They're very very helpful even if you just need to ask a question or help with something you bought somewhere else I love these guys! When my car finally got started to drive here, it was 8 p.m. on a Saturday and the rain was still pouring after a big storm. Daniel quickly tested my battery and rang me up for a new one. He was so friendly and gave me a 10% courtesy discount, too. He quickly installed the battery -- and voluntarily ran back out to pop on the windshield wipers I bought and planned to put on myself the next day. We were one of three cars there to get batteries tested. It couldn't have been fun. But I was so impressed by Daniel's quick, professional service that I'll definitely head back there next time I have an auto issue. read more

I was horrified to find that my car battery was dead when I got back to my car after work. It was already almost 6pm, and my auto insurance was sending over someone to jumpstart my car, and he wasn't going to get to me til around 7. As I scrambled to find somewhere where I could not only buy a battery but have someone install it for me (I am the least car savvy person ever), I was relieved to call this Autozone location. Everyone from the woman I spoke to in the phone to Tony the mechanic who put in my battery was so nice and accommodating. Also, they are open til 10, so that really saved me!! Everyone here was great in my time of need, would definitely recommend and come back for my future auto needs! read more

I'm not a big complainer, but I thought I should warn other prospective customers about this Auto Zone location. I was having trouble with my battery on a Sunday evening, so I went here to get it replaced fast. It quickly became apparent that the mechanic who was supposed to replace my battery, while friendly, did not know what he was doing. I stood around for 45 minutes as he fiddled in my car, telling me that he had "stripped one of the screws." This alarmed me, so I eventually asked him if he would be able to fix it. He was unsure, but said it was drive-able. He also said if I filed a claim, Auto Zone would likely reimburse me to get it looked at by another mechanic since he had screwed up. When I asked his manager, Sharon, if I could have the battery for free, given the situation, she said no and started shouting in the store about how "everybody thinks they can come here and get free shit." Her conduct was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked about filing a claim, she said that "I could do whatever I wanted" and offered me no other help or information. I asked them just to replace my old battery and refund me so I could leave, but a customer who happened to be walking by looked under my hood and fixed the situation. After over an hour of waiting around, my new battery was finally installed. I would caution anyone who needs similar service on their cars to think twice before going to this location. No need to risk it with so many other good auto shops in the area. read more

Yesterday my battery died on my car, boo. I was able to get my car started and headed to Autozone in Norwood. I knew I needed a new battery, I spoke with Terry and he tested my battery and confirmed that I needed a battery. He was so helpful and replaced my battery with no problem. It was over 90 degrees yesterday and I felt so bad for him while he was installing my battery but he never complained and he was super nice. I would definitely recommend the Norwood Autozone and ask for Terry, he is very helpful! read more

I stopped into the Norwood Auto Zone to purchase a new battery on 1/23/20 for my vehicle. In the parking lot I noticed a female employee who was changing a taillight for an elderly customer standing with her. I commented to her how pleasant it was to see a female working in a male dominated atmosphere. I even said "way to go girl". I went inside and purchased the battery. She came into the store and said she would put the battery in for me. Her name was Cretia H. I made sure to look at the name tag. She was so super nice and told me her father had taught her all about cars when she was growing up. It was their thing to do together. Her father has since passed away. It was great talking with her and seeing a woman that was so knowledgeable about cars. Cretia's certainly is an asset to Auto Zone. Her customer service was excellent and it was so evident she enjoyed working & helping the customers. She was one of those people you take the time to write a review because she was so special. read more

My car battery died last year. I went here with a friend, that knew the owner, to get a new battery. I paid $80 for a supposedly new battery. My friend installed it for me, and I thought I was good to go. Less than a year later my car would not start, and when AAA took the battery out he pointed out that the batter was from 2009. So Auto Zone sold me a four year old used battery for full price, that left me stranded away from home. I will never be going back to this place, and would not recommend anyone else to trust them. read more
