Extremely upset and unsatisfied with how Autopark Service center handled the situation with my car. I wouldn't recommend this service center to anyone owning a Honda. We had our car towed to Autopark as it wouldn't start at all. The service advisor notified us that the battery cables were damaged due to "over tightening". Per their email: "Found battery cables loose around battery terminals from over tightening. Will need to replace positive and negative battery cables. Got price to repair." The total estimated cost quoted to us to get this repaired was $1413.61 plus taxes. We were very surprised by this amount and called a few places to get more information on this. We had replaced our battery at AutoZone a few months ago and called them regarding this issue and they stated they had never heard of "over tightening". This same comment was made by few other auto repair shops in the area. Talking to Leith Honda in Raleigh, they quoted a much lower amount for the positive and negative cables, if it had to be replaced in the first place. Realizing this, we finally decided to have the car towed to a different autoshop to diagnose the issue. Their analysis and repair "removed felt pads from battery post, now battery cables can fit on post properly secured terminals". This cost us $57. 71. Additionally, Autopark charged us $78 to run diagnostics which was never told to us prior to starting the work on it. All in all, I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated the way Autopark handled the situation. I'm far from an expert on my car which is why I trust the service center at a Honda facility to properly diagnose and assess the situation and provide me with accurate information. Additionally, I'm appalled by the estimate for the parts that was provided to us as they were much higher than any other locations. Our car is running fine now and the fact that they stated BOTH battery cables had to be replaced for a simple fix was quite shocking. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I've had great experiences here in the past. We purchased a vehicle here in 2007. We referred friends here, years after. I don't know what they've done with management or anything, but it's nothing good. A manager at the location, Malik Moss, caused an accident on my Civic. It's a manual, and he didn't leave it in gear or pull the parking break, so it ended up rolling into another customer's car, causing these damages. Police Report wasn't issued on the same day either because Malik was trying to push me out of there. Next day, police come for the accident report. Malik supposedly went to a body shop to get an estimate, and told us that it's $800. Cop didn't want to write a police report because it was supposed to be less than $1000. Interesting how insurance comes back and tells me it's $1300 worth of damages. It's been 2 weeks since the accident today, and I was informed that I would have to drop my vehicle off and they would take care of fixing it and stuff. Guess what? They haven't. I had to call their insurance company 2 days after the accident and file the claim myself because they hadn't even put in the claim. Can't even take responsibility, clearly. Don't come here. Don't let Malik touch your car. Go to Leith Honda. 3940 Capital Hills Dr, Raleigh, NC 27616 UPDATE 06/02/2022 Malik texted me that they can raise the offer by $1000. I texted Malik and told him that the past two weeks have been a pain, and told him that they can increase the offer to something much higher, since the past two weeks didn't need to happen if he would have accepted my initial offer. Then I received a call from the General Sales Manager, Brandon Rigney. He tried to explain to me how they increased the offer by $1000. He told me that because the car has to be fixed, they took $1000 off what I wanted and is giving me the new price. For an accident their employee caused. How much sense does that make? Additionally, he said he would write me a personal check for the damages, by the estimation given by the insurance company. I asked if they would give me a rental car during this period, or even a car to use, he said no. Again, what? I'll be car-less, and they're not going to give a car. This place is ridiculous. The four stars instead of five is because I was there for close to three hours and there's not enough area for professional work. I've been double charged (which they fixed eventually) and they call me randomly saying they need money/paperwork NOW or I lose my car. So I drive it over there every single time. But now my new car had the license plates revoked because they never completed registration at the DMV. I am fuming. Never again. I had a flat tire and I was an hour away from my home. It was getting close to closing time when I called Honda. They told me to come on in and they would take care of everything. When I got there they were great and I ended up buying all new tires and getting other work done and they did it all while I waited even though I know some of the people there had to stay past closing time. ** Sent the following to the dealership over a month ago, no response .... Our worst vehicle purchase experience, ever. Ordered our HRV on Oct. 4, with an ETA of mid/late Nov.  After several ETA "pushes" in Nov. and Dec., we were told for 3 weeks that our HRV "is still on a truck in GA". And, since Honda increased prices on Jan. 1, we would have to pay more than the agreed-to price.  Dealer refused to split the price difference.  Classic "bait and switch".  Unacceptable. Picked up the same model HRV on Jan. 11, after going to the dealership to check on the status f our HRV.  Wass told that a truck had arrived that day with the same model HRV, but that it would be sold "first come first serve". So ... we waited over 3 months, were never told that "first come first serve" vehicles were arriving, that there are 2 "paths" to purchase.  And I don't believe fora minute that this was "the first truck to arrive" with "first come first serve" vehicles. You'd have sold the exact same model HRV to a walk-in after we waited 3+ months?  Unacceptable. The ONLY reason that we went through with this purchase is that we had zero "leverage" in this transaction.  You sell the HRV regardless, and we still need a vehicle. We have purchased several Hondas over the years; several from Autopark Honda.  Apparently, that does not matter. In the past, we have always gone to Autopark Honda first. First time leasing a car was from this place ! Not sure if my good credit score had anything to do with it, but it was a simple process. I was told I didn't have to put any money down, but I did anyway. I'm doing the trade-in thing so I have one more year with this car and I have ONLY had it serviced through the Cary Autopark location. I didn't give it 5 stars because sometimes they do seem to rush the maintenance process without giving too much information or time to ask any questions lol. Other than that, I love the place. I purchased a 2018 Honda CR-V in November. I don't drive much so I have not had service yet. However, one day all of a sudden, my Sirius radio (for which I have a paid subscription) said "Check Tuner". I exchanged information with the on-line dialogue, who said someone would call me. Not having much faith in that means of communication, I called the service department trying to find out what may be wrong. I spoke with someone there who said somebody would have to call me back. So now, I have two promises for a callback. Guess what? No one called back. Even before I called, I check my owners manual to see if there could be a problem description like mine. Nothing! I finally went to a Honda forum page on the internet and it gave me ideas to try. So for my model car, you have to turn the radio off, then hold in the volume button for about 10 seconds. Then, you can do a reset of the radio. This worked no thanks to the Service Department. If they can't even give you a call back after two promises, I wonder what the rest of their service department is like. read more

My husband and I were in the market for a new Honda Odyssey EX-L. I shopped around online with different local Honda dealerships in the area, and was offered a great price on the Odyssey by Sanford Honda. Since Auto Park was the closest Honda dealership to my home, I decided to test drive the car there and see if they would price match the deal Sanford Honda offered me. I met with salesman, Khaled Elridi. He was very informative and he knew just how to explain all the bells & whistles and safety features on the car. Mr. Elridi was a definite bright spot on my overall experience. Once we sat down to discuss the price, I asked if they would price match or even beat the price Sanford gave me. Glenn Finkel, the sales manager came over to meet with us and gave us this whole spiel on how Auto Park is currently the #9 ranked dealership in the nation and how they sell 250+ cars a month with a million dollar profit. Then he started to belittle Sanford Honda saying they only sell 21 cars a month and that there's no way that they would take such a huge loss when they don't make much profit to begin with. He warned us Sanford Honda would probably hide and add extra fees because the price was too good to be true and there was no way they would let the vehicle out the door at that price. So I asked Mr. Finkel, if Auto Park is the #1 Honda dealership selling 250 + cars a month and make a huge profit why wouldn't they price match Sanford Honda's price? Certainly, the "loss" wouldn't affect them, as he made it clear they take losses on some vehicles but make them up on others to the tune of an overall profit. But he refused to work with our number and told us to go to Sanford Honda because his dealership would not take a $800 loss. He assured us we would drive out to Sanford only to find out that the vehicle would not be sold at that price, find up-charges only to return back to Auto Park and take his offer (which, by the way, already had someone else willing to buy it...you know how it goes). Well the following day, my husband and I went to Sanford Honda and lo and behold purchased the Odyssey EX-L for the same great out of the door price they had offered us... plus they included additional accessories at no extra cost. There was no games or gimmicks with them; we were in & out the door in 90 mins. They did not in add any extra hidden fees as Mr. Finkel said they would. If you want a great deal on your next Honda purchase go to SANFORD HONDA...it's a bit further if you live in the city, but it's worth the drive there! Auto Park Honda is a GREEDY dealership! They do not seem to price match or try to negotiate with their customers to try to get them the best price for their budget. In my car quest, Auto Park Honda was dealership #5 that I visited. My car buying "husband" adviser Matt went along with me on Thursday February 17, 2011. I left work and went straight to pick up Matt, who was dressed much more casually so I scolded him for it. He said, "it doesn't matter. They're all slimeballs anyway. Our money's still good." We got there at about 5:45 with our eyes set on a Honda CRV for me. We'd also done our research on this CRV and noted that it was priced a few thousand dollars over its actual value so we figured that maybe just maybe we could get them to come down a bit. It seemed like a good buy, but were hoping they'd work with me to make it more affordable. That was not so... When we got there we drove around the lot until we found the CRVs. It looked fine so we parked up front knowing that a car salesman would come over to us. We were spotted! Ronnie Hayes walked over to us. We told him up front the price range, that I have my own financing, age range, model, and mileage we were looking for on a vehicle. He seemed to instantly write us off and it wasn't even that narrow of a window to work with. He showed us the CRVs and walked us through the rest of the small pre-owned lot and basically rubbing it in our faces that none of these were for us. Ronnie Hayes, I may not have $23K+ to spend on a car, but that doesn't mean you need to treat me like my money's worthless. As you can see from my original review, I thought these guys were not as bad as the other reviewers were saying... little did I know what I was in store for. My wife and I were due to have a baby in May so I took our Honda there for some radio trouble in early March. Two months before the baby is due, so you would think I would have the car back by baby time no problem, right? Here it is near the end of May and I got the car back *yesterday*. This is after wrangling with numerous people there, calling every other day and being told "your car should be done in two days -- we will call you"... then no one calls. Then the radio is "fixed" but the original problem is not and I'm told "oh you didn't tell us about that", despite that being my primary reason for bringing the car in and having already had it in the shop for the same problem the previous month. In the middle of this, one of the service advisors I was working with apparently quit. He told me he would speak to his manager and call me back one day and after a few days of hearing nothing I called to speak to him and the receptionist told me "he no longer works here". Okay... is someone going to follow up with me on my car or did all of his paperwork go into a giant black hole? The new guy wasn't any better. Condescending and slow to respond. I spent the last month trying to get someone to tell me what the heck was going on with my car and every day I would get a different answer. I cannot overstate how disappointed I am. I spent a fair bit of money on service here but it seems to not matter at all to them. Avoid this place at all costs. This review is based on my experience with researching and purchasing a new car. First off, I had never purchased or considered purchasing a new car before this experience. Past car buying experiences have involved used cars, typically from CarMax. I dreaded the stereotypical car sales experience. I did my research online and wanted to test drive a Honda Insight. I sent in an internet price request to the dealer via Honda's website and Auto Park Honda quickly contacted me back with a price and a request for me to come in and test drive the vehicle. Note that once a dealer has your phone number and email, they will contact you a number of times to set up an appointment. This is not unexpected but be ready for it. I visited the facility and met with Ronnie, who took me on a test drive in the Insight and the Fit (at my request). I also looked at the CRVs but they seem bigger than the past year models and would stretch my budget. I then went back to the Honda website and custom built a Fit by selecting exactly the body style, paint colour, and accessories I wanted. I knew I wanted some accessories but limited my selection to the things I could not do easily myself. All the door edging, bumper applique, etc. are really just stickers that you can purchase elsewhere and easily apply yourself. I received a quick quote from Auto Park Honda's internet department that was significantly below MRSP and was better than another dealer's price. I returned to the facility to set about seeing if the car specifics I wanted was in stock (it was) and purchase the car. I arrived during a very busy time and so was not surprised to have to wait a while for the salesman to be available and go through all my paperwork. What I was put out with was being initially brought the wrong car which wasted about 30 minutes. The buying process took several hours. I'm pretty sure I got a mild sunburn sitting and waiting. I accepted the price the internet department sent me which they then proceeded to enter into their computer incorrectly, and produce financial documents that were wrong. Twice. Alright, that got annoying. Finally I met with the financial manager (John?) to sign my final paperwork and went through the most unpleasant part of the process. He laid out a whole bunch of adds to the pricing to do things like include additional warranty items, add key loss protection, apply exterior and interior stain protection, etc. I declined all the adds and he became increasingly pushy and even hostile, implying disparaging remarks about my reason and intelligence. Finally, I was able to sign all the paperwork and leave with my new car. My purchase included some dealer-installed accessories which I scheduled to get installed at a later time. I wasn't sure whether to call them or they would call me (they would not have to install them if it was more than 30 days after the purchase of the car). I called them and left a message and then repeated the call in a few days when I did not hear back. I arranged a service visit and they installed the accessories quickly and well. Overall, the salesman I worked with, Ronnie, I would rate a 4. The sales/financial manager, John maybe, I would rate a 1. He brought nothing positive to the experience. I would rate the service department a 3 only because it would have been nice for them to be proactive and call me, since they owed me work, and they did not return my first call. The installation was good and I have no complaints about that. I would rate my happiness with the car purchased itself as a 5! In summary: Do your research and it will make everything go smoother! The internet price I received from them was much better than the sticker price (of course) or the MRSP. I essentially received a lower than MRSP even with the $500 worth of accessories. Prior research allowed me to be confident in my selection and price so the last minute sales pitch on the additional warranties, protection, etc. really annoyed me. If they provided full information on all the options before the final signing I would have been more amenable to considering them as I could have researched the options - but sales people that use these tactics are relying on you to be worn down and emotional. This will probably be true of many dealers. read more

From the time I entered to the time I left I was greeted with smiles and good service. I would definitely recommend this place to whoever enjoys red carpet service. Just bought a brand new Honda Civic from Autopark Honda in Cary. I seriously was dreading the car buying experience but these guys made it honest, quick, and a lot less stressful than I was anticipating. As a female, new grad, and going in alone, I was probably seemingly easy prey for the "evil" car salesperson. I knew this going in to Autopark which is why I was only stopping in for a test drive. My salesperson, Scott Moore, was everything but evil. He and I hung out for three hours that day where he showed me various trims of the two models of Hondas I was trying to decide between. Scott was great- not pushy, knowledgeable, open, and honest. He added great input whenever prompted. I appreciated the time he took for me to decide and honestly it was great to get to know him! The negotiation was not hostile and I was able to get a great price and interest rate for my new car. Glen, my finance manager, also was very personable and helpful. After purchasing my car, Scott ensured my car was detailed to my standards, everything was squared away, and took the time ON HIS DAY OFF to show me how all the new features on my car worked. The dealership itself is a pretty happening place: they have over 40 car salesmen, free popcorn, free AND good coffee. If you buy a car from there you get free oil changes for life (and the good stuff too). Not to mention, you can get free massages and manicures on certain days if you're getting your car serviced. As weird as it sounds, I'm excited to take my car in to get all these free perks AND say hi to my friend Scott. In summary, this place is a great place to buy a car. Scott is a great person to buy a car from. Seriously, he's the man. read more

[Gotta remember to check in again next time I'm here] I bought my Fit here three and half years ago, and since then I have been bringing my car here for all services, even though I am more than capable of doing everything myself. The reason I do that, is because of their top notch service. I always bring my car in first thing in the morning, meaning my car is parked in front of their door fifteen before the hour when they open at 7 AM. From that point to when I drive off, I get nothing but warm hospitality and great service. Did I mentioned their have coffee and cappuccino machine, and fresh pastry (only if you come early, because they are gone quick.) They will explain to you the procedure that will be performed when your car is taken into the work area, and they always reminded me if the tires need to be rotated or any fluid replacement, not forced it on you untold and ask you to pay for it after. I will continue to come back here and until I trade this car back to them for my new ride soon. read more

I am consistently unhappy with the customer service here. I bought a Honda Odyssey in October 2013 (had a decent buying experience) and received the free oil change for life on the mini van. i wish I wasn't tied down to getting service at this location: 1. The first time I called to schedule an appointment for an oil change, I was told it they were booked out for over a week. That is ridiculous in my opinion, especially when I used to have a Ford Explorer and could go through the Quick Lane service without an appointment and could be done in less than an hour. 2. The next time when my oil life was low, I called to scheduled an appointment and they refused to let me schedule an appointment until my car was showing 15% oil life. Well given my experience the first time, I wanted to make sure I called ahead and got an appointment that was convenient for my schedule. 3. This past Friday, I went in for a scheduled oil change (with my 1 year old), an appointment that I made a week in advance when my service light came on and there was 15% oil life. I got there at 9:20am for a 9:30am appointment. The place was chaotic with cars backed up in all three lanes. I was worried that it would take hours to get my oil change. a. When I was told to pull up, the Honda rep said he would be right with me as he finished up some paperwork. Then some guy cuts in line and says his car has been there being repaired that week and that he needed to get into his car to retrieve items. The guy said he'd look into it and takes off. Never mind that he was supposed to be with me next. b. Then what appears to be a manager comes over from another lane and gets my keys and info. He hands it off to a service advisor named Jen. When I asked her how long it would take, she said they were busy but she would definitely try to get me out of there in 1 hr 15 mins, 1 hr 30 minutes top. Okay, sounds good. I took my 1 year old to their kids' play room to wait. c. Apparently the light switch in the enclosed toddler room turns off the lights in the refreshment area as well. After my child and another child in the room were playing around with the light switch, we had a lady come into the room and rudely told us to keep the kids from playing with the lights because the rest of the customers couldn't see their coffee. Huh?? The other mom and I realized that the light switch controlled the lights outside of that room too. Obviously someone didn't think through that one. d. After 1 hr 20 mins with a toddler who was getting quite bored, I found Jen and asked her what the status was on my car. She said that she'd go check. She seemed annoyed that I was even asking. Then she didn't come right back with an answer as I saw her come get two other customers to let them know their car was ready. I was getting more annoyed by the minute. FINALLY she comes back to me after 1 hr 45 minutes has passed. I was feeling relieved that my car was done...BUT instead she asks if I want my tires rotated. Are you kidding me?!? Obviously they had only just brought my car back since she was just now asking me what else I wanted done to the car. I was livid. e. By the time they were done with my car and I paid, I had spent 2 hrs 10 mins there for an oil change. If I didn't have an appointment, I would understand. However, I had an appointment. When I addressed this with Jen, she just kept saying "I'm sorry." Then after pushing her about the poor customer service, she said they were busy and had gotten behind that morning. When I asked how could they get that far behind before 9:30am, she then admitted that they were overbooked that morning. I was getting more unhappy the more she talked. If I didn't have a screaming toddler on my hands, I would have asked to talk to a manager, but I didn't have the time or energy as I was now in a rush to pick up my 3 year from preschool. If it wasn't for the fact that I have free oil change at this location only, I would look to get my car serviced elsewhere. I knew the "free oil change" when I bought the car would be too good to be true. While it doesn't cost me money, it costs me more than double the amount of time that it should. read more

I recently paid $240 to have AutoPark Honda of Cary detail my car and walked away disappointed. The detailer ironically gave my vehicle the quality of cleaning I could have gotten for much less at your average drive-thru carwash, while missing many of the "details". The windows and mirrors were not thoroughly cleaned, the trunk space was not vacuumed and there are areas of the walls that were not cleaned. On the exterior, the rims were still dirty and the detailer didn't buff the paint under the roof rails. When I asked about this, I was told that the detailer "Couldn't reach it." I sent the vehicle back again when I inspected it and it came out slightly better but I was told by the service writer that since it was closing time, I would have to leave. read more

We bought a Honda HR-V sport from Autopark Honda. Our sales associate Kaine Colon did an amazing job with the whole purchase process. Our purchase was a little complicated as we are out of state. But still Kaine and Bill (finance department) went out of their way to answer all our text/emails/calls. Made the whole process so smooth. We went to Autopark because they had the car with the options (specially Apple car play) we were looking for. Sale price could have been little better. Some of the papers had to be signed (wet ink), not sure why docusign was not available. But they did overnight the papers so in the end everything worked out fine. read more

I was in a car accident on Easter where my car (Nissan Maxima) was totaled. I immediately began the search for a new vehicle. I had narrowed my choices for a new car to another Maxima or an Acura TL. I initially went to the dealership, with no intention of purchasing from the dealership, to simply test drive the Acura. I met Hugh Bodenstine who took me on a test drive. Hugh was very patient with me as I was very indecisive for various reasons. He earned my trust and my business because he was personable, honest, and enthusiastic about my purchase that I didn't even know that I was going to make. This was my first time buying a Honda and my first experience with Autopark Honda. My husband and I love our Ridgeline, but the customer service at Autopark has been mediocre at best. We've had to take the Ridgeline in twice for basic warranty problems. Each time has resulted in us taking the truck back at least two more times for each issue. The first time, they had no record of us coming in at all to look at the truck and order the part so we had to repeat the process. The second time, they didn't do the job correctly. I would buy another Honda again, but not from Autopark. P.S. That commercial that comes on the radio from the General Manager, Danny Williams, stating that he gives everyone his phone number and email address... my husband and I didn't get either and that commercial just irks me. read more
