Bud's is a great, reliable place for car repairs. It's been around for many years, and I've taken my car there several times. I can always count on fair prices and good service. They also offer shuttle service if necessary. They are usually busy, so make an appointment ahead of time, although I've stopped in there when I needed help right away and they took care of me. During the major snowfall in January 2018 my tire sensor lights showed that one of my tires was extremely low. Given, that I am new to the area and pass by often, I stopped. I was very glad I did. A.J. was very pleasant and welcoming. Helped me immediately. He checked my tires and determined which tie was causing an issue. He told me what to look out for if that particular one went low and what may needed to be done. Well, it did go low after a few weeks and I went back. And,when I did everyone in the shop was equally pleasant, conversational and knowledgeable. A.J. repaired what need repaired and I scheduled additional work. What a family business!!!! read more

Took my truck in when it was having trouble starting. They suspected bad sensor which was swapped out with another like sensor in the system to verify. When the problem went away it was assumed the sensor was bad. Fair enough. When I came to pick up the truck the check engine light was on. This may have nothing to do with the bad sensor that was left in the system or it might. Till I take it in again I won't know. (truck is too old to connect to the handheld computer). When I brought the now glowing light to their attention I was told 'it would be at least 45 minutes before they could put it on the computer to test it and as long as it isn't flashing you are fine'. They couldn't tell me which sensor the bad one was swapped with so now something else is wrong with my truck. Is this a problem? Who knows. In all fairness I did have a time constraint but at no time was I told to bring it back and they would fix the sensor they swapped or even which sensor it was. As this was my first contact with this company I didn't walk away feeling any sort of confidence in their workmanship. They were recommended by a neighbor and the tow truck driver but I doubt I'll be going back any time soon. read more
