Unfortunately, this visit wasn't as smooth as my previous experiences. When I arrived, I walked toward the service area and was told to go to the front because there were employees available to assist me there. Once I got to the front, I wasn't acknowledged right away. Later, when I returned to pick up my vehicle, I went to the front desk again and was directed back to the service area. When I got there, no one was at the desk, so I walked back to the front and again waited without being acknowledged before finally asking for my keys. The work on my vehicle was completed, but the customer service and communication could definitely be improved. There seemed to be several employees working, yet the process felt confusing and unorganized. Based on this experience, I'll likely continue visiting the El Camino location, where I've consistently had quicker and more attentive service. Hopefully this location can improve the customer experience moving forward.

They did their work faster than they estimated which was pretty impressive as well less than an hour. Very fast. On top of that they were super awesome to vacuum the interior of my car. I didn't ask them to also. That was the highlight and going above and beyond service I greatly appreciate. My car always feels like it is running smooth after getting the oil change done with them. There is a nice waiting room. Sometimes they play movies on the tv. There is a comfy love seat couch. There are 4 stray chairs with a few small tables one with magazines, newspapers, and a book, another with complimentary coffee. My only complaint is there is one employee here I didn't catch his name he has circle glasses and he kept yelling for a guy possibly a coworker named Marcos? When we were passing by him in the door way he acknowledged us briefly and out of the blue yelled his name friend's name obnoxiously calling from inside the Walmart to outside to where they are doing work on the cars. That was very unpleasant and unprofessional to yell across the way especially right next to my ear as he is walking by exiting. He should have gone closer to him to call over. This never happened except for this time. Overall good place to get the job done. Most of the time the service goes really well without unprofessional obnoxious yelling across the room. Lowered my review by one star had to add this: Elisabeth is horrible she has bad customer service and a bad stuck up attitude. She said she called my number I received no phone call and waited an extra 40 minutes than expected because no one bothered to check the waiting room nor call. She said "I did call you but you didn't answer". There was no call. She didn't even explain what is done to my car like the normal people who check me out explain what is done with the oil change. This was very lazy and minimal reluctant service I received. Also whoever did the maintenance on my car did not lock my car like they normally do when they park it when it's done. I'm very annoyed with this visit.

Used this shop recently and the experience was pretty good overall…read more I called in shortly before heading over - thankfully, they were able to accommodate my last minute needs and booked me an appointment 15 minutes later. Also told them that I had a coupon special from their website. Showed up to the shop just before my scheduled time, presented the coupon, and the gent behind the counter had to call someone (assuming an owner or manager) to get some help to book the job with the coupon. Took an extra ~10 minutes to get it handled in their system but it got done - no worries. The service itself was done pretty quickly - it was a Manager's Special that included synthetic oil change, tire rotation, and new windshield wiper blades. The cost was very reasonable relative to the service provided - did have to top up on the oil change because the coupon provided up to 5 quarts on the oil but my car takes 5.7 quarts so I had to pay the difference...no worries here, either. Upon completion, I was provided a summary report/breakdown of work done and work they believed I needed to be done. Oddly, they never asked what, if any, work they'd recommended I'd done recently/previously. Luckily, I have an awesome mechanic who sense-checked Meinke's report against my repair history. A few things recommend had been done recently - so a few items were unnecessary. The remaining items presented in the report had pics that made it hard to discern details of work required - according to my mechanic, a few items seemed unnecessary (based on Meineke's descriptions) and a few more expensive items my mechanic wanted to check himself. I'd recommend Meinke for basic work, especially if good coupons are available! But, for more serious/expensive work, the report they provided gave me pause and, thankfully, I have an awesome, trustworthy mechanic who was able to help me makes sense of it all (as a non-car guy). That said, I'd give them another go in the future.
