miracle workers, take it in for misfire on 2 cylinders, water in cylinders, exhaust gasses in the radiator coolant and over heating, confirmed by another mechanic that refused to work through the extended warranty company, the extended warranty covers power train only and i confirmed they will pay to do the gasket if needed, counter guy kept giving me a price to replace the had gasket at like $3k and the radiator has a small leak and that would need replaced as well, he said they have pictures but i never got them either by their web login thing or email, never saw it, radiator not covered under service warranty. the counter guy mentioned blue devil a couple times that it worked on his car, I just wanted the gasket done under the contract and i will pay for that radiator, $1900, they did the radiator and wow, the misfires are gone and the head gasket miraculously fixed itself, I just dont get how this could happen??? on 2 other notes from previous service work done here, Before Ralph sold the place I never had an issue, but since then my son took his 98 ranger in to find a vacuum leak, they said it was done, paid the bill, when he picked it up the ac vents didnt work, took it back and there was an entire foot of hose that was corroded and fell off, guess they didnt take a test spin. 2013 expedition transmission service, probably not a big deal but worth mentioning, they did a filter and fluid swap, it calls for Mercon lLV, they used type F fluid. Just lost all confidence in this place now. As of today misfires came back cylinder 2 and 3. Same 2 cylinders in question iriginally, Overheating badly. Water in oil. Guess the problem was not address/fixed properly by a radiator replacement, Less than 1000 miles after so-called repairs. read more

I'm not sure what that does for you though because I have proof I was in fact a customer when I said I was. Now in addition to poor customer service you apparently don't keep updated logs on your servicing. Nonetheless, a bulb change shouldn't take that long. I've had friends change it for me in about 10 minutes. If there's delays because of part delivery that should be communicated to the customer. And there's no reason at all that the mechanic should misplace someone else's keys. brought my vehicle here on a Wednesday before a holiday weekend and call the next morning to see when the vehicle would be available. I was quoted at the vehicle would be available around noon. Therefore I canceled all my evening appointments on that day. The salesman/repair guy, Bob, explain to me that my vehicle was throwing out codes, one code regarding the transmission and another regarding radiator flaps. So instead of just fixing the issue, they decided to gamble with my money and charge me $900 for a transmission fluid change which my car is now still the exact same position as it was before unrepaired. after the weekend, the salesman then tried to sell me on a new transmission or a rebuild transmission but if that was the case, why wouldn't they test everything to begin with instead of charging me for a $900 transmission fluid exchange. Their name should definitely not be fast automotive. It should be slow and sketchy automotive. Do not go! read more

I took my car in recently to have a common suspension issue with my type of car fixed. I called ahead earlier in the day to tell them when I would be in to have an estimate done. When I arrived a half hour early the guy at the counter had the notes about my call and I understood I was earlier than I said I would be so I went across the parking lot to eat and give them some time to get to my car. I come back a half an hour later and my car is up on a lift where it stayed for another hour and a half. The guy at the counter saw that I wasn't pleased about how long it was taking and calls the mechanic over to ask about my car. The mechanic takes his first look at the front suspension and goes on to name every component of my front suspension, not exactly a proper diagnosis. Then he tried to charge $145.00 for the "diagnostic check". Never go to this place for anything, the owner is a thief. read more

This place used to be great before it changed owners. After a number of minor incidents (e.g., installing the wrong cabin air filter, etc.) I took my car to another shop for some work. The owner of the second shop informed that the front brake pads had been installed backwards (all 4 brakes had been redone less than 6 months prior by Fast Automotive). Honestly, it's hard to find an honest mechanic. I'm always scared when going to a mechanic. These guys are an absolute godsend. Charged me $75 when he could of stuck me with a 1k bill. Our 1965 Shelby Cobra (kit car) was badly leaking transmission fluid and I feared that a costly repair might be headed my way. I called up Fast Automotive Center after reading (literally) all of their wonderful Yelp 5 Star reviews. I spoke with Danny who was wonderful, reassuring and caring. He said that he could get me into the shop as soon as the very next morning. I was extremely wowed by the excellent customer service, technician talent, quality of service, workmanship and great value. They showed me that I had horrible (cheap) rubber hoses and thankfully suggested replacing all of them with custom braided stainless steel ones. They did all the work great (beautiful) work in a very few short hours. Wow! Was I ever blown away by how many cables they had to replace and how well they looked professionally installed. I am not at home to take some pictures, but will try to add a couple later this evening. I was very impressed by Danny and all the technicians who I met and worked on my car. They are ALL very nice, professional and talented mechanics, who have a passion and enthusiasm for working on cars. Fast Automotive is the very best. I, and many friends, have used for 10+ years and have always gotten honest and reasonably priced service. The most important thing is honesty. I would trust them with my wallet. Have taken my auto in three times the past 3 years and asked them to check my brakes ..each time I was told, "No, your brakes are fine ... still 40% or 50% ... come back in 9-12 months and we'll check again." Many places would sell you a brake job regardless of the wear ... but not Fast Automotive. They do smog, air conditioners and all the usual auto work. I went into find a very clean and well organized, large repair facility. The shop manager and owner is very friendly and eager to help.
