I needed a new bulb for the middle interior light in my car. I walked in and was instantly greeted. I showed the employee my previous bulb packaging and he looked it up. The last time I replaced this bulb it burned out pretty quick so we discussed that and he recommended a brighter slightly different bulb and some bulb grease. I knew to install it with gloves on but he reminded me. I lubed up the bulbs tips and installed it. So far so good. I think the bulbs (came with 2) we're about $15 which definitely gave me sticker shock, but it needed to be replaced and I was there. Now I can see in my backseat at night when I need something. read more

They are very helpful and kind when you go in to find what you need for your vehicle, even offer to guide you right to where it is, and or get it for you. I like a little "scavenger hunt" once in a while so the guy printed out the item number/info for me. Which is nice because I can keep that information in my glove compartment for the next time I need it. They usually tell you what deals they currently have going on as well. Typically it's been the fuel injection type product and it's usually a buy one get one deal. The store is clean and organized. First, 5 stars overall but minus 1 star for neither employee wearing a mask during this early March 2022 visit. My new favorite location. I came to this location cuz the Autozone near my house does not carry size 24F of the Duralast Platinum battery. (Fyi the Platinum is their highest end battery, and the only model that is AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) type, which is a good thing, googleable) They installed my new battery and I left with my printed warranty plus a few small items I picked up in the store. These guys are always helpful, even when they're busy. The Corp isn't great. The prices are high and you can't trust their part recommendations but they have a lot of stock and can get you about anything. But you'll have to pray that it fits. read more

Came in to return a battery. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They were wearing masks, and had hand sanitizer when asked. The hand sanitizer was not readily available to customers however. Normally I get $5 for returning a battery to the store. Here, I got $10, but it is in a gift card. read more

Bought lightbulbs for my 2015 Volkswagen Golf. Paid for the better bulbs. Wrong bulb. Go back and get the right bulbs. They last six or seven months. I go back in but since I do not have my receipt and they cannot track anything from my phone number or card I have to buy new bulbs again. I buy the bulbs, wrong ones again. I bring the old bulbs in to make sure I don't buy the same type again. The man at the counter says that the bulbs I brought in that were burnt out were made in Germany, and they don't carry any bulbs made in Germany. So I go ahead and buy another set of bulbs. When I take the new Sylvania bulbs out, they are made in Germany. I called them back just to tell them that they were wrong again. Bad store? Bad Sylvania bulbs? Or both? read more

I bought a used Subaru Forester 2 years ago and did not expect my headlights to malfunction on a rainy foggy evening on a dark road. Very scary purple streaks from head lamps connecting to street lights, never experienced such a blinding phenomena in the foggy night before! Fortunately I discovered that Auto Zone has a location very near my home. Did not want to go to Subaru dealership and pay 20x more money. I headed over and spoke to the very helpful knowledgeable female manager and she had an assortment of different bulbs to fit my Forester. Bibeams and low beams. I choose the more expensive LED bulbs because the area where I live is very dark. To my surprise she offered to install them for me which impressed me very much! If I had the option to give zero stars I would. All the issues I could complain about would take up an entire page. BUT, I will warn you in advance the employees at this store are incompetent. Not just employees but the 'many' managers they seem to have. They lack proper edict for a customer service oriented store. This is not just a one time issue either. It has been an ongoing problem for the last year atleast. Since this store is barely a block from our home, we always try this store first for something that should be a simple transaction, but 9 times out of 10 we end up driving 2 or 3 miles away to another autozone with NO ISSUES. I dont know that much about automotive stuff, and the employees here are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! I bought a licence plate frame for my Jeep and the manager put it on for me and even added extra srews to secure it tightly. I have experienced impeccable service with a smile EVERY TIME, and as a result, I refuse to go anywhere else for my automotive needs. My right signal light went out on my 2004 Ford Taurus and I needed a replacement bulb. They had just what I needed and not only that, installed it for me at no charge! I felt the customer service I received was above and beyond what was expected. Kraig Williams, the manager, spent quite a bit of time getting the new bulb in since of course, they don't make it easy for you to replace it yourself. Not only that, since it was a two bulb pack, that when the left one goes out just bring in the other bulb and they will replace that one as well free of charge. Wow! The area is in the same shopping center as Frugos on Cannon Road in Oceanside on the boarder of Vista... I happened to visit this prior to eating at Frugos, but it wasn't on the map. Yay for first time reviews! This was an impromptu stop-in for some Seafoam for my bike... immediately after the door chimed my arrival, an attendant was eager to assist and sought to see if I needed help finding anything. "Nope," I responded, and was left to my own devices in the store. I love when I don't feel stalked as I'm browsing. I ran circles around the aisles, and finally noticed that the Seafoam was with the fuel injector cleaners against the wall close to the entrance. $10.99 was a bit steep, but I trust Seafoam better than Lucas or any of the other products on the shelf. Don't remember the name of the guy who helped me, but he was very much a gentleman and almost a bit too forward... when he asked me for my ID (paid with a debit card), he was the one to swipe the card and was on the same side of the counter as me. It was slightly awkward, but the genuine personal touch the guy was trying to add was an acknowledged effort... to the attendant: thanks, just don't do that to every girl, or they might get creeped out. Overall, this AutoZone is solid. The clerk that helped me (as well as the other sales associate who attended to return customers) were really interested in being useful to anyone in the store. For that, you guys get 4 stars. I wouldn't mind coming back to this location, since I know I'll get helped. read more
