I had a nail in my tire, so AAA put my spare on & told me it needed a patch. I showed up at the Indio store, 30 mins before they closed. They couldn't fix my tire on the spot, but Jennie offered to take my tire & have it fixed the next day, while I was at work. When I finally showed up to have it mounted, Mario had me out the door in less than 20 minutes. I wasn't even charged for the tire patch, which is not common these days. At 4:45pm on Saturday, Christmas weekend 2025, I realized My right rear tire was flat and partially damaged from evidentially driving on it for a little time. AAA gave me a maybe 45 minute response time if they could locate me in La Quinta , they said. I remembered American Tire Depot from a previous tire issue on my daughter's car. So I called and talked to the manager, Mario Romero who answered the phone. I explained my issue but he said they were going to close at 5:00 pm , their weekend close up time. I said I was getting an air input from a nice guy who saw my predicament but it would be at least 20-30 minutes before I could get to the store location. Mario said it was a problem because he would have to see if he could get one of the shop men to stay and replace or repair the tire. But yes , he would stay and the shop would be able to get my Lexus back in drivable condition if I was on the way in 10 minutes. When I arrived at 5:25 i got a big smile and a warm welcome along with a prompt response to getting the repair going. In 25 minutes i was ready to return home a very relieved man as was my entire family. I cannot thank Mario and American Tire Depot, Indio, enough this "second" time on a holiday weekend. Wouldn't bring my vehicle here. I booked an appointment for an inspection of my suspension for 5:30pm. Showed up at 4:45 and was told it would take more than 2 hours to inspect and they closed at 6pm. Doesn't make sense why they would allow for an appointment at 5:30pm knowing they closed at 6pm. Also with my other vehicle I got new tires and they didn't properly air up two of them and refused to add air since they were working on another vehicle already. Extremely disappointing experience. I dropped my car off at 12 PM for two new tires and an alignment, and they didn't have it ready until the next morning. On top of that, the alignment wasn't even done correctly -- the car still drifts as soon as I drive. To make matters worse, the service was obnoxiously expensive for the poor quality and wasted time.
