Wow I am grateful that AutoZone employees were working today on the 4th of July but I'm also sorry that they didn't get a day off to be with their family and friends. I'm grateful because they had the ignition module that fixed my old car and they were open. The staff is very knowledgeable about most any parts your car desperately needs to keep your life going. I bought a relay for my daughter's car this morning. I was told I could return it if it didn't work. It didn't work. I pulled it out and sent it back with my daughter. They said the wrong relay was in the box. They accused me of swapping it out. With what. They could have easily checked that her headlights are not working still. I'm pissed. I will not be buying from that SFB outfit again. Maybe their mechanics do crap like that? I take pride in the fact I have never stole a thing in my life. read more

AutoZone is typically my go to parts store. However on my last visit I was harassed in the parking lot by Cedar City Police while attempting to diagnose a problem with my vehicle. When I refused to allow officers consent to search my vehicle with no probable cause they told me they could do so with consent of the business owner/manager. The officers supposedly obtained consent from the manager on duty on 6/14/2023 and proceeded to perform a k9 search of my vehicle, which ultimately produced nothing illegal. I feel AutoZone management participated in violating my rights and I would rather walk a few miles to Tinks Napa store and spend a little more in a part than be given parts free of charge from AutoZone. read more

I love I love Yelp for the fact that I'm making a list and I'm naming names! We must give credit where credit's due West call out the ones that are not being cool to people. My check engine light came on on the way back from Colorado on my way to Vegas and AutoZone is known for checking your engine light with a sensor to see what's going on. I walked in was greeted by a nice guy named Raul who I told I needed my engine light checked you came outside and checked it then took me inside a told you what was going on with it and what I could do to fix it if I needed to in spite of another employee named Merrill who's yelling at a customer and then when we were looking at him because he waa still continuing to yell after the guy walked out and he told Raul to do his damn job, it was so rude. I'm really getting fed up with people using their Authority and their power over people especially when they're using their voice in a aggressive manner we must treat others we want to be treated straight up it's the Golden Rule! read more

Store is kept clean and everything is as it should be. Typical auto-zone store. We came in to dump some old oil. Went and stood at the counter and waited a while before being helped. 3 employees in the store, only one of them helping someone else. Not one person at the front counter. Seems to be a lack of direct customer service. Once we were helped, the young man assisting us was very nice and helpful. Manager Michael Heaton needs to work on how he speaks to employees in front of customers. He was Very rude and short to one of the staff that asked a simple question. He didn't even make eye contact with anyone. This is just based off my personal experience at this specific store, any other auto-zone I have been to has been helpful and customer oriented as soon as you walk in. read more

Car power steering went out on a road trip home from SLC to LV! Every shop closed within miles, luckily autozone was open. Sean came out and helped me look at the power steering fluid! He saw it was low and dark. Went straight in his shop, got fluid and filled it for me, treated us very kindly. I recently moved to Cedar City from California. The staff at this store go out of their way to be helpful and make sure you get the proper parts. Cody went out of his way to help me pull apart my headlights and make sure we were getting the right bulbs to fix the problem! Two thumbs up... I'd give more but I only have two thumbs to give! The employees at this Autozone are great! I came to the store with the intent to buy a new battery, since my previous one was giving me trouble. The employees were quick to help. Meryl, the one that helped me, was great! Before I spent $150+ on a battery, he wanted to test my old one to make sure. After I purchased the battery, he helped to install it, walking me through it all to make sure it was good to go. I would, without a doubt, recommend this shop to everyone! read more

Cars are so mind boggling to me. The fact that you have to depend on something so much is so scary. What if it breaks down? You can't get anywhere. Well, that's what happened to me a few days ago. A light came up on my dashboard back in August and I didn't really think much of it but unfortunately the light never left my dashboard. We take a lot of road trips as a family, often across country so it's so important to have a happy and healthy vehicle. We bought a used 2014 Ford E-450 with approximately 523k miles on it. The reason why we made such a big jump in our automobile is because we expanded our family so wide and had to have a car that would sit at least 13 passengers. Upon the purchase, we knew we needed to make a few updates in order to increase the value. We installed a Pioneer stereo with a USB hookup. My kids were thrilled! Anyways, one day on our way to a restaurant, our (what we thought- trustee car) broke down! We stopped at autozone to figure out what was happening. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a really welcoming person. They immediately inspected our car and were able to dissect the situation and diagnose the proper prescription needed to fix our car. They said supposedly the car went 4 years with no oil change and the battery was about to die. They quickly replaced all necessary accessories and offered us soda pops and lays chips! My only complaint, and I know- this isn't really applicable- but the restroom was kind of messy and didn't have toilet paper. read more

I've always had really good luck with this Autozone location. Anytime I am visiting my family that lives in the area, I almost always end up working on something that is needing attention. Over the last several years, the service at this store had been well above the norm for an AZ... It's too bad you can't get service to match theirs down in Vegas. In fact, in recent years, AZ has gotten worse as a whole. Good to see there is at least one store that still has good service, knowledge people and decent stock of parts for older vehicles as well as later models. Hopefully Autozone will take a look at the way their business is being run today and start offering their people better pay and benefits to attract and retain quality individuals such as the ones found in this store. I believe that is their issue. I like low prices as much as the next but not at the cost of ignorant and rude service which seems to be the status quo with Autozone lately as a whole. read more

Had a terrible experience here! I was making a long trip and a warning light had come on and I needed to make sure my car was working properly in order to make the drive. The MANAGER of the store was very impatient and not willing to let me stay in the store 5min after closing(even though I got there 25min before closing) and threatened to call the police on me if I didn't leave the store. I kept telling the manager that I needed to make sure the item I was purchasing was correct or my engine could fail/explode and that I would be purchasing something soon and leaving as soon as I could. He then proceeded to threaten me with kicking me out of the store and calling the police on me! They were not helpful and just wanted to get me out of the store as soon as possible! read more
