k thinking I'm getting the greatest deal of my life but unfortunately a few weeks after sale I'm finding out that there was a reported drivability concern on the vehicle recorded after accessing Toyota application of historical services which the prior owner declined to repair. Then come to find out that the rear differential bracket broke off. Again this is after the sale of the car. I saw a repair invoice of replacing mount only. And an inspection 5 days later was done with no issues. Now, with less than 30k miles and having shuddering and screeching noises in my vehicle hoping that this issue is warranty approved, I'm being told by the Dealership as not being covered because of the records showing from historical records during 4k miles. My manufacturer warranty is now void and has been since date of sale because of misrepresentation of Autolink SD. Employees seemed to be trustworthy and honorable but this situation makes me think otherwise. A small company reseller that I thought would be a gold standard over dealerships has broken my trust and I wish you would do a better job than me in doing my research before doing business with this company. read more

Do not trust these people or their rip-off dealership! I just wasted most of a day trying to purchase a vehicle from the Autolink in Kearny Mesa (San Diego). Found a car online thru CarFax at the Autolink and immediately used the online email system to see if it was available. Carla contacted me later that day and said yes it was and would I like to make an appointment to see it? According to their website they do not allow walk-ins but work by appointment only. I contacted her back and said yes, I'd like to make an appointment for the next day and would she email me the drive away costs so I could bring sufficient funds to purchase it. She did and so I got back to her and said I should be there about 1pm the next day as I coming down from Orange County, the response was "Great, see you then!" So the next morning I got up, went to the bank, called a friend of mine to drive me from Huntington to the Amtrak station in Irvine, boarded the 11:41am to Old Town San Diego, arranged for a Lyft to meet me there and drive me to Kearny Mesa. BEFORE I left the house I called down to Autolink to confirm that I was on the way. I spoke with Lawrence who said he'd let Carla know and see me at 1pm. He explained how to find their suite and that he'd have the vehicle out front. I am on the train when I receive a phone call from Carla stating the car has been sold! "WHAT!" I said and she said "sometimes that's just how it goes." I explained to her all of the above that I'd gone through and her response was it's not her fault since I didn't put a deposit on it. I asked how was I to know that I needed to put a deposit on a vehicle I had an APPOINTMENT to see. She had no answer other than "well that's how it goes." I asked her, as the dealer why didn't you tell me I needed one? Once again, the inane response of "well that's how it goes." came over my phone. Great. I waited for the next stop, got off the train. Had to buy a full price ticket of course since my first one was one-way only. Contacted a family member who was able to meet me an hour later at Amtrak, Irvine and cart me home. Arrggg! Get an AutoCheck report, not a CarFax report. This dealer uses a loop hole in the CarFax report to pass off damaged vehicles as "clean". CarFax only provides information on damage the DMV is aware of but doesn't report damage flagged at auction. When I went to trade in my vehicle, the dealer pulled up an AutoCheck report and low and behold the car I purchased from AutoLink had frame damage. **Update** Lawerence's modus operandi is to purchase vehicles that only have frame damage reported at auction to fool the would-be buyer. It is illegal to not disclose this information. If you bought a vehicle from Lawerence, get an AutoCheck report and find a lemon law attorney. read more

When me and my husband were looking for a used car, we really shopped around. Autolink is a pleasantly different experience than what you would get at a typical dealership. We faced no high pressure sales tactics. Both Carla and Lawrance were patient and showed us all the cars, without any pressure to sell the car, or the financing. We are both very savvy shoppers, so we really, I mean really looked within 75 miles radius to get the best deal. Autolink consistently had great prices on the makes and models we were interested in. I also had a very different experience than other reviewers that mentioned their availability issue. We were in a rush to get a car, and Carla was able to accommodate us on Christmas eve at around 2pm on a very short notice. I understand that they may not always have that kind of availability, but it definitely speaks for them trying to help you out and accommodate you if they can. Our purchase experience itself was smooth, although it looks like we bought the car someone else came in to see a mere few hours after us. The thing is, they do have great prices, so if you really, really want a car, you need to rush (get it held or something, not sure if they do that or how that works) or it might be sold. Then it makes sense to run your own carfax just to be sure, I would do it if I am buying any used car from any place.
