I've been a loyal customer of Mini Cooper of Las Vegas for over 15years, but was shocked to receive a service quote that was nearly 3x the market rate-- received a different quote that they said they could match but have been given the run-around. Thankfully my partner saw their quote before i just trusted them and paid. As someone who has trusted this dealership for years, it's extremely disheartening to feel taken advantage of. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. I thought because I bought a vehicle in 2015 from them. I would have my daughter but her very first car from them and help build her credit. Unfortunately NONE of this is happening for her. We came in back in June 2023. My daughter needed a co signer. So she had her ex boyfriend to be that. As her ex boyfriend and I were out picking up his trade in. The finance guy Justin approached her with other options . As I also asked her to ask to see if there were other cars she could get into without a co signer. She did as I suggested. Yet she didn't like any of them. Justin was extremely pushy and rude unto daughter. For they knew she was a first time buyer. She went with a car where she needed a co signer, his trade in and $500 cash for down payment. Now we stopped in the other day to find out who she needs to call for to make her first payment. Because we didn't have the paperwork. They gave us her paperwork for registration. Which they never gave her in the beginning. With this paperwork she was able to make the payment. However, that's when she found out that Auto Nation financing team put the car in her ex- boyfriends name as the borrower and my daughter as the co borrower. So she's paying for a car that is NOT even hers nor is it improving her credit. Everything is under him. Yet the registration is saying her.So she's paying for someone else's car payment unknowingly and improving their credit unknowingly!!!!!!! They KNEW my daughter was buying this car. They KNEW her ex boyfriend was her co signer smh. To take advantage of my daughter, a new car owner and being it WOULD have been her ever FIRST car she has ever had is unethical and fraudulent on their part and just down right wrong. I do not know how many people they have done this to . To do a car deal. However I hope you all check your paperwork. We will be filing a class action lawsuit against them. To those of you who like to lease a vehicle and get something new every 2-3 years, there are other options besides returning your vehicle to the dealer you leased from. Give your vehicle a 'kbb.com' check and see what your vehicle is worth nearing the end of your lease agreement. There are dealers that will make cash offers to obtain your vehicle and some may be beneficial to you and your current situation. Always check with your current lender, for the current payoff amount and how long that is good for (usually 10 days). I know this amount does not always land on the benefit side of the equation, but when it does 'PSA' you have options other than paying $1-2k to return the vehicle and be left with empty pockets. I was happy to work with the team there at Autonation Mini Cooper. They were very responsive and helped me along my journey to sell my leased vehicle. Jason Rech and Eric Hunsaker made the process smooth and with the least amount issues. Second time is a charm!!!! My car is one year old and has about 7000 miles.I had an appointment to service my mini for 7/28 at 11 AM. I arrived at 10:45 AM and walked thru the door to check in and the service lady at the desk to the right greeted me, but did not make me feel welcome at all. I told her I had an appointment for 11am and I was going to wait for my car. Very coldly she said that it was not a problem and it was going to be 5 hours wait! I told her that it was not going to work, and that I was told it was only going to take 45 minutes or so by the call center person who set up the appointment for me. Without showing any sympathy or care she replied that the people at the call center have no idea of what goes on at the dealership! She was kind of yelling and intimidating the entire time... She asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said I was going to go to Firestone Auto-care for my oil change even if I had to pay for; but she replied that if I did that all my warranties would be voided! So I asked her kindly to reschedule the appointment for me for a day and time that she recommended, when the wait time is not 5 hours. She booked me for 8/10 at 7 am. I took the appointment, thanked her and drove 45 minutes back home. Side note: during those 5 minutes conversation we had I used words like please, thank you and sorry; during that same time I have not heard ANY of those words coming out of her mouth and the was kind of mad at me or life itself. Going back to my first sentence: "second time is a charm!"... I walked thru the door again, went to the service man to the left and got checked in, I made a joke about everyone being in a better mood at 7AM- we laughed at that! He quoted me for an hour and a half wait; not ideal but acceptable. He offered complimentary carwash, I declined.He was efficient and polite. The waiting lounge has vending machines for snacks, complimentary bottle of water, and a very nice complimentary selection of coffees! I STILL recommend MINI of Las Vegas. read more

My company went into to Mini of Las Vegas for a truck that was advertised. Worked out the specifics on Friday, went in with Check in hand for full asking price, after jumping through hoops about our Corporation. When everyone got there, the truck that they advertised for sale, was suddenly unsafe. Sales Manager would not come out to discuss with the President of our company, nor would anyone let me know what the sales managers name was. Do not use AutoNation to purchase vehicles. read more

I recently bought a car from Mini Auto Nation. Worst experience ever. If ever there was a time when you should have listened to your first instinct this was one of them. They had a Nissan Rouge there and I went down to see it. I knew right away that I did not like the mileage on it. Why I let them talk me into it? If I could back tract and start over I surely would. But, I was told that I could bring it back within 5 days or 250 miles. I brought it back. Only to leave in it again, and I am so sorry I did. The salesman had told me if I wanted to come and trade it in on something else I could. He made it sound so easy. The day came 3 weeks later when I realized that I could never be happy in that car. I hate it that much. So I talked to him about it again and this time he said that I would have to register it first then I could trade it in. Why that is? I don't understand because why would you register a car that you didn't want to keep? So I did that and went down there to trade it. I found a couple of Toyota's that I was interested in. He figures out the paper work and tells me my car payment would jump up to 650.00 from what it was. He already knew I could not afford that much a month. On top of that I still have car insurance and a gap warranty to get. This was way too much. So I had to leave in a car that I hate very much and have to make payments on as well. What do they care? They don't they made their money. So I took the car down to Car Max and saw a car that I really wanted only Car Max didn't even want the car and did a search on it and found out it was only worth 8,000! I am so disgusted because not only would they just put 8,000 towards the car I want, the bank would want the rest of the money before they would finance another one for me. They knew all of this at Auto Nation but weren't going to tell me that! Most car dealers are the worst anyway. They will lie to you and tell you what they think you want to hear just to sell you a car. Their are a few that are different but not many and you just have to find that one that actually cares enough not to rip you off. As far as Auto Nation is concerned I'm sorry I ever went there in the first place. I'm not happy at all. I hate getting in the car, I really hate driving it so I probably won't be going anywhere unless I absolutely have too until I can get rid of it. I'm stuck and hating life because of it. But, I really do not recommend going to this Company for anything. When you change your mind and want to trade they will not try and help you to do that very easy.
