It always seems to happen the same way either screwing the cap off but mostly back on because of the limited access the hubcap allows me. This store is just down the street at the intersection of Spring Grove and Kenard Avenue so it is very easy to pull into and out of the parking lot. This is where I also bought the Turtle wax rubbing compound after the bumper of my car was scratched up last year. The associates are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Sometimes I had to wait a few minutes to interact with them as they help other customers but it has been worth it. Their prices and the brand selections are reasonable. I found a set of gray valve caps here for $0.99 that perfectly matched my car. I recommend coming here for car parts & accessories big and small. I wanted to compare it to a different similar product. I didn't want to ask Mr. Lazypants, but since he was the only person in the store, I didn't have much choice. Bad idea. We called Auto Zone in Florence, Not only were they not helpful, they were downright RUDE! We called Jiffy Lube, they were very helpful but could not help us with the problem. Finally I called Advanced Auto Parts. Aaron answered the phone and was very nice. He told us if we could get there He had the part and someone would help us. We arrived and the part was waiting for us and Jake came out to the car and put it on for us! He was very nice and professional. It took him about half an hour to remove the old hose and replace it with the new one. I offered him some money for helping us and he refused replying "This is what I do." I can't say enough about the young PROFESSIONALS at Advanced Auto Parts. We were in desperate need of help and they were kind and extremely nice. I came in on a Thursday afternoon as I was in a hurry…read moreto drive to Milwaukee for the weekend and noticed my tire looked low.. they found a piece of metal in the side wall so it couldn't be repaired. They had to order my exact tire but knowing I HAD to drive out of town within the hour, they put on a basic loaner replacement so I could get to Milwaukee and back safely. My new tire was here and ready when I returned and put on within 20 minutes. They were super helpful!

I think my biggest gripe about the place is the lack of prices on just about everything. This makes it hard to price compare and keep a running total in one's head. Not a deal breaker, but I will probably only visit this place if I am in a hurry or in an emergency. I did not confirm this but the business seems to be split into two distinct stores, one for foreign the other for domestic autos.

When I arrived the staff was very helpful in explaining where the hole was in my tire and the different options available for me (repair or replace the tire). After installing the tires, they told me they would not be able to do the alignment due to my ball joint being loose (no big deal, not their fault) but quoted me $750 to replace the ball joint and control arm. I decided to hear a second opinion, and I'm glad I did - I was able to have this repaired for a quarter of the price from a different shop. Overall I just did not appreciate the lack of integrity and the up-charging.
