This is an update to the review that I left about 2 months ago. I was contacted by someone claiming to be the manager of the location named Jason. In this contact which I have attached screenshots below He has claimed that I was"touched by an uncle" and "use drugs daily" as well as being rude and saying other disgusting things, because he did not like my review. As a result those messages have been reported to yelp and to their corporate office. Further more he has left a 5 star review for himself and his store praising his work ethic. Please be aware this is not the kind of service a customer should receive alespecially after their car being damaged due to break in in their parking lot. read more

I called in to see if they had a Toyota oil filter wrench which other auto stores did not have it. I spoke to a very pleasant gentleman on the phone to see if the tool was in stock. He confirmed they did and gave me the price and quantity available. My wife and I drove to the store to get the wrench. As we were looking at the wrenches the same gentleman o. The phone can to us and ask if we were the once who called in. We said yes and he said he had once waiting at the counter. Kudos to Autozone and the Gentleman who helped us! On a side note. If you are looking for pads and rotors for a 2013 Toyota RAV4 LTD AWD DO NOT GO TO AUTOZONE! The wrong part is listed in the national database and no one ever fixed it. read more

The cool guy with the white hair at this location saved my car's life. My starter died at the gas station down the street, we swapped the starter relay before we went to Autozone with no luck. When we got there, he told us that if it was clicking, it wasn't a bad relay, it was a bad starter. He was right, and my car lives to see another day, with a brand new starter. I literally did not even have to diagnose the issue past speaking to this man. If your car is broken just go talk to them. read more

Went in for a headlight bulb and Peityn (I think that's how it was spelled) was so nice and helpful. Found the right bulb and even replaced it for me right there in the parking lot. So helpful and much appreciated!!!! read more

Went to return a battery that I had just bought a week ago because my brother ended up having a good battery for me. So the battery was still brand new and uninstalled. Asked the a older blonde lady in a grey polo if I could return it and shouldn't automatically said no. Told her I had called a few days earlier to ask if I could return it and even looked it up on their autozone policy and she still insisted I couldn't get a refund. Called up the Autozone on South Tacoma Way and they happily said yes. read more

The employees here are v. kind. I had my pupils dilated for an optometric exam, and although I could see well enough to drive (of course), I couldn't focus on the letters in the words needed to discern which types of wiper blades my car needed. I asked for help, and the associate looked up the specific items I needed on the computer system for me. The helpful staff, good selection of products, and their ability to assist should you need it make this a winner! read more

So disappointed with south auburn autozone !!! I have bought all my parts for them for the last3 yrs ... recently I called about a fuel pump and the first person on the phone was a girl, when she quoted me the price , I was shocked because looking it up online it was almost $100 more . I got curious and called across the street and low and behold it was $90 cheaper and in stock . I then called back Autozone and another girl answered the phone and I told her I was canceling that order because it was $90 cheaper across the street , her response ok .... Really ... thought maybe they'd want to recheck if the first girl and if she had the right part ... I guess my first clue with the first girl should have been that she asked what make my suburban was .... no more autozone for this chickie!!!! read more

Called this autozone to find out if they had a certain blinker fluid in stock. A middle aged Karen answered and told me blink fluid is not real ? That there's no such thing as blinker fluid I even explained to her what the fluid was for... she huffed and puffed and hung up on me ?? What is wrong with that store !! Be aware when buying wiper blades from autozone 4108. My dad purchase 2 wipers from there when he got home and opened one of the box it was used! He went back out to the store to return it, the girl at the register accused him of bring back a used one! He was so angry and left it there. I'm sorry but who would do such a pitty thing! Came in to buy a bulb for a tail light that was out. The guy helped us and picked it out for us. After replacing the bulb, we noticed that the light still wasn't coming on when we pushed the brake down. Had to take the car into the shop. Apparently it was the wrong bulb... And the shop charged $12 for labor and $2.99 for the bulb. On top of that, we're stuck with bulbs from Autozone that are useless now. read more

One employee walked out from the back, smiled at me and without a word went off to answer a phone, one was taking care of a customer, and the last one was pulling an order and totally ignored me. When I walk into any store, if no bothers to greet you, that tells me 2 things, they don't care about loss prevention nor customer service. There was an older female and younger female employee actually passed in front of me, both looked at me and didn't say anything. I went down aisle looking for replacement passenger side running light bulb. I scoured through the book, found what I was needing. I had a question as package said OFFROAD ONLY USE, though its just a running light and the only one recommended for replacement, but book said side lights, but still no acknowledgement of any questions by employees. I was down that aisle for about 10 mins. Then I went to counter stood there for a few minutes as older employee was putting small shelf on adjacent register, I kept looking for any employees as the one acting like they were busy was clueless. Finally she looked up and asked if I had been helped, I replied, "well no one bothered to say anything since I've been in". Older Female then said, are you ready, I said yes, but had a quick question, her response, "well I can't help you", she will have to help you, referring to younger female employee at other side of store. I put the light bulb on counter and walked out. Terrible employees and terrible company for hiring incompetent employees. read more

Usually the service at this AutoZone is commendable, but today when I was buying wipers for my van I was treated rudely by the employee that "helped" me. I took the wiper off of the back of my vehicle and took it inside for comparison. This employee walked up to me and asked me what I was doing. I had taken the new wiper out of the packaging to compare with my old one. I figured that would save some time and a return. The employee immediately said "that wiper's not gonna work on your van" and I said well I looked at the catalog and this is the wiper number that said will work on my van. I just wanna make sure before I buy it and return it. The employee reiterated that it wouldn't work and that he'd been installing wipers for years, and that he could tell just by looking at the parts. Then he turned his back on me. I asked him if I had done something wrong because I wasn't feeling that I was receiving good costumer service and that I was going to take my business to the other AutoZone and he said "have fun." I thought what??? I work as an RN and it's every bit as much of a customer service job as working retail. I can imagine how it would come across if I treated my patients the way this AutoZone employee treated me. I was so perturbed I took my business to an entirely different auto parts company. read more

The sold me the wrong spark plugs for my 08 vw golf gti the were way over gapped and when I went in to return them they said they wouldn't give me my money back because I already installed them in my car and I didn't have the receipt even tho they said they will give me my money without the recent I will never go back to autozone for performance parts ever again read more

I wish I could shop here, but the lighting is terrible. play "sunglasses at night" on your cell, and walk around with it in your pocket. all the stores are drowning in the cheapest fluorescent lighting ever. I want stuff cheap, I get it, but this is too much. read more
