Let's be real here…read more I WAS NOT looking forward to going into this store. I needed a light bulb for my rear blinker and I found this chore more annoying than relieving yourself in an outhouse. My husband and I went to some other auto part store once and observed things that I could write a book about. (I'll spare you details but one of the events was the employee who stopped mid-conversation to pick up his cell phone and SCREAM at his wife about how she was a B!@#$ and a stupid POS...and etc.) How wrong I was! I walked in, got promptly greeted and was given my light bulb for less than $3!! I just assumed I needed to pay something stupid. I just asked for a quick explanation on how to install the new bulb, and to my surprise, he grabbed his tool box and offered to teach me while he installed it. He was so professional and patient, I felt so valued as a customer. I will be back and will refer everyone to this location.

I brought my vehicle to the Tires Plus on Lake Street to replace a tire that was covered under…read morewarranty after a bulge was identified. The repair was completed, and I left assuming everything was taken care of. The next day my tire pressure light came on. I figured it probably just needed to be reset after the service. By Monday morning, the tire was completely flat. I called the store expecting them to take responsibility and help resolve the issue, especially since the tire was under warranty and they had just serviced it. Instead, I was told I would need to tow the vehicle back in. I explained that I didn't think I should have to pay for a tow when the problem appeared to be related to the work they had just done. Rather than working toward a solution, the manager, Jonathan, became combative and argumentative. The tone was defensive and dismissive, not helpful. When I asked for the name of his manager or someone I could escalate the issue to, he refused to provide it and acted like there was no one above him. I ended up having to call the main customer service line myself to try to get this resolved. I did not create this issue. The tire was covered under warranty, I brought it in for repair, and shortly after the service the tire was completely flat. A reasonable response would have been an apology, arranging a tow, and correcting the problem. Instead, I was met with resistance and poor customer service. Really frustrating experience, and not what you want when dealing with something that directly affects vehicle safety.
