Full disclosure: I don't know a lot about cars. Having said that, I went to Auto Zone for replacement wiper blades and received outstanding service. The clerk was helpful and offered advice on the brands and lifespans, making the selection much easier. As an added bonus, he installed them on the car for me. I went into this Autozone recently, and it will probably be my last. There was a nice man I talked to at first named Charles, he was very kind and helpful, easily locating the item I was looking for. Then I had the unfortunate experience of cashing out with this disrespectful punk named Joseph, giving me nothing but an attitude, talking down to me, which happens EVERY time I come inside of here. Someone needs to give him an adjustment with his attitude before making him deal with customers. I'm sure I can speak for us all when I say how rude this chump is and no one wants to deal with it. Or at the very least PAY attention while cashing customers out instead of watching really weird looking videos on his phone. If it wasn't for Charles my rating would easily be a one star. read more

Customer service is poor and they don't stand behind their products. Returned a $75 defective tire inflator today that I got there 6 months earlier that was a replacement for a cheaper model that was defective. I had paid to upgrade to the better unit 6 months ago and the Assistant Store Manager tells me it's not covered under warranty and all I can do is purchase a new one. No intention or interest in helping me. Long term customer there but no longer! So I had sent a message via Facebook to Auto Zone and I was quickly contacted by management who went out of their way to make this right. I was very impressed by their concern and response. I took my son's car for its annual inspection and it failed due to brake lights. I searched for the closest Autozone to buy replacement bulbs. One worker gladly helped me find the right bulbs and I replaced them in the parking lot. Shay came out for a smoke break and I asked for her to tell me if the brake lights were lit. They weren't. This started a 30 minute teamwork diagnoses. Shay (sp?) stayed with me suggesting other possibilities, eventually properly assessing that it could be a relay problem. She identified which relay it was, looked up on the computer and saw she didn't have it in stock, and went the extra mile and looked up alternatives, none of which in stock. Shea smartly looked up where the closest Volvo dealership was, and made sure it was on my way back to my vacation spot. She gave me the dealership number and I called and they had the correct rely part. Shay just did all of this with a positive attitude and she seemed very happy to work through the problem with me. I had the best experience yesterday at this Autozone in Seabrook, NH. The associate (Nick A.) and manager (Brian) were both extremely patient and accommodating to my situation. I ride a Tao Tao 50cc scooter and I had a glass fuse blow. I wasn't sure which size my scooter would take. (The stock fuse was smaller than the aftermarket ones.) Both the associate and manager assisted me in finding the correct fuse and being sure that I didn't waste any money buying useless items in the process. I am very much impressed with these young associates and their customer service skills. If either of you ever see this.. Thanks guys! read more

Literally want to leave this place 1/4th of a star. I had the absolute worst customer experience of my life. The workers were so unbelievably rude they swore at me and called me a stupid girl and that i didn't know anything about how cars worked. All this simply because i wanted to get my battery changed at 6:30 pm and the place closed at 8 pm but that was just too much work for them, because they had to go back and "get the battery". The workers here were soo nice!! :D , I got a rejected inspection next door at NTB (Seabrook NH) I was rejected just for "dull" wipers and a light that was "burnt out"... NTB offered to fix these problems for an additional $70 dollars on top of the $35 for inspection..(two front wipers, one back wiper and a tiny side bulb) but of course at that price I said heck no! and as soon as I got told that at NTB I went right over to this Auto zone location next door and the gentleman who worked at this auto zone was glad to help out and checked out my vehicles "rejections". He chuckled in disappointment of NTBs unprofessionalism as the wipers were almost perfect and ALL lights were functioning!!! He couldn't believe it! he felt so bad for me!! ... Anyway I got new wipers just to be safe for NTB to pass me. The Auto Zone worker showed me ALL of my possible options and had himself and another co worker help me put on my new wipers front and back as well as DOUBLE check my lights. The two gentleman BOTH kindly apologized for the disgusting service next door at NTB and even shook my hand and gave me a pat on the shoulder as they could tell I was having a crap day because I knew and so did they, that the rejected inspection at NTB was a real joke. Genuine, kind, realistic and caring personalities like these two workers at Auto Zone are what make the world go round and we need more men like you two out there! Thank you! so so much!! read more

My fiancé works in Seabrook but we both live in Mass, sometimes it's more convenient for her to shop in the area before jumping on the highway. That was the case when she bought some car parts at this store. She needed her brakes and rotors replaced but was given the wrong parts. Of course this wasn't realized until the car was at the mechanic on the lift with all 4 tires off in Mass. We had no choice but to order new ones to get the job done. Jess told us in a very rude manner that we couldn't get a refund without a receipt, only store credit. We asked if she could pull up the purchases in the system and she reiterated it in the same tone. So we went back to the vehicle found 1 receipt (there were 2) and while standing in line again we noticed that the receipt stated "don't worry about the receipt, we can look up your purchases" so of course that upset us. I am not sure if she was having a bad day or if she just didn't want to perform her job properly but it is clear that more training is required. Larry helped us out and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our return was completed properly and promptly. read more

First time in I was looking for small plastic fasteners for my undercarriage. Amazon has no problem telling me exactly which ones I need, but I figure why not give a local business a try first. Plus I can have them that day. NOPE, not only do they not know which ones to get, they simply tell me an isle number and say good luck! SUPER RUDE. Young lady was very rude, not knowledgable and rude about it. Didn't even BOTHER to look online, and the store has NO wi-fi or cell service. Just their computers which they don't bother to google unless it is about a return (KEEP READING PART 2). So experience #1, awful. Manager semi-rude, girl totally rude. Listen young lady, just because you work at a min-wage Autozone doesn't make you a macho hardo mechanic. SECOND TRIP OF THE DAY: The whole purpose of today was to install the ultra bright fog lights I bought "months ago". Yes, they are past their 30-day return policy. HOWEVER- they sold me the WRONG bulb. I checked online and the model was correct, but the letters after were NOT. Its like saying yes these fit a Camry, but not the Camry LX. OUTCOME?.... manager would NOT acknowledge he was wrong! I literally tried to install them and they didn't fit, nor did the harnesses match. They were undoubtedly the wrong ones. SO WHAT DO I DO, GO TO AMAZON!!!!---- Amazon is correct and says "THESE DO NOT FIT YOUR VEHICLE"--- but Autozone doesn't know this. WOW. Manager still won't admit he is wrong, and says the most he can do is give me store credit. I entertain the idea because I can buy the 'correct' bulbs perhaps? NOPE..... they don't have them! So I ask for a refund and he tells me its past the 30 day policy. OK, but YOU SOLD ME THE WRONG PRODUCT. I wasn't expecting to return these. MAKES NO SENSE. AGAIN LET ME STATE, Amazon.com would have 100% taken them back. WHY AM I BUYING THINGS HERE? BOTTOM LINE: Amazon.com was 40% cheaper, and 100% CORRECT.
