The team at Autopro, led by the owner Rabih and his partner Lino, are true professionals and the body shop staff are VERY talented. I have a precious 2002 Jaguar XJ Sport owned since new. Unfortunately I was rear ended and pushed into another car. Fortunately no material frame damage, but the front and rear were heavily damaged and thus the vehicle was totaled. I bought the car back from the insurance company and was referred to Rabih by AAA to restore it on my dime. Few shops would take this job on, but Rabih showed genuine compassion for my situation and my love of the Jaguar. He is a car guy. Due to the age of the car (22 years), it was hard to get all the necessary parts, but Rabih persisted and personally tracked down even the most difficult pieces to restore the Jaguar to "as new" condition. Some reviews say he is expensive. I am experienced in car repair and can say with authority he is priced right on the market, actually a little lower considering the EXCELLENT quality of his shop's work. Quality is critical for major repairs, or nightmares will manifest over time. My Jaguar drives perfectly and looks pristine a year later. That's what matters. read more

It was Fourth of July... I'm coming home from Burbank. I missed the exit that I was supposed to get on so I had to get off and get back on well as I was trying to do that. I'm traveling east on temple cross Fremont Street and this drunk driver slams in me coming from the other side of the road trying to do a U-turn at a street where there is no U-turn And then hit me so hard. Their bumper fell off and then they took off. I called AAA and I had them take it to one of their shops and auto pro service center was where it was taken. Scott was amazing and just a really good guy, professional and knew what he was doing. I explained to him what happened when we dropped off the car. Fast-forward to August 22 I've been without my vehicle for seven weeks. My car was brand new. It only had 599 miles on it. I haven't even made the first payment yet. I was really concerned about the damage on my car and if it would be safe, driving it again and it was giving me major anxiety. All of my fears were put to rest when I was told exactly what they're gonna do how they're gonna do it and what happens if they need to do more what happens if there's something else that needs to be done and they took it to Kia for me and had the Kia pros check off all the boxes and say that the work was done to Kia's satisfaction because this is a lease and I do have to give it back... I have nothing but the best things to say the only thing that I will say that was a little annoying and that's only because I had to keep on extending my rental car. I wasn't being kept in the loop good enough but that also had to do with my insurance so I'm not blaming that on auto pro just saying that my insurance was slammed with so many cases they weren't getting back to them and no one was getting back to me and so that's the only issue I have but that's not an auto pro situation that's my insurance company's fault I couldn't be happier with the work that was done and honestly the amount of money that was spent was an excellent value. They used nothing but brand new parts from the dealer and I feel very safe and comfortable in my vehicle if you ever have an accident or you run into a mailbox or something and you need your car repaired these are the guys to do it it looks like it's never been an accident! read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. While my daughter's car was being towed, the AAA driver recommended Rabhi. I was a little apprehensive at first because he was so kind from the start that I thought, "This might be too good to be true." But I quickly realized his kindness was completely genuine. His shop is clean, organized, and run with integrity. You can tell right away that his word is his bond. I was handling everything on behalf of my daughter, who needed to get to work, and since I live out of state and was flying back home, I wanted to make sure I was leaving her in good hands. Not only did Rabhi say he'd take care of everything, he did. He sent me home in an Uber and gave my daughter a loaner car immediately. And when her car was later deemed a total loss by insurance, Rabhi continued to let her use the loaner until she got a new one. He treated us like family from beginning to end. It's rare to find someone in this industry who is not only professional and reliable, but also deeply compassionate and honest. Rabhi is that rare exception. I can't say enough good things about him. I don't really leave reviews but this place was dogsh*t Worst shop, run by an a**hole who speaks down to you if you call him on absurdly overcharging for parts and labor. I wouldn't send someone I hate to this shop. Literally wanted double the price from any other shop. Wouldn't provide an itemized breakdown of the cost, so when I asked how much the part was they said $280...for a $85-$110 part...that's the retail cost so they probably get it cheaper. Not to mention that leaves the labor cost at $300+ for MAYBE an hour job. I only came here because AAA said I would save money, but they just hustle you with a "10% discount" (maxes out at $50) which I had to fight them for then charge you out the ass & when confronted essentially insulted me & said he can charge what he wants. Called in today to get my back light fixed and Selene answered to help me. She was super nice and told me to bring it in. I was in and out in 10 minutes and everyone on the staff was nice. I called Fiat earlier to see if they could fix it and said no until tomorrow and it would be $30. This place got me in right away and charged me $15. He also worked with me on the deductible and even did an oil change and oil filter replacement on my other vehicle for free. Saline who works the front desk was very helpful as well. After a hit and run, my car was towed to Autopro from AAA. Rabih and his assistant Katie were extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of not only all the repairs but all of the insurance questions I had as well. They did a fantastic job on fixing up my car to the point where you can't even tell where the damage was. They were also great about communicating updates and the status of the whole process. Rabih (the owner) was nice enough to even go out of his way to drive my car to me when I was finding it challenging to pick up my car with my work schedule. This guy is in business to rip you off, not help or repair anything. covid must have drained his bank account, because he is desperate. He has been running a scam with tow truck drivers for years. He bribes drivers to bring AAA customers to his shop after an accident and then impounds the car demaning over $600 for a AAA tow (AAA tows are free within 7 miles - as was mine). Then he charges $250 a day for "storage". My car sat on the street - what storage? It would have been cheaper to park it illegally and collect parking tickets @ $70 per day.... Repairs? LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL..... another joke. I had some bent side panels from a fender bender... this bozo doesn't even do this type of work. What a joke. This place is the best, and this review is WAY overdue. I've brought all my vehicles here for more than 10 years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. They have done everything from routine preventative care to rebuilds, windows, door locks and catalytic converter replacement under insurance (twice). Everything has been top notch every time. AutoPro is "Old School" in all the best ways; they are professional and friendly, reasonable in their pricing, up front and most of all, honest. They shoot straight whether news is good or not so good and that's a huge comfort when you need help. In LA, our cars are integral to everything we do from getting to work, picking up the family at LAX or taking that loooooong overdue vacation up the coast. My 93 Ford Ranger got smacked in the right rear so badly that is was "totaled" by the insurance company. The AAA tow truck driver that came to the scene recommended Autopro and I'm glad he did! My truck was taken to their Linwood location because that location of Autopro can straighten frames. Turns out my frame wasn't bent and Nino brought my dear old truck back to life! They did an amazing job of matching 28 year old paint! They were honest and easy to deal with. Rabih was always friendly and responsive. I had to do this repair out-of-pocket and their price matched all of the other estimates. They didn't try to jack up the costs and they even threw in a few extras. Rabih has been a huge help and friend to our household. We first discovered Autopro after my roommate snapped part of the driveshaft on his jeep. He provided great service and an unbeatable quote, the the driveshaft has help up well off-road. A couple months later, my girlfriend's car had a check engine light come on, and he was able to diagnose and fix the faulty valve in 24 hours, again at the best price in town. When my own Jeep's radiator cracked on I-5, I knew exactly who to call - I was back on the road within 24 hours, with a brand new radiator and a wallet still half full! He's also now worked on my project truck, replacing a few things that I didn't have the resources for. Overall we have been extremely satisfied, and have not had to return to Rabih for any of the work he has done. I have been going to Autopro for two years, so this review is long over-due. It goes without saying (but I'm sayin' it anyway), that finding a great, honest mechanic is like finding gold. Rabih and his team are the equivalent to finding giant gold nuggets in a stream. I have an old car (2004 Suzuki), but Rabih and his team have managed to keep my car going beyond what I expected. The first time I went there, I was in trouble with my car. My temperature gauge was in the red, and I went to a shop that I frequented on La Brea. Firestone was out of business and my car was dying. I checked Yelp, and discovered Autopro (it was helpful that they are AAA recommended). I got towed there, and was helped immediately by Rabih. In addition to my radiator issues, my check engine light was on. Rabih assured me that they would check everything out. The engine light issue had been an on-going problem for months. Rabih called me to let me know that my radiator needed to be replaced (not really surprised by this, given the age of my car) and that they were looking at the different codes that were causing my check engine light to go on. They figured it out, and told me that it had been fixed. Great! But after I picked up my car, and drove it around for few days, the check engine light came back on. This was not good. Especially given that I needed to have a smog check done in a few days. I knew the car would fail. So I called Rabih and told him what was going on. Brought the car back in, Rabih had it checked out again, was able to diagnose the issue further, and within a day I had the car back. No charge for the revisit and fix. My car passed the smog check and has never had this issue again - it has been two years. I could go on and on about the amazing, honest service I have received there over the last two years, but I will say this: Rabih and his team are great. They are honest, and will work hard to solve your car issues. If you need car service, I highly recommend this shop. I will continue to go to them as long as I have a car to service. read more

I have to be honest and warn people because when talking to this guy he seems really honest and trustworthy and maybe he is but also incompetent. I took my car in because it was leaking coolant and overheating visually. With fluid on the bottom of the car. When I had my car towed there he supposedly pressure tested it and replaced the radiator cap and sent me on my way. I also have to say he happened to find the brakes needed to be replaced and charged me 400 for that but when I got home and tried to drive the car the next day it kept overheating. I Inspected the car myself and found the hose that was leaking from a huge gash and repaired the car myself In a matter of hours. I'm a handy guy (ex engineer) but I'm hardly a mechanic and don't work on cars for a living. Because of this interaction I have to conclude that this guy is incompetent. Be very careful. I plane on closely inspecting the brake job as well. Because if he couldn't fix such a simple problem I wonder whether he could fix anything else. read more

Towed my car here because AAA said it was the closest location from where my car broke down and i was going to receive a discount. Pfft. 10% discount. Ended up paying a little over 400 dollars for a hose that ruptured in between the engine and the intake manifold. Ok that's fine. Tell me why they poured the WRONG engine coolant and why they didnt correctly secure the covers on my radiator? Well o.drove it for a few hours that day and all the coolant started leaking 9ut from everywhere you can think of. Since the radiator covers weren't on properly, it leaked through there and on of the hoses in front of the intake manifold. Took it back to them and they told me to go to autozone, buy more coolant, and buy new radiator covers. They said that they didnt mess with anything else so they couldn't help me. WHAT!?!? Well, not at all helpful and I learned how to fix my own car that day. Wouldnt reccomend this place at all. read more

My car was towed here following an accident, and the car was basically totaled. Initially the owner was helpful and nice, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. The shop was incredibly difficult to reach by phone over the next week, and the owner was clearly more interested in making money off of his $170 daily storage fee than he was in answering my phone and letting me know the status of my car. After about two weeks my insurance officially determined the car was totaled, and I went on my way to the W. Pico Blvd Autopro (which is 15 minutes away from my house, and where my car was towed) to retrieve my items from the car and officially turn it over to the insurance. Without telling me, Autopro moved my car to their other location in Lynwood, which is on the completely opposite side of LA, in rush hour traffic. The woman working inside the office provided terrible customer service by being rude and snarky when I said I was there to retrieve my items. She also never offered any remorse or apology for moving my car an hour away without telling me. Furthermore, when I showed up to the Lynwood Autopro location, the owner and manager of the location did not offer any remorse, and he was also rude. Overall, my experience with Autopro was incredibly frustrating and I would not recommend this place due to their terrible customer service. read more

Per AAA recommendation, I had my car towed to Autopro on Friday morning. They checked me in and in 5 minutes I was out the door. Over the weekend, Rabih and his team ran two separate diagnostics and tried to find the source of the problem (which they couldn't replicate). By Monday, they suggested I pick up the car, which was running fine. Would I love to know what's ailing my car? Sure. But what's more important is that I wasn't charged a dime for the diagnostics or the mechanic's time/labor. Rabih was courteous as could be and even kept the office open 10 minutes after closing so that I could pick up my keys. If and when I do run into these issues again, I'll certainly bring my car back to Autopro to ensure that it's in good (trusted) hands. read more

I'd been driving my work vehicle without an a/c for a few months because my previously repaired a/c panel part had expired a month after the warranty ended. Of course! And this seemingly innocuous part costs $375 (+labor) so I was on strike and determined to deal with a non functioning a/c in the heat of the summer. Until we hit the last heat wave that wouldn't quit and it seemed 90F days were here forever, thanks to climate change. One day I cracked. I just couldn't take it anymore so I contacted all 3 of the garages who have worked on my truck before to see if any of them could find a panel from a junk car and install it. There would be no warranty of course but seeing as the original panel lasted 15 years ( yes, it's an old Chevy) I figured the original panel would have an even chance of at least beating out the new (crap) Chevy part in longevity. After a week of waiting I called them all back and 1 of the 3 said something to the effect that they hadn't even looked yet and the 2nd of the 3 said they couldn't find one ( subtext had stopped looking wasn't going to happen). Ravi, the owner here, said he would cast his net of contacts further and 2 days later he called back saying he had the part and I should come by to get it installed. I did, 2 hours later it was ready and it's been working flawlessly since. What a relief. Not to mention the cost with installation was half of what the new part would have been. AAA Certified as well, so work here when new parts installed is guaranteed 2 years rather than the 1 year other garages normally have. Hats off again to the garage that gets it done! read more

I was here this past Wednesday(my only free day) with what I thought was a busted hose or radiator or SOMETHING. Expecting to pay ridiculous amounts. I recently moved to LA and I really don't have any friends here yet to give me a ride back and forth. THANKFULLY, they took the car in immediately and the owner even gave me a ride home out of the kindness of his heart. NO JOKE. Shortly after, I received a call from him and he explained that it was simply a clamp that had come loose. $5 clamp, coolant refill and an hour of labor later... I was picked up and brought back to the shop the same day to pick up my car. Honesty and quality service. The two most important things in my eyes.
