Not a great first-time experience. This location is in a high-traffic area with a tricky setup -- getting in and out is inconvenient due to poor zoning and layout. I stopped by for a quick air check, but the line was surprisingly long with only one station available, so plan on waiting. It took me 30 minutes just to get my tire checked. A gentleman (whose name started with "L") found a nail in my tire and said it could be fixed, but it would take an hour. I decided to stay. Inside, I waited another 15 minutes just to get checked in. Miguel re-checked my car, added me in as a walk-in, and also recommended replacing my windshield wipers. I agreed. An hour passed, and my car still hadn't been touched. I stood in line again to ask for an update -- things were chaotic. The system showed my car hadn't even entered the queue, and to make matters worse, they couldn't locate my keys. Apparently, several people were quoted incorrect wait times. The lack of communication between the front desk and service team was obvious and frustrating. Even though dissatisfied my car ended up getting serviced and everything was properly fixed. I won't go back to this location because it seems everything is unorganized. I called corporate to share my experience because this location needs some help in coordination and service. read more

Very friendly and transparent, with safety and quality as a priority. However, if you do go in for something simple like a patch; know that they are seemingly trained to try to sell you something anyway. Even if you are firm about what you want, they are pretty adamant and have a workflow that escalates the situation and makes it seem like the best option/resolution no matter what the problem is is buying 2 to 4 new tires. Got a flat tire today 4/24/2026. Had a screw in my thread, i had to drive about 20 minutes on the tire when the light got on , to get me there, it needed to be replaced. Spent $49 for the recertification. The team helped me out so fast and got it replaced by the time i paid and tried to sit down it was ready. Great Customer service and quick. Flat out dishonest staff. Not like this with other discount tire spots, but this one - won't come here again. Took it to JDs (tires you can buy for $10 less than discount tire - basically brand new) and they discovered a nail in the tread. Easy $20 patch. Discount wanted to tell me someone in the past messed up a plug job and now makes sense they told me this to try to get me into a $85 tire replacement (not including labor or disposal) instead of patching it for free, which is their policy. Normally I don't take time to review things like this, so take it for what it's worth. Do better, Discount. P.S. the only reason it has 2 stars is because of the free bottled water in Arizona. I came in yesterday with a flashing tire pressure indicator light which had been flashing for about a week. I got an estimate from my auto shop and it was $900 to replace all the sensors. I then checked with Discount Tire and they quoted me a price of $273, including labor. Things have changed in the past year and not for the better. We have purchased tires for at least 20 years from Discount Tire. We loved the free rotation and other services they provide. About a year ago we started to get pressured to buy additional items at the 7th Ave and Bell location. They started mentioning lug nuts and wiper blades. Today my wife and I took our vehicles for our rotation and were pressured about the lug nuts once again. My car was done first and then they took her car in. I was told that they could not do the service on her car because a nut didn't grab correctly. They said that the only way they could do the service is if we spent $53 for new lug nuts. It seems that they are working on commission now. I was also asked to replace my spare tire. They have never looked at the spare tire before. After the last rotation when they pressured my wife about them, our ASE Certified Mechanic, who we have been going to for 20+ years said that there was nothing wrong with them. We trust him implicitly and he has been servicing cars longer than the kids at Discount Tire have been alive. They have had incredible turnover and it seems that there are always new people there. We have no trust in anything that Discount Tire says any longer. While the tires are inexpensive, the follow-up service and knowledge are lacking. We will be a customer no more! read more

I came into DT needing 2 new tires very badly! When arriving there was a really long line which was expected after a storm warning was put out. I had an appointment at 4 and waited in line. There was 2 ladies who were not so happy about having to wait so long and were throwing a fit in the lobby but the men at the counter handled it so well! After checking in, they informed me I would indeed need all 4 tires and explained to me in detail why (with pictures) which was so nice of them since I didn't know anything about it! I was lucky enough to connect with Ricky on my first visit to this location in 4+ years. I'd had tire problems in the past month and it was time to invest in a new set of tires. Extremely disappointed with discount tire today. I feel that I was being taken advantage of as a woman. I was told that they could not patch my tire because it had a previous patch/ repair on it and that is what had failed and the giant nail in my tire was not the problem... stupid right .... I know!!! So the only option they gave was to replace the tire with a $250 tire .... No other tire option was given. #1. Bought 4 new Goodyear tires and had them installed by DISCOUNT TIRE on 32 street and Thomas. Took it on highway and tires were out of balance. 2nd visit Went back bought 4 new wheels and had them all re balance. Tires were still not balance properly and now the TPMS sensor came on. 3rd visit. Had them rebalance tires for the third time and replace the TPMS sensor. They finally got the balancing correct, But TPMS Came back on. Going back for 4th visit on Tuesday to try one last time to fix Tpms sensor. If this doesn't work I'm taking it too costco, which is where I should have went to begin with.. The thing that really surprised me is how unsenative they were. read more

(3234 E Thomas Rd, Phoenix) These guys are GREAT. I work in Phoenix and have a 50-mile, one-way commute. When I came out of work tonight, I saw my left rear tire was going flat fast. Traffic was heavy and by the time I arrived they had just closed, but the gentleman at the front counter asked me what was going on. Then he immediately called the guys over and they inspected the tire. Everyone was pleasant and helpful despite it being Friday night after closing! They were able to fix the tire and before long I was on my way. It is unnerving to have to drive a long distance when you know a tire is not 100%. Given my schedule, I often don't get on the road for home until places are getting ready to close. Guys, I thank you all for your outstanding customer service, and for getting me on my way safely. This WAS THE DISCOUNT TIRE ON 22ND AVE CAMELBACK. PHOENIX I have bought all my tires from Discount tire for 23 years, it's in the computer. I don't think I will ever be back after I was baggered to buy new tires, the tech that came to the car to check tires asked me 6x's, 3 of the times he said we have financing, I said I DONT have the money, finance it, I said you have to make money to pay the bill. I finally asked him TO STOP... I Said NO. Then We went inside, The guy behind the register. I assume the manager asked me another 5 times and I told him no. I had to ask him three times to stop badgering me. I am appalled this never used to happen. WTH, I told him I buy my tires here. When I get the money, I'll come back and buy them. I was only in the yellow. I don't get a weekly paycheck and I shouldn't have to explain. I told them NO and they continued. He wasn't gonna rotate my tires and I told them to rotate my tires. My husband and I were in town about a week ago and noticed that we had a nail in our tire. It was in the sidewall which we knew was not good. Well the tire could not be replaced and we had to get 2 new tires. They gave us a decent deal and did the work as promised. Returned to Az to dog sit and found myself back here again with my sons car. The tire pressure was low on the back passenger tire. Brought it here to have air pressure checked. As my son and I figured there was a screw in the tire. I left the car with them they told me it would be 12:30 when it was done but I got the text at 11:00 that the car was ready. I came in three days ago regarding a tire light. I got a new wheel and went to discount tire on Thomas and 32st. Within hours my tire light came back on. So I made another appointment for today. I've been here over an hour and still waiting for my car. They didn't add enough air. They had me leave their lot with two tires at 19 and 11 psi. Not ok. They need to be at least 34 psi. Ricky was no help at all. Giving me incorrect information and not helpful at all. Told me I had a nail in my tire and upon inspection it was revealed he was telling me about a completely different car under a completely different name. Then when I asked him how come he's not double checking and why is he giving out incorrect information he tells me he knows what he's doing and not to yell.
