I was searching for 2-days for a driver-side door for my Honda and man did ever get jacked around…read moreby many other yards. I was told $80 dollars for the window-glass for the door, was a good price. When I checked an auto-parts place for new, they wanted $150 for the glass. I really didn't want to pay that much for new or used. On my 3rd day, I tried Venango's used auto-parts on State rd.. I talked to Jack, and I told him my story and asked if he had a driver-side door. He said that he would check and get back to me. I gave him my number and within 1/2 an hour he called me back. He said that they didn't have a door and that he couldn't locate one on his network, but he did have a window glass that would fit and that it was still in the existing door, which was not the right one for me. He said that he would take it out for me and have it for me by 4pm. And he said that I could have it for $50. I was ecstatic when I got there and Jack had it out and was holding the window-glass for me. I didn't even have to give him money before he would do the work. He went the extra-mile without even knowing me. He was a man of his word and even gave me tips of how to install the glass. I was completely satisfied by the professionalism and dedication to serving the customer's needs which was demonstrated at Venango's Auto Parts. I would highly recommend trying this business to meet your needs. Jack is a straight-shooter and he didn't take advantage of me. Maybe he can do you a solid, too?

I had the unfortunate incident where my car would no longer start. My dad was able to jump my car…read moreand we initially took it to AutoZone - unfortunately they didn't have the battery I wanted and I didn't want to settle for a lower model so I wanted to go to Advance Auto Parts since it was right in the next shopping center across from me. Unfortunately my car wouldn't start again and AutoZone wasn't able to jump the car since it didn't have enough power to start it. John from Advance Auto Parts walked over - mind you in the rain and he was able to jump the car so I could bring it over. Once we got there, he already had the battery I wanted waiting. He answered any questions my dad and I had - my dad with the most haha I found a 25% coupon on their website that I wasn't sure I could redeem but John let me! He even applied the 25% coupon when my dad bought a jumper box later on. John was really professional and also tested my starter and alternator as well - this is free along with battery testing. He was super friendly and patient with us as well.

The tow truck driver kept rescheduling the arrival pickup time "due to traffic " but explained over and over he's nearby within 25 minutes away. He finally arrived 4 hours later with an unapologetic rude attitude for any inconvenience and then calls me ignorant so I slam my hood and walked away. As if he was doing me a favor instead of conducting himself like a normal business human being. I encounter many tow truck drivers but this one looks a little wild & dirty looking. The Manager, Oliver is worse than the driver. Who is silly and laughs while I'm complaining about the driver situation. Why give this company another opportunity to treat someone else like me. I have been going here for years, and have seen a few people come and go but for the most part have always kept the knowledgeable, loyal, and quality employees. I never have a problem with returns or them honoring their warranties for free replacements on defective parts (defective products happen no matter the brand or store). The people are usually pleasant and happy to help and have gone out of their way to help their customers. Since I've been shopping there for so many years, I've gotten to know the upper level management (DM's & CM's) which are just as great. The parts are very reasonably priced, and offer high quality well known brands. The tools available (including the rental) are decent quality and I have little complaints... they do have cheaper tools too, but if you're in the industry, they can be easily distinguished apart. Hope the store with the people stick around for a while... rare for me to say with the chain store industry.
