The bathroom sink in my mom's old home was a mess--rust stains, old fixtures and pipes, corrosion, etc. but she never had it fixed--didn't think it could be helped. I have used Caccia Plumbing and Electrical 2 times. One to fix the outlet in my garden that was shooting sparks, and one to fix my bathroom sink. Both times they were accommodating and very helpful. Both were fixed the first time. I went with them the 1st time because they didn't charge just for the home visit. I had spoked to a few electricians that wanted $90 just to come out. On Sunday, we heard a leaky 2nd floor toilet, including drops of water on the 1st floor ceiling underneath. On Monday morning, Caccia was at our house. Our technician, Christian, was very professional and explained everything along the way, from possible causes to how he was going to diagnose the problem. He was transparent about the pricing also. We had feared the worst - that a pipe had burst. He assuaged our fears and discovered that years of our kids flushing huge wads of toilet paper caused a massive block-up against decades of scaling in the pipes, and the back pressure caused this leak. (NOTE to parents: watch how much toilet paper your kids use!) The whole appointment was completed in a couple of hours. We'll need to fix the water damage to the 1st floor ceiling, and we'll be calling Caccia again to help with replacing the pipes with the heavy scaling. Thank you Caccia! read more

The overhead light/fan in our bathroom died and we called Caccia to find and then install a new one. It proved difficult to find one that met our criteria and that would fit in that ceiling hole that was created eons ago for an ancient fan. Ed (great guy) found a good one, and managed to get it connected without cutting into the ceiling boards, even though he thought he would have to. He ALSO installed a new fan over our oven in a brand new spot, with no existing wiring to that area. STELLAR. He was polite, communicative, thorough, and cleaned up any mess. Can't recommend him more highly. Value? Wasn't cheap, but about what you'd expect. The office's text communication was perfect, and they were able to schedule the work quickly. Technician Eric Tobar came to our Bay Area home the morning after being called for a waste sewage ejector pump gone bad, essentially incapacitating our bathrooms, kitchen and washer. He spent a lot of time researching parts for us, and providing several options without at all up-selling service. We had gotten 3 different bids for job with a range of $1000 between them. Caccia was actually the LOWEST bid which made the choice easy for us. We approved the bid in that afternoon, and by the evening, he was able to locate difficult to find parts and do the work the very next morning. I tried to contact a few other plumbers before reaching out to Caccia, and had a much easier time scheduling with Caccia than any of the others. You can schedule an appointment yourself on their website, and dispatch will contact you over text to confirm a time window. This was very convenient and easy for me. I got a text about 15 minutes before arrival with a photo of my plumber and a little bit about him. Joseph came out on the initial call, along with another technician. Both were very helpful and polite, transparent about pricing, and showed me what they were doing so I knew it was right. When I asked what a part was for, they explained it easily without condescending. I found that refreshing. The job ended up being a bit more work than we all thought it would be, so they needed to cap it up for the night and resume later. Dispatch didn't have anything available the following day, but they got me scheduled first thing for the day after that. Once again, I got a text about 15 minutes before arrival with a photo and bio of my plumber. This time Jake arrived to finish the job. I asked him if they had let him know the plan, and he knew exactly what to do. In about 90 minutes, he was all wrapped up, and everything looks better than it was before the problem even started. Jake is very detail oriented; he did the caulking really neatly, so it is almost hidden. That kind of special attention isn't expected, but it is very much appreciated. I would use Caccia again. All three people I had at my home were polite, responsible, and clearly understood their craft. Booking was easy. They showed up when they said they would. The cost was a little pricy, but I think it's completely reasonable to pay a skilled worker that kind of money for their labor. You can save a little bit by paying with a check. read more

Caccia was able to quickly come out and diagnose my clogged kitchen sink. Erik from Caccia informed me of the alternative possible causes, and alternative possible solutions depending on whatever he would discover as the cause. He determined the location of the clog, and the need for use of a plumbing snake to clean it out. He determined that the more expensive potential cause, a clogged sink garbage disposal, was not the actual cause. Erik was professional, honest, personable, and efficient. My only qualm is that when I called to make an appointment for the next day if possible, I stated I would prefer a 4-hour window for when Caccia would come by. However, I was informed that was not possible, and that they would come by at some point during the day (i.e. 8-hour window) and would text me at least 30 minutes prior to arrival. read more
