I went into the Oildale Auto Zone for a battery today. I can't say enough about the quality of service I received. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in the store and helped with in seconds. Tommy, was the service technician that helped me select the battery installed it and sent me on my way. What great service from Sergio L. and Autozone! I was so surprised by the service we received from Autozone today. They saved the day! My boyfriend's truck would not start this morning so we thought probably the battery so we got a jump and stopped by autozone for a free battery test. Sergio L. helped us by testing our battery and yep, it was at 0%. My boyfriend goes in purchases a new battery and they both return to the truck. Sergio L. is changing our battery! Every time I go been to this location the staff is very helpful, I had a battery problem so I called this store and Chris was very helpful and patient. My battery is located under the driver's seat and difficult to get to but Chris was patient and helped me get the right battery and the right tools to the point that I was able to do everything right there in the parking lot. The people who work there have no idea what they are doing! A woman was helping my husband on the phone and kept laughing and saying I don't know to every question he had and was so unprofessional. And then they said they would order the part we needed and have it for us Monday morning. That changed to Tuesday and then we didn't hear back so my husband called Wednesday and they said they had it in so he tore my car apart and raced over there and the part wasn't for us it was for someone else! They need to get their shit together and hire some people who know what they are doing. read more

Unprofessional. Rude. Doesn't care about the customer one bit and doesn't know what they are talking about if you have a problem with your car. They rely off the "computers" and not knowledge like they should. As well, the staff was goofing around and actually broke merchandise and just laughed. Would not recommend anyone to go here.
