I made an appointment to see rishie to do an alignment after installing coilovers an hour before the shop closed. While doing the alignment, rishie and his partner discovered a problem with the installation on my coils. Rishie was kind enough to stay an hour longer after closing to resolve the problem and still do the alignment. In the end, I am very satisfied on how well my car turned out and drives extremely well. These guys are kinda hard to get to because for their tight 10am-5pm weekday only schedule. But after many word of mouth recommendations from various folks within the local car community and being a Tire Rack recommended installer I decided to give these guys my business. I ordered a brand new set of Dunlop Z2 Star Spec tires from Tire Rack on a Saturday and had them shipped to the shop on the following Tuesday. I bought these tires were strictly for autox use only and I had a set of rims solely for this purpose. So I decided to drop of my wheels on Monday so the tires can be installed the same day the tires will be received. Everything went smoothly the day to tires were received because they were installed and pickup that same day. I even saw a friend of mine getting his car totally transformed with a new alignment, suspension, wheels and tires. It was also really cool to see some random but familiar faces within the car community chilling and receiving services from AutoRnd. I brought in tires from Tirerack for Tesla Model S. They installed no problem, everything working perfectly at a fair price. Rishie is very cool guy who gets the idea of customer service. Seems like in this day and age that's harder and harder to find. I spoke with him for about 30 minutes while work was being done. His level of knowledge is excellent and inspires confidence. In a few minutes you're able to tell right away he's got a lot of experience in racing/tuning. I will be going back for any future needs. If in Fremont area, I would recommend without reservation. EDIT - Rishie took a look at my tuning/suspension (after some uneven wear on the inner aspect of my previous tires). To my shock, the stock tuning was quite a bit out of whack. Part of it was masked by the really grippy, 21 inch wheels and tires I had on there. When I went down to 19's (for comfort and longer lasting tires), I felt like I gave up a decent amount of ride performance. After adjusting and a second fine tuning, Rishie was able to get my car performing vastly better than it has ever performed. I currently have 19's with an all season tire performing better than 21's ever did with summer performance tire. On top of that, the car now uses less energy per mile (Wh/mile) than the 21's (expected). But, it also uses less energy than the stock tuning with 19's. I think in the summer, I am going to get a set of 21's and see how this car handles when properly tuned. I would recommend any Tesla model S owner get their suspension looked at (especially if you have 21's). If you happen to be in SF/Bay area, take it to AutoRND. These guys really did a heck of a job. read more

First off I NEVER write reviews but felt I had to let folks know about AutoRnD. I had new rims and tires mounted on my Mercedes back in August by AutoRnD. I didn't purchase either item from them and unfortunately for me and for them it was not the easiest install. The rim supplier sent the wrong lug nuts and AutoRND went beyond the call of duty, getting me setup so I could drive home while the new bolts were on order. After 5 months of driving I saw that my rear tires were already excessively worn! I made the mistake of going to another shop to have a 4 wheel alignment done prior to mounting the new tires, and they set the rear toe completely wrong! AutoRnD set the new tires, aligned the whole car and got me back on the road. Now the car rides much better and with better gas milage to boot. Rishie, the owner called me late that night to ask me how the car was handling and if I felt any difference. That's real customer service and professionalism! He's a meticulous guy, who does quality work. Sometimes it's hard to catch him, but he will get back to you as soon as he can. He's in demand because of his knowledge, attitude, and worksmanship which makes it hard to steal him away on the spot, deal with it. If you really want the best you will spare 5 minutes to wait for him just like I did. Once upon a time, I installed coilovers onto my car through a diy from my car forums. At that time, I was going to college and was on a college budget, and didn't have the money to get them professionally installed. Initially, my own install went fine, then after a while came clunking noises and alignment issues with my ride. Fast forward to last week, having a real job now, a coworker of mine recommended me to Auto RND so I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment with them. I first started going to this shop over 10 years ago when I was more into the import scene. The main reason I shopped here, was the exclusive line of high quality parts, and the excellent customer service. Well, Fast forward to the present time, not into the import scene, but I bought a 2007 Honda Fit, that hit a curb. I fixed the sub frame and I was in search of an alignment for the car. The tire looked a little off on one side of the car, so I brought it to my local Sears. They wouldn't touch it. I just wanted some data from the alignment that will be helpful when I take the car to the body shop to realign the frame. So, I looked up alignment shops and found out AutoRnd is 2 blocks away from my work now. Cool, I make the appointment and get there, only to find out, Rishie, the owner is doing the alignment. I was surprised, and I told him what happened to the car. It goes on there Hunter alignment rack, and he corrected what ever he could do from his part. But the most important thing his machine captured how many inches my car was off by. With that important info, I was able to take it to the body shop to correct the front alignment. Even if you don't have a modified car, you can still come here for an quality alignment service, or even getting tires here. Why waste your time at Sears or other alignment shops that just goes for quantity of cars and not quality of service. read more

Came in to inquire about an old 5.0 drift 240sx that autornd built. I ended up going a different direction with a GM iron block, but I was here for almost an hour. Let me say this...Rishie and his guys are AWESOME. Everyones really chill/friendly. Rishie actually ended up giving me a mini-tour of the cars in the garage (TRUST ME, SO F***ING SICK.) I really had to create a yelp account just to write a review for these guys. I contacted Rishie through Email to get a quote and he answered a ton of my questions quickly. When I got to Auto RnD, the showroom for customers was huge and there's a TV for customers as well. Rishie was kind enough to offer to put on a movie for me while I was waiting. While he was working on my car, he came back periodically to show me what was wrong with my suspension, but I never once felt pressured by him to fix incorrectly installed parts, instead, he kindly asks if you want him to fix it or not. I really cannot say enough about my first experience here, Rishie is quick to start a friendly conversation with his customers and he's been in the game for 20+ years, so he's really knowledgeable. He also cares about your own safety and others on the road, unlike other shops who want to get the job done quick and cut corners. I have been to other 4/5 star shops and my ride quality has never been this good after getting work done here. He was able to get the exact fitment I wanted in one go as well, to avoid additional costs for me.
