I had a fault a sensor fault in my car that my previous mechanic could not diagnose and was referred for a specialist appointment that was months away. Other mechanics gave me similar unuseful answers. Called autotek on a friend's recommendation and they got me in within a week and found frayed wiring and a bad sensor. Eventually, we figured out the ECM was bad and it took me a month to find the right part after multiple bad ones. They let me keep the car there the entire time and never gave me any issues. After a regular service check-up at a local car dealership that I had taken my van to since purchase and getting a quote for $4888.00 in suggested services, I went to Autotek for a second opinion. The dealer ship recommended new rear shocks and front struts. Autotek could not detect usual wear and by checking Carfax, the struts and shocks only had 22,000 miles since last replacement. Many of the suggested services by the dealership were needed but accomplished at a more reasonable price. I agree with other reviews reporting friendly, honest and professional service. read more

Today, I got my Honda back from Thor's Auto Repair, who fixed the mess Autotek created in June of 2021. He put on OEM mounts. Autotek opted to put on aftermarket that didn't work, then told me that they didn't work and OEM would be necessary, and ultimately blamed me after my car was vibrating/making way more noise than it had been upon arrival with original, cracked mounts. My car is purring like a kitten now, and Thor is awesome. I wish I had never stepped foot into Autotek. It took nearly one year for me to find a mechanic and have the strength to go in, largely due to the gaslighting tactics of Autotek. What a nightmare, and what a waste of money. I had to buy a new car due to this behavior. Not a fun time to buy a car and unecessary. Admitting when you do something wrong is important. I still can't believe what this shop did. Caused damage to accelerator pedal, which could have caused a wreck. It wouldn't move at times, which caused the car to accelerate unpredictably. Geez. Then, it was thrown back into place in a rough manner by Zach, who was less than happy to see me and had no idea how it happened. After that, there was leaking coolant, which was right nearby the place he was hitting on the car to readjust what they had damaged. I hadn't driven my car except to my home, which is very close to their shop and back. In fact, it hasn't been driven much since I left their shop. Possibly 100 miles. Alex told me I was lucky I could afford auto care. Being disabled and on SSDI doesn't feel lucky. So much inappropriate stuff was said. Do yourself a favor, stay away! Find an inclusive shop where customers are all treated fairly. I absolutely have proof that I wasn't treated right. This place treated me rudely, but mainly, was inept. They tried to get me to consent to looking at this balance shaft. It would have cost $360, and the word shaft would have been even more important. I know mechanics have busy schedules, but when they mess up, they have to take the call. read more

I went to Zack and Autotek International based on my sister's long-time service, opinion and recommendation of his shop. While I'm grateful he's working with me being on disability income, the whole thing has been a nightmare. Every deadline has been missed and there's been little communication unless I call him. Repairs have been delayed for various reasons, but the story changes slightly every time I call to find out what's going on. Zack did a whole bunch of work to my old Buick this past summer. Replaced the entire AC system, valve cover gaskets, a couple computer modules, shocks all around, transmission fluid flush, and even made sure that some fans were working and turning on when they were supposed to. 6 months later and his work has held up. A friend and I struggled all afternoon to get it out (the car battery was obstructing it). He would not take anything for the work. Zack has worked wonders on my car and made it run better than it has over the 10 years that I have owned it. This is a little frustrating since I've spent so much time and money over those years trying to make it run smoother and he did it so quick and cheap. He apparently has a different business model than other mechanics: 'get it done right and charge a fair price in order to get people to refer you to others', as opposed to 'charge too much for a shotty job so that you'll have to come back again and again until you give up'. I really recommend this shop. Zach is fantastic, he handled my VW GTI perfectly and was willing to explain every detail of the problem with me who know nothing about car! I made a mistake by letting an unprofessional mechanic changed the engine, and after spending so much money, the car wasn't running perfectly. I then towed the car to Auto Tek International (that I know from Yelp), after discussing the problem through phone with Zach. Zach fixed everything, even he could find out the problem that caused the check engine light on (I brought my car to the dealership, yet they could identify this).
