Unfortunately, I recently experienced what I believe to be fraudulent and potentially illegal practices. In July, I was charged in advance for a part that was never delivered. I was told it would arrive in three days, but after multiple follow-ups, my calls were ignored and I was treated dismissively when I reached out. Despite already having charged my card, no part was ever received. More recently, Roadhaus requested $935 via Zelle for repairs they claimed to have performed on my vehicle. When AAA towed my car back, it was clear no repairs had been made--every warning light remained on, and the same issues persisted. I also have texts showing confirmation of payment and repair claims that were never fulfilled. AAA staff even reported seeing concerning activity ("smoking" my car) while it was in Roadhaus's possession, which raises additional red flags. When questioned, the shop rushed payment, citing that they "owed people money." No itemized invoice was ever provided, and despite paying in full, no legitimate work was performed. I have since filed a fraudulent charge dispute with my bank to recover these funds. This company and its representative present themselves with kindness, but in my experience, this has been a tactic to disarm and take advantage of customers. Based on my interactions and the documentation I hold, I strongly caution others to beware of this business. I am prepared to provide copies of texts, bank records, and AAA statements to support my claims. Please let me know how best to proceed in formally escalating this matter.

He got it done FAST... 2.5 days! 4. His pricing was fair and of course ... honest!! 5. He even cleaned my engine bay for free for me. 6. I was able to pick up the car on a Saturday. Taking all my cars to Carlos, period. The fact that he can work on a G-Wagon says it all. I can't stress this enough. With how shady the auto mechanic business can be, it is a gem to find someone with integrity. Glad I did. Energy doesn't lie and I am happy that I went with my instinct.

Two days ago, I went to Tirez2day (conveniently located only a few blocks from my house) to get the…read moreserpentine belt replaced on my Honda Civic. This is the third time since 2023 that I went to this shop to get work done on my car...and that's because its owner, Daniel, is one of the most upstanding individuals you'll meet (at an auto shop or elsewhere) to perform a service that's requested. The first time I went to Tirez2day was in May 2023...when I needed to get my brake pads replaced, which Daniel did successfully and at a reasonable cost. The second time I went to Tirez2day was less than three weeks ago...when I needed to get a wheel alignment for my Civic. A sensor on the alignment device at the shop wasn't working properly, so Daniel asked if I could return the next day (a Sunday, when Tirez2day is usually closed) to get the alignment done, which I did. Because of this, Daniel only charged me $75 instead of the $100 I would've had to pay if the alignment was performed on the previous day as intended! And with the serpentine belt, I only paid $115 for the engine part and service. I was putting off on replacing the belt (which was causing my car to vibrate significantly when I turned on the air conditioner and was idling at a red light) because I thought it was somehow damaged from wear-and-tear over the years, and would've cost me hundreds of dollars more to replace at another shop! So to put an end to a lengthy review, I highly recommend Tirez2day if you need service done on your automobile. This shop has been in business since 2014, and with good reason... Its owner has high integrity and will do everything he can to perform the maintenance on your vehicle as requested. And at a reasonable cost!

When I called, I specifically asked whether installation was included in the quoted price, and I was told yes, which is pretty standard at tire shops in the area. When I arrived, I was told my car would be ready around 1:00 PM. I also asked if they could put the new tires on the front and move the existing front tires to the rear. The employee at the counter agreed without mentioning any additional charge. I came back at 1:00 PM, only to find that my car hadn't even been moved yet. They didn't actually start working on it until around 1:30 PM. The biggest issue came when I paid. I was charged an additional $40 for mounting and balancing, despite being told over the phone that it was included. While I was trying to ask about the discrepancy, the employee handling my payment was on the phone and never addressed my question, which felt unprofessional. If the extra charge was actually for rotating the tires, I wish they had told me before agreeing to do it. I would have declined since I can get tire rotations done for free at Costco. If the charge was for mounting and balancing, then the information I was given over the phone was simply incorrect. The tires themselves are fine, but the miscommunication, delayed service, and lack of explanation left a bad impression. Better communication and transparency about pricing would have made this a much better experience.
