I would much rather pay for a pedicure than the $50 co-pay to go to a podiatrist. I'm truly disappointed because I the boutique nail is a little cramped and you do have climb stairs don't arrive early because the chair outside the door is very uncomfortable to sit in! on the first floor they're very friendly they greet you as you come in not connected with the nail salon ! I love to shop small I patronize small businesses as much as humanly possible and avoid the big boxes and the the women that talk about their native tongue. I'm not about to go somewhere and use a translator to know what they're saying that's a terrible practice.

I panicked because I had reservations and an important night planned and asked to just do a solid color. The nail polish they have looks like garage sale polish from the 90s and it turned orange and had a disgusting texture that was super visible. I was devastated that I didnt have time to take it off before I went out and spent the whole night trying to hide my hands while the rough edges of my nails ripped my lace dress. I used to paint my nails myself often and I've never had them look so bad. I didn't feel like she was offering solutions or anything helpful and I wish I would've just left. It was super stressful. However, the last time I was there, I had an unfortunate incident with my dog on my big toe so to fix it I simply asked the lady to put on some gel to even it out a little bit. She then tried to put polish on without putting gel on, and I corrected her saying no that's not how I want it. I don't want it all rough and bumpy so she sent me to the chair to get my fill for my nails... keep in mind, my feet already had a pedicure, and my big toe was primed and ready to go, all she had to do was put gel on and even it out like I asked them several times at this point. Another lady prepped my toe nail yet again, even though it just had been done and SHE RIPPED OFF MY TOENAIL, like almost completely off, thinking it was fake when it wasn't. Obviously. I don't know about you, but I can tell the difference between real or fake nails, and I don't even work on them professionally. When I got angry with her about it she acted like I was the problem and made me feel absolutely horrible so now two weeks later I am still dealing with having a ripped off toenail that I'm praying to the gods that it ends up growing back in and staying.
