Jesus Hernadez and the entire staff on this store are the most unethical and unhelpful employees I have met. We purchase an alternator with lifetime warranty that went out after 3 months, we took it back and they try to denied the change several times. They said it was not on the system. Luckily We had a picture of the receipt where it showed the stored number and credit card number. Jesus still try to pretend it was not possible to exchange it because it was not on his system and would not admit that it was him or his staff that did the mistake of not entering the correct information on there system or they simply wanted to steal from us and force us to buy a second alternator. Can you believe that, we had a picture of the receipt and a charge on our credit card and they wanted to robbed us. Jesus the store manager even had the audacity to tell my wife that he was going to lunch in two minutes as I was on my way to the store because he was refusing to help her. Horrible customer service at its core. It was only when I told him that I will reach out to corporate, his superiors and review his service on all the platforms available that he magically was able to exchange the warranty and found the transaction on the system. So if you want horrible service and want your money at risk, this is the store to shop at. Take a picture of your receipt because they will make you buy the part again to stay on business with your money. read more

The most horrible nonchalant service and behavior from Aiyana V. Major attitude problem when i asked her to scan my vehicle for system issues, gave me device to plug it in with the worst attitude. Not helpful at all. Girl if you dont want to work just say that and dont bother! read more

My car was drivable before I went in to autozone store #3399 they replaced my battery first they put the wrong size battery in my vehicle and he went to get parts from another nearby autozone to make battery fit his manager Lupe walked past said that is wrong size so he go gets right size battery and he put battery in incorrectly causing my steering wheel to lock, causing my lights to start flashing inside and outside of vehicle, also causing the horn to go off uncontrollably. We were there for hours after they damaged my car other customers offered help to no avail once they realized it was all computerized so I called for tow to have vehicle towed to where I lived then the next day had it towed to dealership mechanic. AutoZone caused me to lose my car they're payout was to low to get my car out of mechanic I've called corporate 901- 495 - 6500 this year and talk to Jessie he kept telling me store would call me or regional office but no one ever did. One day I called corporate someone other than Jessie answers saying she was customer service and she gives me number to regional office 623 - 936 - 5691 they don't return my calls after leaving several messages. Jose the store manger is rude & impolite. I don't know if he is racist, sexist, or lazy maybe all three. I stood in line as a guy asked for help with a battery, facial expression was horrible he answered the phone please hold no with an attitude as I proceeded to the counter and asked for assistance in a head light he stated "it's only two people here I can't do any outside work." I didn't even purchase a light bulb I left and went to O'Reilly's. Customer is horrible. read more

This place has horrible customer service skills my husband called to get his warrantied breaks and they told him they couldn't see it in there system which was a lie because he went to another location down the street they found it right away!! Just purchased a battery and a few other items from the guys tony and jose m. here at autozone on 99th ave and lowerbuckeye, I received the up most service from both of them from the time i walked in to the time jose m finished installing my battery. I know thwy where busy all day since most of the customers going In that day where all there for batteries. Thank you to the staff and to Tony and Jose m for helping me and my wife today. read more

I went to my local AutoZone to replace a bad headlight bulb in my truck. I went in, found my bulb and chose one of the two packs from a hook marked 29.99.....next to that hook was another brand of two packs marked 51.99....good value at 29.99 and I stood in line to pay. When the item was scanned, it came up 51.99 and I mentioned to the the clerk, Louis E., where I got the item and what the price tag said. He replied,"I don't know what to tell you....". I was just in shock because I thought he would go with me to check the tag or maybe even offer to fix the error if there really was one. I said I would exchange my two pack for a single bulb, and went to the same hook and saw the other package I had seen before still hanging on the hook marked 29.99. I placed the package back, and grabbed the single bulb package and went to the register. Again, I told Louis the tag showed 29.99 and that there were now 2 items hanging on the hook. His only response was," I don't know what to tell you....." and he continued to scan the single package. I've always done business with AutoZone and have a membership rewards card to show for it. The employees have always been great and willing to help and right any wrongs. I'm not very pleased with this situation and I'm hoping someone will take care to fix this issue and take this opportunity to train this particular person on how to treat their customers. It isn't too hard to turn the other direction towards your competitor to be treated nicely. read more

Came in yesterday to get a my car an OBD scan. I understand that in the light of the corona situation, the guy handed me the scan and had me do it myself. No problem there. But when I came back in, a lady helped me instead. She plugged in the scanner into the computer and read the message that popped up. Not going into details I already had a somewhat idea what it could be. So I asked her, "could it be a spark plug issue?" She replied "I dont know. I just work here." Yes, I understand you work here. It is an AUTOZONE. please understand that at autozone sure, you may not be a car mechanic genius. But you should have some general knowledge about if a car has a problem you should have some idea or suggestion on what I (AS A CUSTOMER SEEKING ASSISTANCE) would need assistance about. I was a bit frustrated by her little to nothing help that I got back in line and had the previous gentleman help me out with, which he was great help. Future idea, if you work at a store that specializes in car maintaince supplies and equipment, know your products and actually be of some assistance. read more

So we buy a battery in Tolleson in 2010 at Auto Zone store #3399 & drive around for a year & a half almost using it. Only to find out from a hard to understand thick accented "tech" on Saturday night (20 min before closing) that the battery that wouldn't start my car is "fine". Something else is wrong. OK not good news but hey Thanks buddy! So we take the car to not just any shop but the VW dealership Larry Miller. The dealership Larry Miller with a very good rep tells us no it's your battery after all. They did say we needed these recalls & an oil change (nothing to do with ignition, starters or battery relays). Sooo we get those done but missed count them 3 obligations & a day of working in the office. Still not mad though. We're happy our bill so far was only $70. Naively the hubs takes the battery & the print out showing all of the things checked at Larry Miller thinking with the paperwork this should be no prob. Maybe the tester was set wrong? Maybe the last guy made a mistake but whatever. Auto Zone has a 2 year warranty so it's all a non issue. WRONG WRONG WRONG! Jeremy the "manager" on duty says the handheld check that they did Saturday night & Monday afternoon were better & more comprehensive then the computer that VW runs it's diagnostics on.... But we could buy a battery from him for $150 & oh btw this battery isn't the right battery for your vehicle it's too small. So the husband has the moron Jeremy confirm that he is indeed saying VW is lying to us & the paperwork of diagnostics is just wrong. He then reminds Jeremy that he bought the battery based on what the Auto Zone tech in 2010 told him he needed so if the battery is the wrong size then it's still Auto Zones responsibility to make it right. So the hubs asks for the store manager if Jeremy's the manager on duty & is told that she's not there (on a Monday before 4 p.m.). Wowee Wow! Talk about bad customer service just going straight to f**king horrible customer service. Let's just blow by blow this scenario. Tech sells battery allegedly wrong size in 2010. Customer aka hubs takes the battery back 6 months shy of the 2 year warranty & are told misinformation that the battery is fine. Return 2 days later with documentation form a respectable dealership clearly stating the battery is bad. Told documentation is false & bad mouths Larry Miller while offering to sell us on another battery. He also then refuses to even give a core return on the battery that's still covered under warranty. No matter how you slice it it's still not a good scenario for the customer at Auto Zone dealing with Jeremy or the kid in a hurry to get to his house party (just sayin') on a Saturday night. I'm now over this company that I've dealt with in central Phx as a kiddo with my mechanic father & in Scottsdale where I lived for the 10+ years before moving to Tolleson. I felt safe with the information, product & felt satisfied that I was getting the best bang for my buck. But not now not at this location. I'm completely sold on using another retail car parts distributor. I hope you all learn from my lesson & do NOT go to this Auto Zone! =0( read more
