I took it to the dealer, who wrote me up a service order for $2600. I suspected that Matt's could beat that price. That worried me a little, but when I got there, he had my truck up on the lift, and showed me that all 4 items the dealer said needs replacing, were sound and didn't need repair or replacement at all. Saved me $2600 (less the cost of the shocks that he pointed out were in poor condition..and then almost all the road noise went away!). That sure cemented me to use only Matt's. Brought my cargo trailer in prior to a long road trip, and I wanted them to check everything out. They did, and when I offered to pay, he said "No charge. Didn't take us long, and you're a good customer..." or something like that. I am a mechanical idiot, but they never talk down to me, or make me feel stupid. And I always get a fair price from them. Yeah, I heard your list of demands the first time. I have been pulled over with less consternation then what this tech was displaying. I simply replied, "No, I think I will go someplace else."
