Called this autozone prior to picking up a part. Paid about 30$ for an uber thinking I would pick up my part because they said they would put it on hold. Turns out they didn't have it and didn't even bother to make sure. Both managers at the time were Daisy and Kevin. They told me that unfortunately the part wasn't there and they hadn't checked prior to me coming. I was so frustrated and to top it off, all their employees were just hanging out, talking for a cool 5 mins not doing anything, while I waited for another uber to the next autozone. I write this review after great service from Keith O who helped me a while back. Helped me locate some parts and got the right stuff. Very knowledgeable guy! I write it now with 5 stars after a nasty encounter with a wannabe mechanic at M&M tires. I asked the obnoxious mechanic to install some parts I had rotors and brakes. The head tire guy said, "I noticed your parts are from Auto Zone, I don't deal with them because they 'F' everything up!". He also said that the caliper slider pins I need would be hard t find at O'Reilly because they hire a bunch of kids right out of high school who don't know anything. Wow, the sales rep I went to today knew exactly what pins I needed at O'Reilly and Keith provided some of the best service I've received ever from anywhere. Being at Auto Zone, I can say Keith knew far more than the nasty obnoxious tire mechanic at M&M. I wanted to review Auto Zone once again with 5 stars because there are some awesome people there willing to help rather than soak customers. read more

We went there this morning to get an LED light bar harness and the only man wearing a grey shirt happened to be to he man my guy asked about this product... He didn't see any on the floor and usually in that case we ck with someone so they can find a store that gas what we are looking for.. He asked this guy and he says yes they should be over there n when my guy states that he couldn't find one can he please ck inventory, he actually said no... I came in to pick up a headlight bulb for my car. Went straight to the counter to ask which bulb I need. Jovanny assisted me. Went out, to, look at my headlight. After purchasing the bulb, the guy asked if I need help installing. There's all these things, that, you have to remove to even get to the connector with my car. He took car of it in about 5 to 10 minutes. It would've taken me an hour. I'm grateful. I was helped by a gentlemen named Brian. As I was pulling up to the store he was finishing up with a customer outside and he held the door for me. Like most people I assumed I knew what was wrong with my car "google genius" I went up to the register and told him what was going on with my back light and gave him my diagnosis as to why it wasn't working. He asked a few questions and he said it could be your bulb. I was like "ok" still thinking it was my fuse but low behold it was my bulb. He changed it also added bulb grease. Auto zone what can I say it's a hit or miss here and all the other auto parts store, you go in for there expertises opinions and depending on how you get behind the counter is how's expertise you're going to get but most of the time you ask them for information on the problem you have with your car and all they tell you is to google it or YouTube it, I understand they are professional mechanics but you do work at a auto parts store it would help if they were knowledgeable in the industry they work in, with that said they do have some good knowledgeable workers but most of the time there too busy helping someone else or don't really care cause you weren't lucky enough to get them ,that's why it's a hit or miss in these auto parts stores but most specially here at AutoZone!! read more

I give four stars to past employees and zero stars for the current employees. They did not have the customer's back. The self proclaimed "manager" Jennifer(when I asked her name she turned away from me, trying to hide it) at Turnbull Canyon location gaslit me. Refused to cancel my transaction and give me my parts and receipt back. The only reason I didn't grab my stuff and go is because she had my transaction in a pending status which I felt would nullify my receipt at another location. All I wanted was cash back and she wouldn't give it to me(inside joke for music lovers). When I said, ok, well I can't find my card, so now what, this Jennifer girl, says, I can't cancel it, it's already processing. Anyone who has worked this type of dead end job, knows you can cancel a transaction. After refusing to give me my brakes and receipt back because she can't cancel it due to the fact that I had (mistakenly) told her, that I think I do have my card.. "oh here it is", I said, but later retracted and said, oh I made a mistake it's not the same card. She ignored that as if I were lying. So her new "policy" created by her was "ok, now that you said you have your debit card, I can no longer give you cash back". I told her about five or six times after that, that no, I don't have my debit card after all! She stared at me, with this smug look, stubbornly saying"nope, can't do it, you may have said you had your card in error but I heard that you had your card and so now I have to put your refund back on the card". Thinking to myself, are you kidding me, I just told this tonta that I don't have my card. Controlling my temper as best I could, anger is building but culminating in a bit of a raised voice, my hands starting to shake. Then, I hear, after my repeated demands for my part and receipt back, "come back when you find your card and I'll finish the transaction". What? So I'm supposed to leave my brake pads and receipt until I find my card, not even cancel it and give me my own property back? This is the "manager"? I could have grabbed my things but wanted to see how this would play out without me grabbing my stuff angrily, that I just had to go in my car and find my lost card. I knew it was in my car somewhere! Just not where exactly. When I walk back in, Jennifer said "I thought you lost your card?". Bitch. Seriously, Sherlock, just perform your transactions that your paid to perform and with a smile on your face. It's not necessary to argue with the customer. There's another ghetto employee with a tattoo across her chest, who told me "I'm off the clock", as if she could do anything she wanted because she was off the clock, including talk crap about the customers to their face and behind their backs. She tried to start a fight with me when my voice raised, my voice raised rightfully so, I may add, because of the accusations of being called a liar, her not giving me my part and receipt back to me, being lied to about not being able to give cash back to a customer with a receipt. To be told "now that I know you have your debit card, I can't give you cash". She had admitted after saying this, that if I hadn't told her I had a debit card to refund to, she could give me cash. When I told her I didn't have my card, she STILL wouldn't give me cash. This is a reflection of a person trying to maintain some kind of power over others. I'm grossed out by those chicks at Auto Zone. Come on, learn how to represent, take some pride in your work, treat customers with the benefit of the doubt. Even IF I was lying to you, and had my debit card, that is not an accusation you want to make without PROOF. I wanted to scream"I just told you three times that I cannot find my debit card in my wallet". I went to my car, searched, found my debit card, come back, go okay"here", she goes"I thought you said you LOST your debit card", so at that point is escalating the accusations of me lying. Yes you *$#@ $&#@ it wasn't in my wallet. I went into my car just to satisfy your gaslighting game maneuvers. Easier to use Amazon! Avoid the bad lack of customer service skills and accusatory chicks that definitely aren't mechanics. How can they be? They don't even know how to cancel a transaction and give you your own part and receipt back?Jennifer's calm-ish voice belied her own shaking hands. If it happened to me, a low key person, it can happen to you. Then, both the employees called me stupid. Of course I name called back, Id been pushed. There were some customers there but I don't think they were paying attention, just laughing at the "crazy customer". Gaslighting? Is it possible in a cashier/customer scenario to be gaslit? Today has proven to me that, yes it is. Isn't that what gaslighting is, starting the flame, stoking the fire, then encouraging the laughing as if the other person is the fool, as if you are in the wrong. read more
