It was an employee who no longer works there. He reimbursed me for the parts and talked about his business model and how important customer satisfaction is to him. I feel like my part in this was that I didn't verify who I was speaking to and didn't ask enough questions. This was really weighing on me- and I truly worried about losing my bumper. I feel like that is not going to happen and feel relieved that this is resolved. I would feel comfortable recommending this shop, and would use it,(hopefully I won't need bodywork), in the future.

Very Disappointed With My New Vehicle Delivery…read more Let me start by saying that I have owned eight new Hondas, and I have never experienced a delivery that was this disappointing. I have purchased vehicles from both Sarasota Honda and Bradenton Honda in the past, and every one of those experiences was excellent. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my most recent purchase. On Saturday, I purchased a new 2026 Honda Civic Si from Rick Henderson. I want to be clear that the sales transaction itself was smooth, the customer service was good, and the wait time was reasonable. However, the delivery of my new vehicle was completely unacceptable. My vehicle was sitting in the showroom, and I expected it to be properly inspected, cleaned, and prepared before being handed over to me. Instead, I received a brand-new vehicle that was dirty inside and out. There were fingerprints all over the windows, and the rear window had visible handprints left behind from the tinting process. To make matters worse, when the vehicle was taken to be fueled, two people were inside the car while it was raining outside. No paper floor mats were placed in the vehicle, resulting in the floor of my brand-new car getting wet. This is simply unacceptable during the delivery of a new vehicle. There are also several other issues that should have been caught before delivery. The trunk tray is damaged and has some type of oil or residue on it that I have been unable to remove. There was also tree sap on the exterior paint, which I had to personally buff off after taking the vehicle home. When someone purchases a brand-new vehicle, especially a customer with a long history of purchasing Hondas, there is a reasonable expectation that the vehicle will be delivered in clean, pristine, and presentable condition. I should not have to clean fingerprints off the windows, remove tree sap from the paint, deal with an oily damaged trunk tray, or worry about a wet interior immediately after taking delivery. I am extremely disappointed with the way this delivery was handled. The purchase experience may have gone smoothly, but the final step--the actual delivery of my new vehicle--fell far below the standard I have experienced with Honda in the past. I will be uploading photos this weekend to document the condition of the vehicle at delivery. I expect these concerns to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. After purchasing eight new Hondas, I can confidently say that this was by far my worst new-vehicle delivery experience.

The most recent was a complete mis-diagnosis of a check engine light issue, where they wanted to charge me $2,400 for repairs that as it turns out would not have even addressed the main issue. The smallest of which is recommended replacement of a perfectly good battery for $448.20 before they could even fully diagnose the issue. The only valid charge would have been for a coolant flush. I had to reach out multiple times to get an update and ended up taking 3 days to get a bad result. They either did not know what they were doing or were consciously trying to overcharge me. An independent repair shop diagnosed the issue correctly and saved me considerable $$.
