He was immediately able to help me with my warranty and even exchanged the old battery for the new one. In the process, he helped me find and add a new bolt to stabilize the battery as I hadn't realized one of them was missing to keep the battery from moving. They were so old that all the caked in dirt had sort of fused them. Peter was able to unclip them without breaking the arm and successfully replaced them. The first customer service rep who I spoke to, Al Davila, tried his hardest to help me. He even had another service rep named Lyle help. Overall, between the two of them, a lot of time was spent trying to figure out solutions to the problem, but, ultimately, despite the challenges, we managed to insert the grommets. I went into Autozone because I know they have that machine thingy that diagnosis the car. I just got my car from a Buy Here Pay Here so I wanted to see if anything was wrong with the car. Kevin is the one that greeted and assisted me. I told him I wanted to get my car diagnosed because I had just got a car. He asked if the check engine light was on and I said no. He said that they only do the diagnostic test if the check engine light was on. I pleaded if he could do the test for me and he agreed. He told me to go start up the car and that he'd come right out. He did the diagnostic and nothing came up. Meaning that the car was okay. I thanked him for doing it for me anyway, as I figured he already knew nothing would come up because the check light engine wasn't on. But I just wanted to be sure! She hung up on me. I called back and another guy answered. When I asked why does she hang up on me, he said because I called her retarded and hung up on me again. I called back again and the manager answered the phone. I asked again, what's up with you guys keep hanging up on people? He started, first of all I don't let you to disrespect my employees. I recently was told I needed a new battery during an oil change. I was up in another state at that time and decided Id rather get my battery at autozone so that I had nationwide coverage on any warranty. I had time to kill between appointments and went to this location. I am still weary of CoVid and there was a gentleman outside. I asked the employee if he would mind looking at my battery and letting me know what model I needed for replacement. That gentleman looked under my hood and said my battery had exploded!! whoa!! He took care of everything on the spot. I just handed him my CC and he was able to run my card, get me a new batter and take care of my old one. I never had to leave the comfort of my car! Wow... I drove from California to Phoenix and had a transmission overheating light show up 3 times along the way. I never had this problem before and it was Mothers Day so no car repair places open. My friend recommended I try AutoZone because they might be able to help me at least figure out if I could get a quick fix. Bear helped us. Turns out my transmission fluid was nearly empty. I also needed some pins to hold my front mud flaps to the car. Bear was willing and able to help us in the dark with a flashlight to find what we need with the right size and specs and help me find the place to fill the transmission fluid.
