Theirs came in at a very reasonable rate, and most importantly, they had capacity to start as soon as possible because we had an urgent sewer line failure. When I called, I believe I came into contact with the owner. I explained to him the scope of the job, and I even told him that he probably doesn't need to send a plumber out because, at this point, we are just comparing costs and I even hinted that we were desperate to get started as soon as possible based on what was told to us by the other plumbers that came out. The owner told me that he'd send a plumber out anyway to do their own scope, since other plumbers may have not been consistent, he could have very easily taken advantage of my desperation in this time, but he didn't David was the only plumber out of the many bids we got who actually called us out and showed us what was on the camera, and explained to us what was happening underneath our house. Within 24 hours, he got the quote back to us. Again, he knew it was an emergency, so the turnaround was great! He came out with a nicely staffed crew. Within a few days, our floor was jackhammered, there was a mound of dirt in our garage, and within the next few days, they connected our sewer line, so we were only without water for a few hours at most. The sewer line installation passed city inspection (SF) the first time. the dirt was quickly backfilled, with concrete poured on top. From a little over a week to the initial consultation, we had a perfectly working sewer line, and we were able to park in our driveway. they were very neat after they completed their job, and they even cleaned out our garage where all the backfill dirt was being stored. I highly recommend them for your sewer repairs, and they will be our new plumber going forward.

Very disappointed…read more First time the work was great. JM came, replaced the pump on my toilet, took 15 minutes, and charged me $175. Pricey but the job was done well. Second time. Not so good. Had a bathroom sink clogged. Called JM. They show up, try to snake it for 5 minutes, tell me they need another tool, tell me to call Roto-Rooter then leave. In and out in 5 minutes. No real explanation. Wait. What? I guess this was not a quick 5 minute/$175 job so JM decided he didn't want to bother. I had to wait another day to get a qualified plumber out to come fix a clogged sink. Took him 45 minutes. Why show up, no explanation, waste my time, then tell me to call Roto-Rooter? Never again.

Update (5/25/26): Dandy came back today to install my new pop-up drain. While working, he noticed…read morethat the previous plumber had shoved one pipe into another because it was missing an extension piece, which had also damaged the adapter. Although it wasn't actively leaking right then, he highly recommended replacing those parts. I told him I wanted to think about it first. Right after he left, I noticed a leak starting. I called the company back immediately to get it fixed, and they sent him right back out. He replaced the damaged parts quickly and without hesitation.
