For what it's worth...I typically prefer to patronize brick and mortar business over the internet to help people keep their jobs. But when something like this happens, you begin to understand why customers who are ignored start to go elsewhere or online. I walked in to two employees at the counter...the first was a young man in a red uniform shirt helping a young lady customer, and the other much older man with gray hair and glasses doing something behind the counter. I stand there for a good 3-4 mins and no one acknowledged me..a "be right with you" would have sufficed, instead the older man seen me standing there waiting ignores me and tells the young employee: "I'll be in the back" and walks away. Nothing rubs customers the wrong way more than being ignored! I let the young employee know about my dissatisfaction and he apologized...I told him I didn't blame him...he was already with another customer...the other guy however, specially if he is a supervisor, just taught the younger employee a bad lesson. Been coming here for over 15 years, never had a problem till today, but I had to deal with the most arrogant and ignorant person I've ever met by the name of CJ the way she acted and clearly lack of hygiene smelling like onions and alcohol. After asking four times for assistance while she was on her own personal phone call ignoring me then decided to snap back and yell at me saying "I'll get somebody there when I can"!as she's on the phone with a personal phone call still. Then i told the nice gentleman who ended up helping me and ringing me that this was bad customer service (he agreed and gave me her name) then she yelled across the store "I'm CJ and no one cares about your complaints haha bye..." Nobody cares so here I am making my report hoping she's never at that location again so me and my employees can continue to go there comfortably.Like I said I'll be coming here for over 15 years so have my employees but it looks like we may have to start going somewhere else after CJ and her outburst and ignorance today. This message is in regard to the amazing service we received today from Richard at Auto Zone. My son and I needed a jump start because our battery had died in the same parking lot as AutoZone. We put the hood up and waited for someone that looked like they could help us. After asking and getting denied several times, we decided to go inside Auto Zone and ask for help. That is when the dear Lord sent us RICHARD! I prayed we'd have someone to help us and in a jiffy he used a small battery box and got our car running in no time! I stopped at this location this morning to inquired about a gas cap and skidd plate bolts. I was hopping to find someone with more knowledge than just charging me for a product and thankfully Richard the manager showed up and he went above and beyond proving me with excellent customer service, which is rarely now a days. He came outside to check and test the part and also use a code reader to ck the lights on my panel to see if his computer will give him a code to confirm that was the part I needed. Spent minutes in the store trying to decide which one would fit my car best, and thankfully, Anthony S was able to help me pick out the best set of low beam headlight bulbs! He even offered to change them for me which saved me so much time. When he was changing them out the lightbulbs, he also noticed that there was corrosion on my car battery that I was completely unaware of and thankfully he was able to help pick out the best cleaning kit for corrosion on car batteries as well. Wow! Gabriel was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! I came into AutoZone because my battery was dead and needed a new one. Well it turns out my battery's terminal was basically all messed up because of the corrosion from my battery! Gabriel struggled for a while but after an hour of not giving up, he successfully installed my new battery! Talk about tenacity! I really appreciated Gabriel's help. When I started my car the other day, a warning came up and said change oil immediately. I had been wanting to get my car in for an oil change along with my fluids and water being checked because of all this heat. I just didn't make the time. So when this warning came up I knew it needed immediate attention. I drove over to AutoZone on Ontario Avenue in Corona. When I entered the store, Anthony promptly welcome me and asked me if I needed help. I told him what had happened and he said he would be happy to help. I purchased some oil and we went outside to my car. Anthony checked my oil and confirmed I was low; not only did Anthony put the oil in the car but he also checked all my other few fluids to make sure they were good. Auto Zones Durlast gold battery warranty is false and misleading as they will not honor the three-year replacement unless they have the purchaser phone number on file regardless of the product being defective. Returned a Duralast gold battery that was installed by a mechanic to Auto Zone. Auto Zone tested the battery removed and confirmed it was bad and the manufacture date label of 12/20 qualifying it for a free replacement under the three-year replacement warrenty. Auto Zone then refused to honor the warranty based on I did not know the phone number it was purchased under. Just another warranty that covers all of nothing that is not disclosed in Auto Zones battery warranty advertizing. read more

Poor management and lack of supervision. Very bad attitude of the the counter boy. Came in twice today from some minor items but the service was very poor. On the first visit I was left standing by my self at check out with no one around for several minutes. When someone came from the back the helped a phone customer prior to checking me out. Second visit a short time later I noticed there were no trash cans anywhere. I wanted to drop an empty water bottle with no place to leave it. I asked the counter boy why there were no trash cans and he said they were taken out by management because there was too much trash being dumped in them. I asked where I could leave my water bottle and he said I would have to find a dumpster somewhere or go tot he market. I told him to let the manager know that I felt that was not very customer friendly and he basically said he didn't care. I told him he would loose customers if they didn't remedy the trash situations and he said "I don't think so. ". I told him yes you will, you just lost me. I think It's uncalled for that customers have no place to put packages or containers after making purchases at the store and using the products ie windshield wipers, washer fluid, air freshener etc. Obvious example of someone and a manager who doesn't care about the customer. My suggestion is if there is too much trash have the employees dump it more often!!!! Simple fix. I don't need to shop here and you lost a good customer. Shop at Walmart next door. read more
