It's very unfortunate but the quality of service received from best auto has been terrible and just a total nightmare. I signed an financed a vehicle ( 2015 Black Dodge Journey) not even 3days after driving the vehicle off the lot , it began having major transmission problems "check engine light " went off tripping a code indicating *transmisson control solenoid *transmisson filter A/T *transmisson torque converter When I went back to return vehicle:per contract under the 500 mile marker- Yvonne insisted no don't worry your vehicle is still under warranty we will fix it . Schedule me an appointment for service - when I dropped off vehicle I only had it 7days. The services dept kept it over the weekend til The following weds totaling(5days)- THEN !Not even 2 days after - that same week Friday the vehicle began doing it again -even worst then the first time ( no torque not accelerating red lining ) check engine light back on !! At this point I'm very concerned and address it with Yvonne ( keep in mind I can't blame her she not the mechanic--however she did assure me it supposed to be fixed ) so now for the second time NOT EVEN having the vehicle for only 2 weeks - it's gotta go back in the shop for service. Keep in mind at this point I have a payment due and haven't even had a chance to drive it - LET JUST SAY NIGHTMARE I haven't woke up yet !!! ITS NOT been 24 days since the day I drove it off the lot - AND THE VEHICLE IS STILL IN THE SERVICE DEPT - TIL TODAY - going on 7days straight now sitting at 39ave service shop!!!!! I MEAN SERIOUSLY-- AS THE OWNER !! Unfortunately I can only put blame on MANAGEMENT!!! It was in the next day and we took the car for a test drive. They gave me more than expected for my trade. The car does not have all the toys, bells and whistles available, but that is not why I wanted that particular car. We are very happy with our purchase. When I asked for the corporate phone number so I could escalate my concerns, I was simply told to "Google it." That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially when a customer is already dealing with a serious issue. I've spent more time chasing answers than receiving help. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend DriveTime. Customers deserve honesty, accountability, and respectful service, not to be dismissed when they're trying to resolve a problem.

Bonus: the picture of the car online actually matched what the car looked like in person. No "from this angle you can't see the huge scratch down the side of the entire car" shots. What you see is what you get. When I followed up on the sole issue with the car (a windshield replacement that was included with the car purchase due to a chip in the one it came with) I received a prompt response including confirmation that the title and plate were sent - plus an ask for me to let him know that we received it. That's not something you'll EVER get from a big name dealership. I will absolutely come back to Cody and his team should I ever be in the market for another car. (That would be a brokering deal, which they also do!)

On Saturday he finally texted me, asking "When I am picking up my truck?" I then ask him to send me the details of the approval as a normal process of financing a car. The sales rep responded "explain" I then clarified " how much monthly payment is and for how long?" He then said " Give me a few I am with a customer" No response. Then Tuesday came around and he asked if I am picking up my truck today because hes going to put the truck back on the market. I then again asked for the information I requested on Saturday. Which he then responds " IDK what the payments are. What are you expecting to pay?" I had to explain to him that I submitted a credit app for his creditor to tell me how much I need to pay and for how long? Otherwise why would they run my credit? His only response was " My boss said your deposit was good till yesterday, come get your deposit." SKETCHY company. My partner was furious and called the manager, who told him " its like crying over spilt milk." I provided them my information and they ran my credit for no reason. I've actually had this car for over a year now and it's as perfect as the day I bought it. His warranties seem different also. Example - I took it in for an oil change.
