My vehicle was backed into and the tail hatch back was bent in a hit n run but thanks to a witness…read morethe guy was caught and his insurance paid for the worst example of craftsmanshit ive ever seen from them. up until now they were top dog but either i pissed them off or they have morons working there. there was a separate part that attached to the tail gate hatch that was discolored like it been in the sun or they buffed to finish off it. looked like total crap. worse then the actual damage as to why i took it there. so i went right back in and unknowingly got the owner who came out so i could show him and first he said it wasn't part of the lift gate so them i opened it to show him it was, and then he said it was held on by 2 rivets and the original unblemished in perfect condition was still on the old lift gate and they could change it right now. ( instead of it already been changed before they called me saying it was done) . so i waited a half hour and when they brought it back out the vehicle was now full of tiny scratches that were not here before. then i noticed the body lines didn't match up on the tail gate to quarter panel which the owner mentioned it was a american car . after going thru the pictures taken when it was first dropped of it showed those scratches where not there when i brought it in. the owner told me to bring it back the coming Monday as it was Friday afternoon then, and he would get it fixed. so all weekend i stewed thinking about it and come Monday i took it back . then i kept getting these survey emails so i eventually responded and pretty much described the crap job honestly that they tried to sell me. 2 days later i get a call the vehicle is done and they read the survey which they were not happy about. when i went to pick it up it looked good but i only was looking a the back.after i got it home in the garage i noticed a new dent coming from the inside pointing out on the middle of the driver side quarter panel. already fed up i figured im gonna sell it as i do not trust it anymore.. well tonight after its been sitting in my garage since i pulled it in then, i noticed the finish ground off on the top of the door panel where it meets the roof. I will never take a vehicle or recommend them to anyone now. either they hired a moron or someones bent on discouraging people from trusting them to do the job right. unfrikenbelievable is the word. seems every time i return it to have the job done right it comes back with other damage. what was one a accident free impeccable body now looks like crap. I will now have to find a different body shop to fix there quality workmanshit. im not even gonna go back to show them this. and to think i felt a little bad with my review . not! its actually pretty sad.

Be cautious if Pro Muffler & Brake asks you to purchase the parts for a repair…read more I paid them to replace a special-order bushing on my 4x4 pickup. They asked me to obtain the parts myself, as they had done during an earlier repair. After the work was completed, the new seal leaked. When I returned, they said they would charge me additional labor to correct the problem because I had supplied the parts. Their signed warranty states, "We will honor work that we have performed, and there are no exceptions." I understand that a shop may not warranty a customer-supplied part, but that limitation should have been clearly explained before the work was authorized--not after a problem appeared. I now have to pay another shop to determine whether the seal was improperly seated, the housing was damaged, the supplied part was defective, or something else caused the leak. My advice: insist that this shop obtain the required parts itself, and get the parts-and-labor warranty terms in writing before approving any repair.

I didn't think any shop would be able to get me in for an alignment before I needed to travel for the holiday. I called M&W at a friend's recommendation and they got me an appointment for later that day. They called me back around 90 minutes after dropping my truck off and said it was finished! Everyone I dealt with was friendly and informative, and the work they did was fairly priced and solid! Aaron even texted me to ask how things were going after I'd had a couple days to drive around. Took my car in to them to have the AC system serviced, and they damaged my serpentine belt…read moretensioner bolt while replacing the belt and AC compressor. There is obvious evidence of someone wrenching/over torqueing the mounting bolt (as the head was partially rounded), which lead to a stress failure. About a month after the AC service, the tensioner bolt snapped due to the torqueing, and left my car inoperable. When confronted, they claimed "we don't round over bolts here" and that it was fairly common for those bolts to "just break". When I pressed that they were the only shop to ever service my car, and it had to have been them doing something that caused the damage, the owner told me "I'm not going to argue with you. If you've got a problem, take it somewhere else". A hardened mounting bolt doesn't just randomly snap unless it is corroded (which it isn't), or a massive amount of extra stress was suddenly applied to it, like someone wrenching on it. I would've expected some cooperation at least, or for them to offer to at least take a look at what may have happened, but they just defaulted straight away to being fully defensive and standoffish. Customer service is definitely not their specialty. Had I saw some of the other fairly negative reviews, I would have never risked my car by taking it to Hardin's......... Be warned, they are definitely not worth your business.....
