I…read morehave actually tried to do my own tire rotations but it's about a million times easier to take it in to someone with all the good equipment (especially power tools). Not only is it easier, but Discount Tire doesn't charge anything for this service, which is super nice. There are times that this line can get insanely long. When I came in the other day, it was all the way out the door. I am not even kidding. However, you could tell that everyone working was busy and trying their best so I am not even remotely bothered by this. The girl that greeted me and took my keys had a smile on her face and was one of the nicest people I have ever come across. She was super transparent about certain things costing extra and didn't make me feel pressured into buying extra things. The guy that checked me out at the end was not only super nice but actually walked me out to my car to make sure my Jeep was all squared away. Everything was done right and I appreciate the care they take with my Jeep. I don't trust just anyone with my Jeep but I most definitely trust this location. The last time I was in, they misplaced two of my caps but then they were replaced this time around. They aren't the same color anymore but it's better than nothing. Yet they still didn't follow best practices, they didn't torque my wheels (I did when I got to the next campground). I didn't think about looking at the air pressures, the pressure they should be at is 110 PSI cold and they set them to ~85 PSI on both. That could've costed me my trailer. Knowledgeable and well equipped, he had everything he needed and just got to work. Pleasant and kind, he engaged in conversation when I initiated and just kept working when I didn't. Happy to have them back for the next go around! The only criticism I would offer is he didn't bring coffee and bagels, because that's the only way I could see this experience being better than it was. Pricing was fair, a little higher than some discounted tire shops, 100% acceptable given the convenience of using his fuel to come right to my house and I could just go about my morning. I purchased three tires from Rocky Mountain ATV, two in one size and one in another. One of the…read moretires they shipped was the wrong size. Mistakes happen, and I had no problem with that. My problem was how Rocky Mountain ATV handled their mistake. They would not immediately process the return because they first wanted to verify with their shipper that the wrong tire had actually been sent. They also refused to ship the correct tire until I returned the incorrect one. I explained that we were leaving town soon and that getting the replacement was time sensitive, but that made no difference. If I had ordered the wrong tire, I could understand being required to complete the return before a replacement was shipped. But Rocky Mountain ATV shipped the wrong product. In that situation, I would expect the company to take responsibility for the error, immediately send the correct tire, and deal with the return of the incorrect tire separately. The shipping mistake would not have affected my opinion of the company. The way they handled it did. Good customer service is often defined by how a company responds when something goes wrong, and in this case Rocky Mountain ATV made their mistake my inconvenience.

The person I did work with when I got through was kind and polite. But it took 22 minutes after 20 minutes in chat. Well, that's some serious BS. You don't get to take the money first and then make me jump through hoops to get the product. You *can* take my card because you did. You had to refund it. Then I had to buy with Paypal. Absurd. It makes zero sense. If you are worried about fraud, maybe don't run my card in the first place. Buyer beware. I have never met an online retailer who made it this hard to give $1000 of my hard-earned American dollar until yesterday. I spent an hour of my day dealing with this.
