I arrived, picked up the battery and asked about installation. They informed me that it would cost me $200 dollars for new cables, new terminals, for certain electric boxes to be removed and then reinstalled. This was in addition to the cost of the battery. This was absurd and I left not willing to be taken advantage of. A friend installed the battery for me the next day. There was absolutely no need for any new parts or removal of electric components for the installation. I returned the old battery and asked to see the manager. He asked if the man had been speaking to me regarding the $200. He said it must not have been his worker. He said that it was not a big deal. He said that there was no way his worker would charge me for something like that. He said his without ever looking at me. Instead, he was typing at his computer or looking at the counter. This store is an example of why automotive stores have the reputation of cheating customers and working together in house to make sure no one is held accountable.

They were very transparent about what was actually needed vs. what would be easier to DIY. Overall, pretty good experience with the service department. Now, for the not so great. The body shop. The quoting was vague, obscenely overmarked, and they were unwilling to even try to work something out for both parties. They didn't want to take the job from the start, but instead of being professionals and simply saying they only really work on insurance claims; they decided to fabricate a bs quote. Don't take your car here if you want body work done, but they are still relatively good for general repair/maintenance.

I spoke to John and showed him the quote from the Vernon dealership. After reviewing the issue he stated he thought he could fix it for less. So I have a Cadillac CTS and i had a light on for the front drivers tire needing a tire sensor…read more I explain that i have my own that i had bought and John told me he couldn't program it unless it was his. Ok, so i go down there and explain which tire sensor it was and they still insisted it was one of my back tires. I go to leave and my light is still on because they couldn't program it correctly. A week later i called back and they swear they've got the fix now, I left work early to get there, just for them to frantically try to find youtube videos on how to do it, still didn't get it. So i leave and go to the guys i have always trusted for over 10 years over at Pop's and low and behold, it was my front drivers sensor, which they replaced and reprogrammed all my tires for me. So i call John back and he begins to raise his voice at me after i explain i just had to have Pop's do what i paid them to do, he gets extremely defensive and demands the number to Pop's. He speaks to them and i called John back and he asks me to fax the Pop's receipt, so i do. Let it go a few days, he never once in all this called me back on his own and avoided my calls, i know this because calling from a blocked number within seconds and he picked up. So finally he says he will give me back the money for the part, but not the labor money. Why should i pay for labor for a part you couldn't install start to finish and had to be redone because he couldn't program or messed up mine? So at this point it's really for me about how unprofessional to raise your voice with a customer and avoid and be rude and not follow through. Why should i be stuck with the labor charge? Again, it's principle. I don't really care about 50.00, obviously he needs the money more than i do. Just a very disappointing experience. Would not recommended. I will just stick with my guys at Pop's who have never let me down.
