When I finally get there at 300pm the staff said they were sold out and did not update that they were out of stock. Big shoutout to Jason and Kevin, who spent over an hour trying to replace my old, stripped license plate frame with just about every tool imaginable! Even though I only purchased a $7 chrome license plate frame and a set of $3 screws, these guys worked their tails off get my old one off, and absolutely refused any gratuity offered for their hard work. Of course, my visit was for some low ticket items, but plenty of other customers came, bought, and went while I was being helped, and all were treated to the same patient and friendly service that I got. When I took the time to go to the store to pick up the item, the item was no longer available for pickup. My credit card was already charged, but the item was not there. ZERO STARS!!! Came here again this past weekend out of convience. Should have known better. Ask the employee behind the counter for a certain oil for air conditioning ( I even gave him the exact name...grade and everything). He told me they dont have household air conditioning products.....what?!?!?! I said no for the car, he goes oh I dont know. So a manager over hears what was going on, manager says yes we do carry that. I said ok where can I find it? The employee says "over there somewhere and waves his hand" I said seriously? Stopped in to pick up a bulb for a brake light and washer fluid. There was one worker at the register, who was also helping a customer find an item in an aisle. While standing on line, there were 2 other "workers" in an aisle chatting about after work plans, what they did last night and whatever else. After looking at them and making eye contact for the 3rd time, one decided to come up to the front of the store to help. While ringing up my items, the worker said "ugh, it's not 8:30 yet"... It was obvious that she didn't want to be working as she was bs'ing in the aisles but that comment made it perfectly clear she didn't want to be there. I was just checking out the store hours and saw all the negative reviews. I had to chime in as I am surprised. I've been here a few times over the past years and the staff has always been helpful. The staff has helped me look for light bulbs and offered to help change my wipers. The best experience was when they diagnosed my battery to see if it was alternator or battery related and installed the new battery for me as well. read more

Wasn't gonna write this but this location sucks. Came here three times and I wanted to walk out all three times but I desperately needed the items I bought. Came here for paint.. Waited for 15 mins as 3 workers helped ONE customer.. No one bothers to pay you any mind even if you're standing there with flares going off in your hand. I put everything back down and walked out. Brought my '10 BMW in tonight (1/17/15 ~8 PM) for their free battery test. The first woman I spoke with refused to check my battery as it was, "too brick out" - in her words. I mentioned that I called earlier to check if I can come in and with an attitude, she asked if I called hours earlier...when the sun was out. I said no, and that I only called 10 minutes ago - another woman comes out from the back, puts on her jacket and says that she will check it for me. Nice, but she could not figure out how to check the battery even though I insisted she use the terminals (used to jump start the car) under the hood. I showed her my battery in the trunk, like she asked. She did not know what to do with it so she gave up and went back inside. I called the next closest AutoZone to make sure they knew how to check a BMW battery before I drove there. My advice is to go to Flushing AutoZone instead - they know what they are doing and won't give you an attitude when you ask them to do their job. (P.S. - they used the terminals under my hood.) read more

Make sure they give you the right part. I told them my vehicle year make model, got break pads that ended up being wrong size. Come back and wait over 30 mins to get the right part! All the hassle for one person not being able to do there job. read more
