I was just in the store buying car detailing stuff. There were 3 customers shopping. When I was ready to check out there was no one in line. I was at the counter waiting to check out. One of the guys walked by no acknowledgment nothing. He was literally standing around. Eventually a girl came to the register. As I was waiting at the check out counter a guy walked over and lines up. The girl called him over to check him out. I said I had been waiting. Her response. I wasn't in line and even though I had been waiting she was taking him first because he was standing in line behind me. WTF Literally the stupidest checker I have ever encountered. With the exception of a few good employees I'd definitely avoid this place, especially if you're a woman. Went in for a new battery and the employee told me they're not allowed to install them because of liability issues which makes sense so I didn't question it. I go in the following day & notice this same employee is installing a battery for a customer who is a man. A few minutes into my visit at the store I notice a woman who bought windshield wipers & needed help installing them. For whatever reason they didn't help her. After she leaves another customer comes in & asks for assistance with his wipers & the employee is more than happy to do it. Y'all hate women or is it a race thing? I've checked three different occasions to get rain x and they don't have it in stock. During the rain season (if there is such a thing in SoCal) I would assume they would refill their rain x often or order more knowing people with broken windshield wiper arms (like myself) rain x is a must have right now. If I could I would leave 0 stars this place is an absolute joke came here to get a battery for a car and the first kid who rang us out was nice enough but had next to no knowledge on anything we asked and sold us the wrong battery. After leaving and coming back the employees looked at us flabbergasted as if us coming back was crazy when we told them about the battery being wrong they still had no information even though a different guy was helping us now so we went to the shelf to get a battery and the guy who was helping us disappeared to who knows where so we had to wait in line again then when we got to the front the manager Jose was completely melancholic while helping us and when asked if it was the right battery or voltage he just mumbled "ya.." a couple times so we took the battery and left. Mind you while all this was going on their store was packed and one female employee stood around for 15 minutes looking at every one and when a lady asked her for help she was just like oh no I can't then stood around for 10 more minutes before walking out. Bad service with amateur workers who can't even test a battery correctly.....I came in yesterday to test my battery. The worker told me the battery just needed to be recharged. I explained that I couldn't start the car without jumping it and I just wanted a new battery, but she refused to sell me a new battery (???) because she didn't think that was the issue, and thought it may be the alternator or sensor. She recommended I go to another autozone so they could test the alternator which I did, and the kid that worked there also didn't know what he was doing and told me everything was fine. Took it to a local mechanic immediately after who tested the battery and it came back as bad and that I needed to replace the battery. Car runs perfectly fine now with a new battery. read more
