My Honda CR-V battery died and I was unable to start the car which was parked in my garage. I took my truck to pick up a new battery. George provided advice on the best battery for the car. He then carried it out to my truck. He must have noticed the disabled veteran plates on the truck and asked if I was a veteran. When I replied affirmatively, he told me that Advance Auto Parts gave a military discount. He went back into the store and adjusted my receipt to give the discount. He then asked if I had someone to install the battery. When I said no, he volunteered to come to my house after work (on his own time) to install it for me. The store closed at 9pm and 20 minutes later he was at my house installing the battery. I sincerely appreciate George's efforts and customer-first attitude!

My car had been starting slowly and I thought I would wait for my annual inspection to get the battery checked. But yesterday, I went to the grocery and as I went in the rear deck wouldn't open. Tried the remote, the switch on the deck and on the dash. Nothing. When I came out of the store, the remote wouldn't unlock the doors. I manually opened the door and in my Oh-S moment I prayed. Thankfully it started. I had to do something NOW. I drove immediately to AutoZone, went inside and Dominic left the counter immediately. He tested the battery: One cell was dead and the battery was draining fast. He and his coworkers worked together to find a high quality, warranted replacement. He and his coworkers also worked together to get the battery swapped out free of charge. Recycling of the old battery was free, too. In desperate, out relieved in 30-minutes. "Hallelujah AutoZone"

He has put so much time, energy and money into trying to get some compensation from Autozone and they just don't seem to care. I have a 2025 RAV4, and a strap from a bag became caught in the rear hatch. The hatch would not open, the interior lights would not turn off, and the vehicle beeped continuously while I was driving. I first contacted Toyota of Cedar Park, where I leased the vehicle, but they could not see me for almost a week and made no effort to take a quick look or offer any assistance. I then called Toyota of Round Rock. Although they were also fully booked, they told me to come in and they would see if they could work me in or at least take a look at the problem. I live in Leander, so it was nearly a 30 minute drive, but I was very grateful that they were willing to try to help. When I arrived, Eduardo was incredibly kind and understanding. He initially explained that they did not have any appointments available and that I might need to leave the vehicle overnight. However, when he saw how upset I was, he kindly offered to take a quick look himself. Within about 10 seconds, he identified the problem, pulled the trapped strap free, and everything was working perfectly again. What impressed me most was not simply that Eduardo fixed the problem so quickly. It was his compassion, patience, and willingness to help when I was stressed and unsure of what to do. He could easily have turned me away because they were fully booked, but instead, he took a moment to listen and assist me. To be fair, they do quality repair work, diagnose problems accurately, and their customer service is excellent. I give them full credit for that. However, in my experience, their prices are extremely high. Once everything is added up, you can often find another mechanic or repair shop that offers the same quality work for a much more reasonable price. Their labor rate is around $189 per service, so if you need brake pads and a battery replaced, you could easily end up paying $300+ in labor alone, plus the cost of parts. Recently, I was charged nearly $1,000 just to replace the brake pads on my SUV. Meanwhile, a friend of mine recently had both brake pads and rotors replaced elsewhere for a little over $200. My advice is to protect your hard-earned money and compare prices before committing to repairs. There are many honest mechanics and repair shops that provide great service and quality work at fair prices. In my opinion, Christian Brothers presents itself very well, but their pricing can feel excessive and disappointing.
