Beejay is awesome! I stopped in to buy fuses and ask some advice on how to fix my car, which was blowing 7.5 amp fuses to the "infotainment" system. Beejay listened to me and offered up some advice. He said if I couldn't get it figured out, to come to the store and he would help me, which is what I had to do. Working on car electrical systems, including aftermarket installations, was not easy, but Beejay kept helping me until we found that the parking assist, located in the trunk, was causing the problem! Last year he gave me neoprene rings when they didn't have the right gasket for my Harley fuel tank. I really appreciate the help that they have given me over the years! read more

Steven (the store's GM at this location) is an absolute buffoon. I've given my business here for many years--long before he was GM. He used to be at the 102nd & Silver Spring location. No idea why he relocated, but since he moved, I've had nothing but problems. When I shop AutoZone, I buy parts and accessories in advance. Any DIY'er knows you grab what you might need and return what you don't. Common sense, right? Apparently not to Steven. Multiple times, I've tried to return perfectly fine items here--bought within DAYS or even HOURS--only to be hassled. Today I came in with the original bag, receipt, and unopened tools. Steven examined them like a detective, holding parts inches from his face looking for the slightest flaw. He does this Every. Single. Time. For context: I was returning a chrome socket and ratchet. Anyone who works on cars knows chrome sockets almost always have blemishes straight off the shelf due to shipping. Chrome scratches easily--it's unavoidable. Yet Steven claimed my tools were "used," even though they never left the bag from purchase less than 24 hours earlier. It's one thing if a tool looks dragged down a road, it's another to purposefully inconvenience a loyal customer over a $20 return. Newsflash Steven: saving AutoZone mere Pennie's to their billion dollar company isn't getting you that DM promotion. This isn't a one-off. I've learned to skip the argument and just drive to another AutoZone. There, I return the exact same unopened merchandise with zero hassle. Moreover, I've learned that If Steven isn't working, the other employees at this location process returns with no issue. So clearly this is about one man on a power trip. To demonstrate this room temperature IQ specimens laughable incompetence, let's perform an experiment. I took an additional two sockets off the shelf and placed them amongst the one I tried to return in the attached photos. Please, Steven, tell me which was the one I tried to return and which are the "new" ones I pulled off the shelf for comparison. If you have a functioning frontal cortex, you'll notice they're entirely indistinguishable. Congrats, Steven. In trying to block a $20 return, you lost a customer who's spent thousands here over the years and would have continued to do so. My experience since you arrived has been the equivalent of being raked over hot coals. read more

Hi When I want to go to AutoZone, I get some lights for my car. Steven came right out with a problem to help me. Before he helped me, a car was there from out of town. You who have thought they pull up at an auto shop, the way Steven was helping them. I came back the next day and brought some whips for my car. This time, another co-worker helped me. His name was Cyrus, and he was of every help. He put them on, and whips something on my window to make the water bounce off when it rains. I tell you, this is a great team. I used to go to O'Reilly Auto Store, but no more. I am a new customer of AutoZone. Steven needs to be the top trainer for all of your new employees. read more

I stopped in at autozone to buy plastic for my window that would not roll up. I was talking to a service member and they came out to my car and were able to get my window rolled up for me and let me know what would need to be replaced. They also fixed two other issues that I mentioned without any charge. Staff is always so friendly there and will help you save money however they can. Just walked into AutoZone and was greeted by a sales associate. I was looking to check my car's computer and the acting manager Lauren with her tattoos heavily displayed on her chest, overheard the conversation was complaining that the reader was not being maintained right and just walked up to me and handed me the device without any questions if I knew how to operate it. I've never seen one of these before and figured out on my own how to use it after going in and out of the store three times without any instructions. Lauren had plenty of time to complain about returns shouting out to an associate in another area of the store trying to locate other returns and did not offer any solutions. The associate that I was greeted by did not have a solution and recommended I go to a competitor to get a read of my car's computer which will turn into sales at the competition store. It is evident that the store needs extreme help and critical support in training employees and engaging customers to make promoters rather than detractors read more

Of course, when starting a road trip for the holiday weekend, it begins to rain. That's when you find out you really should have replaced your wiper blades BEFORE hand. They are still in the Zone. Clerks were attentive and were able to answer my questions. Also were able to provide the items I wanted and if needed, able to have the parts ordered from the other Autozone locations and bring over for pick up the next day. I went in to rent a set of brake caliper pushing tools. They had them too. read more
