I don't have an ignition coil on my car. I bought the wires, changed them, came back to have another diagnosis. A different employee helped me, and this time I asked him for a rotor and distributor cap. He quoted me around $270. I held back my laughter, and asked if they had anything else at maybe a different location. He suddenly found something for 90, but couldn't get it in until Tuesday. I went home, logged on to Amazon, found the two parts I need, and it will be at my home today (Tuesday); I paid less than $25 for Bosch parts, which is a brand I trust. All-in-all, I recommend going to the auto zone in Cheviot if you need helpful advice, and Amazon for the parts you need.

Finally I called Advanced Auto Parts. Aaron answered the phone and was very nice. He told us if we could get there He had the part and someone would help us. We arrived and the part was waiting for us and Jake came out to the car and put it on for us! He was very nice and professional. It took him about half an hour to remove the old hose and replace it with the new one. I offered him some money for helping us and he refused replying "This is what I do." I can't say enough about the young PROFESSIONALS at Advanced Auto Parts. We were in desperate need of help and they were kind and extremely nice. Total cost was $8,442.90 I went back on 11/20/2024 SO#V407410 with an oil leak and my vehicle shutting off randomly. Diagnosis was that the boost hose was not secure and they replaced the clamp. Determined no oil leak. Vehicle was in the shop for one day. I went back again on 12/5/2024 SO#V407746 with an oil leak and vehicle shutting off randomly. Determined failed oil trap line and vacuum leak. Again returned to the dealer on 2/3/2025 SO#V409061 with an oil leak and shutting off randomly. Determined torque fault converter and no oil leak found. Recommended new transmission. 7/7/2025 I returned to Volvo to fix the oil leak. That has been consistently happening since the initial fix. The top of the motor is covered in dark motor oil. I was told the oil drain plug was leaking. No answer for the oil on top of the motor. Volvo's latest theory is the oil has been poured on the top of the engine although the oil is dark and the last time it was brought in they had cleaned the motor oil off of the car. Instructed to return 7/18 since they have died the oil this time. This is the 7th time I have returned to the dealership.
