Some of the BEST customer service I have ever encountered at any store here in So, Calif. I bumped into Noah, who was helping out a lady in your parking lot, and asked him to help me.....a less than mobile senior.....to determine which bulb I needed for my headlight. Not only did he do this, but he removed the old dead one and replaced it with a new one which I bought there at Auto Zone. Who does that any more? Made a huge mistake going in there today usually, the young man with the longest hair is pretty bright and bubbly and helpful but today he wouldn't even look at us. You could just feel that something bad happened like maybe the boss chewed him out or something. I tried to order a part and he immediately tried to upsell me by at least $15-$20 more. Then when I refused to get those parts, he just walked away and started searching for him and then put them in a box with a different name on it, and it just freaked me out. I was being treated about the upmost disrespect. I don't know what the heck has happened to AutoZone but it's like the employees hate being there and they don't want you there either and when I voiced my concern about them putting this part in a wrongly labeled box and I had concerns about returning it both him and the girl they ganged up on me and started arguing. It was at that point I completely walked away and left about $400 worth of product on the table. if he's so gosh, dang unhappy to be there maybe he should just leave already. Of what I really didn't appreciate was the young lady in there smart enough and smiling saying have a nice day and a very condescending smart ass tone. For an establishment that offers so many services and markets great customer service it's disappointing to come in and be let down time and time again. I am mostly disappointed in the managers, who barely acknowledge that you are in the store and are clearly annoyed when you ask for assistance. 5s Thank to the store manager Karla. I came in to replace my bad battery for my 02 Toyota Camry. The employee helped me install the new one but we did not know that my car needed to be idled after installing the new battery. Karla the manager handled the situation extremely professionally and was able to get a mechanic near by to help idle the car, within minutes my car was back to running perfect again. I had to replace the light bulb in my left rear taillight. I had no idea how to do this and changing the bulb was another problem! I wanted to say THANK YOU to Bob, who not only changed the bulb, he didn't make me feel like a helpless idiot. He was professional and courteous and in my opinion went above and beyond selling me just the lights. I recommend this store to ANY PERSON who might need help with simple fixes. This place has the worst customer service period. I went in to return a part that has a life time warranty on saturday. They did not have the part there. So they had to order it and it would be there today. The lady that helped me set up the warranty Deana "if thats her real name" took my broken part and gave me a copy for me to come back to retrieve the new one. She even said if I ask for her she will remember and make my exchange easy. I came back today without my copy at first because l was in the area to pick it up. I waited till she could help me so I can explaine why I didn't bring the copy. She did remeber me and grabbed the part I was waiting for then asked me for the broken one. Then I told her I left it here with her yesterday. Then told me it is impossible they dont take parts in before exchanging. I thought maybe I took it with me and maybe I'm in the wrong so I said I will look and come back. So I did the part was no where to be found but I did find the receipt. Since I found the receipt that she wrote me l came back down because I thought it might help her remember. Well it didn't help at all I escallated it to a manager because she was no help.The manager then told me exactly what she was saying. While she said snotty remarks. At that point I was upset because they made me feel like I was the one to blame. so at that point I asked for corporates number to complaine about there service. I will never come back here because there moto to Lifetime warranty means dont trust me I will forget what I said to you yesterday. I hope the best for AutoZone I'm sure other locations are better. Today I went to auto zone in Beaumont ca to buy the only can of color match paint they had and I needed. I got it home and the paint shot out in huge drops. I tried to get it to work but wasn't happening. Drove back to the store. The gentleman asked what I needed. I told him the paint can didn't spray correctly and wanted to return it. He had the audacity to tell me I used half the can. Told him I tried to get it to work and yeah when it comes out in globs slot comes out. He told me a few times I used half the paint. I told him I'd bring it back but it was on a piece of wood at my house. Bottom line is I got my money back but this guy should have never said what he said to me.
