I have never been an automobile person, but within my community, it's evident that a lot of the residents here fix their own cars which require a lot of car parts and services. AutoZone does provide exceptional customer service unlike O'Reillys. AutoZone does provide the same automobile parts like most automotive parts store. But I do have to say, their employee at the AutoZone at this location was pretty above average. I walked in. They welcomed me and one of the female employees was very observant that I was lost looking for an item which she directed where I needed to go and within seconds, I was checking out or as it took me five minutes at O'Reillys and yet they never made any contact with me. I should've known better from past experiences to bring all my automobile needs to AutoZone, which I will have to remember for future. This was my first time visiting AutoZone Auto Parts off Mitchell Road, and I was seriously impressed. The location is super convenient with plenty of easy parking, and the store itself was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. I went in needing replacement windshield wiper blades for my truck. The wait time was minimal, and I was helped right away by Jessi at the counter. She asked for my truck's make and model, and after I gave her the info, she even asked if I had it with me so she could double-check and make sure she got the right fit. That alone was impressive--but it gets better. Jessi actually came outside with me, confirmed the correct blades, gave me pricing options, and personally installed them for me on the spot! Can't say enough with the workers that work here. Helped me out a lot. Various times yes there is a long wait, maybe 2 people working and like 5 customers waiting , but either I leave and come back later or stick around if I really need a part. Last few days. This young girl. With black long hair, was really helpful. Helped with my exchanges and helped get me my parts. She's able to multitask and help me and other customers at the same time, while giving everyone the great customer service without feeling rushed out. Don't know her name. But she's good on searching for parts and helping others. This and the parts store across the street are my only go to shops. Ones on hatch, I try to avoid at all costs. Last week I was in a little bit of trouble. I was on my way to Merced coming from Reno, Nv. But on the way there my alternator gave out. I called O'riellys, and they didn't have one. I called the autozone on hatch rd, they didn't have it. But the told me that the store on Mitchell rd had it. So I called them up, I was helped by Rigo, (I think that's what his name was). I told him my situation, and he was kind enough to bring me the part, as I had no means of transportation. I don't know what I would've done without his help. read more

Wow never returning here Came in cause my light from my license plate was out and asked the young kid who was working there was telling him what happened and that I needed a bulb for that and the whole minute I was talking he was uh huh, uh huh. Like wtf. That's fucken rude. Don't freaken say that while someone is talking, listen then say what needs to be done or whatever. Next I asked if they can install it. He automatically said if it's hard then no but if it's easy then yes. Wtf you don't say that to a customer. Not only did the one of them come out to help me figure out what went out (one of my indicator lights) but when I asked how hard it is to replace the other one went and grabbed a screwdriver and came outside and replaced it for me! If I could this Auto Zone zero stars on customer service I would. I went in to return sparkplugs that my husband had purchased earlier and was given the wrong ones. The young guy (Alexis) took forever cause apparently he couldn't find the right ones in his system when he compared them with the old one that I took in. He had to use a different year model in order to find the right ones. Then when I made the exchange he tried to charge me $6 more when they were the exact same price as the ones that I had returned. I refused to pay for them and ask for my money back which he gave me back with an attitude saying that it had been my fault for giving him the wrong year model of my car. The stupid young kid is such an idiot that thinks I don't know what year my car is lol. Either their is a glitch in their system or he has no idea what he is doing cause after having this car for many years how is he going to argue with me in regards to my own car lol. Worst customer service and corporate is definitely getting a call from me tomorrow morning. These young punks that think they know it all are giving Auto Zone a bad reputation and you best believe that I will never go back there again. read more

I used to frequent this place as I live about a half mile from it. They seem to change staff frequently also and I can see why. I've gone in there several times to wait in line for a part behind the counter while the other workers could have offered to help but instead chose to bullshit and sharpen their pencils. I like the life time warranty Autozone has on their parts, but I can drive a bit further to O'riely and get fast help. Maybe I should bring a chair and a beer in next time and practice my karaoke. Really wouldn't give any stars for customer service. I own 3 cars and for years I have gone to autozone for parts. Spent alot of money here. Today my husband went to exchange his battery he purchased 1 yr ago and they couldn't find it in the system. 2nd time this has happened to us in 3 months. We always buy our batteries at autozone. They are Duralast. Batteries are not cheap. But autozone parts seem to be. Point being they wouldn't exchange it die to it not showing under our phone number it was purchased there. We were told the thw Store manager is the only one that can override but doesn't work Sundays. So we lost. Needed a battery today not tomorrow. All because someone that makes minimum wage inputted the phone number wrong twice (seems like a scam) the consumer lost. I wouldn't recommend you make sure the warranty shows up before leaving the store. read more

I had a problem with my alternator and had to have it changed. I had a life time warranty through auto zone. I went into this store just to be handed a "new" alternator that didn't work. I had to go to 5 different auto zones and not one of them could give me an alternator that worked! I ended up being told by one of the employees to go to a different store to buy one. I am very upset I had to go pay out of pocket just because an auto store doesn't have parts that actually work! I wouldn't go to this place if I were you. read more
