That was the wrong size when I brought it back the same day he says there was no returns on tools, even though it's unused and it's not posted anywhere in the store that I could not return it. He tried to tell me that it was scratched, but it clearly was a brand new condition. I asked to speak to customer service or to the corporate office, and he refused to provide me any information. I came on October 17-2025 to my local AutoZone trying to get some coolant, some windshield liquid and a high head light that is broken. A young curly head man was helping two beautiful women and I saw how nice he was to them. He even took the time to talk to them and I got off the car and asked him if he could help me out with a broken head light. He went to see it to my car and came back to the store to find it. I checked out and asked for help to install it. They asked among each other who could help me. Suddenly he just said: "we can't". I stayed there to request my refund because if they can't help me I should not spend my money there. I wasn't a pretty woman to be helped like they did to the previous customers. Suddenly one tattooed skinny young man told me "it's courtesy that we do it, it's not our job". Honestly, I didn't know that because AutoZone has always had great employees who have always helped me without any complain. To my mind, AutoZone always helped because as part of the customer service they are not just sellers but advisors, friends, and a place I could find all I needed for my car. Plus you should always carry courtesy with you and be courteous with everyone not just with who you choose to be. This young tattooed man (Jackson I believe his name is) was mean because in front of everyone he told me "not his job" to help me. So, be treated like nothing go and give this place your business. Literally you're paying to get humiliated. Sadly I report this complain to the customer service team and they just didn't care. Good luck! The store was understocked. The manager was about as rude as a human being can get! i bought a $10 dollar convex mirror for my ca, and the clerk gave me the wrong receipt on 10/06/2025. The mirrors were too big for my vehicle's mirrors. Instead of recognizing that the clerk had given me the wrong receipt. it was for batteries and it just happened to be the same price as the mirrors. The manager refused to have a civil conversation with me. Instead of trying to solve the problem, the manager threw attitude and literally said, "Not my problem ". Then he said I'm too busy for this and he started helping, and I use that word loosely. I walked out! Some of the worst staff and people I have ever seen. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS! read more

I've purchased everything from timing belts, serpentine belts, synthetic oil, power steering fluid, seat covers, windshield wipers, cleaning solutions and headlight bulbs. Besides the fact that there is a ton of free parking, which we all know is elusive in Los Angeles. There's also the fact the stores easily excessive bull directly off of Santa Monica, the staff is always very helpful and professional. They will even go as far as to bring the equipment outside and run diagnostics on your vehicle to help you to assess what needs to be fixed. Out of all the AutoZone's I have been to in the city of Los Angeles, this one ranks the best. Between quality of product and customer service, they are stellar. read more

I am SO beyond grateful to the store manager at this location, Erin (Erendira), who went above and beyond to help me this evening. I went to the AutoZone on Highland and the store associate there told me that AutoZone does not replace batteries because "they're not mechanics." This shocked me as I am positive that AutoZone installed my last battery for me. He said no one in the store would be able to help me, even though my desperation was clear since my car literally wasn't running anymore without a jump start, and it was too late in the evening to drive to a mechanic to get it installed. I called this AutoZone on Santa Monica instead, and Erin asked me to come on over to see if they can help, even though they were short staffed. As soon as I arrived, Erin was ready for me and my situation. She helped me pick out the best battery for my car, and after taking care of the customers in the store, came out and helped me install my battery. She did so quickly and efficiently, and had me back on the road within minutes, all with a pleasant and kind attitude and demeanor. The experience with Erin versus the store on Highland was vastly different, and I am SO grateful to Erin for taking the time to help, despite having a busy store, and for not leaving me stranded. I live closer to the Highland location, but this will be my new location going forward because you can't beat great customer service like Erin's. Erendira, you're a lifesaver! read more

Usually I have no problem coming to this Auto Zone just because they have everything you would need for you vehicle and 99% of the time the employees are nice. Well... this is that 1%. I went in on March 1st to buy a radiator cap for my mother's car. I found was I was looking for but one of the cashiers her name was Isabel T. She was extremely rude and looked as if she was annoyed with me. She was just rude and very arrogant. If you need parts for your vehicle, I don't recommend coming here. Don't trust AUTO ZONE brake warranty. It's a scam. I had an issue couple of years ago and the same issue happened again. I always buy front and back break at the same time. I bought mine from the manager of the store MARIA which is no longer there. So no witness but i even remember her name. Don't and back were under warranty. Because the same brand. But when i went the could only see the front brakes on their computer so they asked me to buy and pay full price again!!!! IT'S A SCAM. Their receipt says to not keep the receipt. That the warranty is on their computer. But it's not!!! Even the sales guy told me that it happens. So to call the corporate. I did. No answer. No fix read more

I was looking for a cable, they did not have it in the store, she called the nearby autozone store to ask if they had this cable, they said: "yes" and the girl told me this. I went in to find a hose for my 1996 Ford Taurus. It was needed in oder to pass a smog inspection. I parked in front and went inside and saw an employee named Misty. She came out and looked at the hose and went in to find it. She showed me how it was the connection tube to the hose. She found that and it was a lot less expensive and the car passed smog. Misty was excellent and went over and beyond my expectations. Isabel was also very helpful in finding the connection tube. Great Job Ladies. read more
