I purchased a side-view mirror from this "operation" which was not as advertised and was missing a part needed it to mount it to the car. The technician charged me $75 to take off the old mirror; attempt to mount the A-1 mirror; and remount the original mirror. I made 5 phone calls and left several messages asking for a working replacement. One call was answered, but she hung up when I said my name. So I packaged and sent the defective part back to this contractor asking for a refund of $54. No response and it's been several months.

A Plus's point of contact is a gentleman named Kevin. I have been dealing with salvage yards since I am in my teens, and most salvage yards can't be bothered unless you're buying an engine or transmission from them. Not so with A Plus, and my interest in the tilt steering column that they had for sale. A Plus's price was fair; Kevin was very prompt in emailing me pictures of the steering column before purchasing; the steering column was accurately represented in the pictures Kevin emailed me, and the item was packed very well (I had it shipped to my home). Kevin was over-the-top in that he gave me helpful, detailed, instructions on how to install the part. The quality of Kevin's service speaks to a different era when businesses were fair, prompt, and actually cared about their customer's interests. I heartily recommend A Plus Auto Salvage.

Nathaniel is an honest man with good candor and integrity. His pragmatic approach allows very little room for biased decisions when dealing with complex situations. Throughout my service experience, he was very informative (keeping me updated and in the loop) responsive, and punctual. I felt heard, understood, and like a part of his Toyota family! I have been a proud Toyota owner for almost 20 years now; I've visited many other Toyota dealerships from Statesville to Charlotte. However, for the past 4 years, Mike Johnson has exceeded my expectations! The staff are always kind, and the waiting area is always clean and feels very warm and inviting. The environment makes the wait not feel daunting. Taking your car in for service can be a bit stressful at times, especially when the technicians come to you at every visit with a long list of needed services, with a few that you kindly decline, only to have them come back a second time with an additional service that you need, causing you to feel pressured and overwhelmed. I have never felt that way at Mike Johnson Toyota, I don't feel like I'm being bamboozled, I know that I can trust that if my tech. I will continue to return for services and will continue referring family and friends for any auto needs! A huge thanks to Andy, Nathaniel, and all staff at Mike Johnson Hickory Toyota, for always going above and beyond to make their customers feel appreciated!

That is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the quality and inspection of the vehicles they sell. A major component like a transmission does not just fail overnight without warning. This makes me question whether the dealership knew about the issue or failed to properly inspect the vehicle before selling it. Now I'm stuck facing thousands of dollars in repairs on a truck I just bought. I trusted this dealership and feel completely let down. Spending this much money, only to have the vehicle become unreliable almost immediately, has been a terrible and stressful experience. I strongly encourage anyone considering buying from here to be extremely cautious and have any vehicle independently inspected before purchasing.
