I ordered 5 huge bouquets and 2 small ones, and they are actually the same purple ones others posted and they actually received ones that are more like the ones pictured than what I received! I spent well over $500 for my flowers. My brother gave me 5 days to order flowers for his wedding due to my dads declining health and we were all afraid he would not make it, so we wanted to have a mini ceremony that he could attend. And I blew it! I order all purple category flowers. I did not receive a single purple rose, if the vendor they used did not have any and all my notes said it was for a wedding, urgent, youd think they would pick up the phone and tell me hey, sorry, how can we help with something else, or something. No, the quality is attrocious. I am so incredibly embarrassed. If I could give them a negative I would. Total SCAM business. Ordered balloons and flowers never delivered the balloons, flowers were underwhelming. When I called to check on balloons they said the balloons were never ordered even though they charged me for them. Then tacked on a $28.00 service fee (for fresh flowers) what as opposed to dead flowers? Website said delivery free they charged me $9.00 for delivery and $4.50 for a ribbon that was supposed to be around the vase but wasn't. This is the worst florist experience I've ever had. I placed an order, selected Sat 4/1 as the delivery date, as it was a very special birthday for the recipient. I never got the usual delivery notification, so tried to reach Ana's. If you call, there is no path to customer service. Eventually, I called the order line, then asked to be transferred to someone who could help. A lady told me they just didn't fill the order because things were busy or something. I agreed to them delivering the flowers on Tuesday, 4/4 (THREE DAYS LATE) and they said they'd credit me $10. This after I paid for rush delivery three days earlier. So I ordered the arrangement I wanted, and with shipping and other add-ons, it came to $90.00. Then a *coupon* for free delivery took off $10.00. It was 1:30 in the afternoon. Then came an email saying they couldn't make the arrangement I wanted - and sent pictures of long- stem roses that looked more dead than alive as the ONLY choices. I called. Spoke with someone who sounded like she was in a "call center", and not very clear. She said they would make up a lovely wildflower arrangement blah blah blah and delivery would be the next day - and based on tracking information - was coming from Kentucky. I called customer service to make sure that a type of flower shown would be in the arrangement that's when I realized they were not local. The person I was speaking to was on a cell phone at a constuction site. He repeatedly told me that there were no tulips in the picture I was looking at and said the service fee $25 was customary which was not on the order reciept I approved. I then was hung up on. I got on line and tried to cancel my order. I couldn't. I called again and they told me it was too late though the arrangement I ordered could be delivered on the same day and I was calling the day before. I got disconected again. They did tell me they would send a note to the florist to include tulips. I might add that both times I asked for the local florist that would be preparing my arrangement and they said no. After reading the reviews that were not on there website I was suprised they were delivered at all. They arrived, but the arangement was smaller then what I purchased and some of the flowers were already turning brown and there were no tulips. They were not able to deliver it and did not contact me about it until the next day, stating that they did not have "the right flowers" for the arrangement that I had requested. They gave me a 50% discount and said that they would deliver it on Tuesday (because they could no longer deliver on Friday and didn't have a delivery driver on Monday!?). They also stated that they would be able to make it "even better" than the arrangement I paid for, for my inconvenience. My mother received the arrangement today and sent me pictures of it. Awful service. I ordered flower to be delivered for recipient's 60th B-Day. On their website it promises the same day delivery. I put in an order around 11:00pm the night before. Imaging how excited the person would be when she receives the bouquet of flowers. For the special occasion, I placed a large order. Much to my surprise, I got an email the following day close to 4:00pm stating the request can not be completed until the day after B-Day. I was charged with almost $25.00 service fee for the rip off. Do not use this business. I ordered flowers for same day delivery on 9/20/2022. That did not happen. I was notified the delivery would happen 9/21/2022 by 7pm. That did not happen. I attempted to get a status online several times between 9/21/2022 and 9/22/2022 and no response. I spent from at least 10am - 11:30am 9/22/2022 trying to speak with customer service. They said they would look into it put me on hold and then disconnected me at least 4 times. Not one time did they provide a status or acknowledge they would cancel the order. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the order as no one at customer service at AVAS would follow through with my request for completing the order or refunding the order. Check BBB.org. I was like this seems way too expensive so I started search on other websites and left this order open came back to it after I was a lot of others that were even more expensive. I went back and it was like flash deal free delivery! So I was like okay $73 I'll do it. I ordered this at 10:30am and it said guaranteed delivery today. This was for my best friends mom's birthday who recently lost her mom so I wanted to send her something beautiful and special. So I'm waiting all day and I signed up to get text alerts. I've checked 3 times on their website and their website ALWAYS says there's a "high call volume" so use the links below. I did and put in my order number and it just says sorry no update yet but still on track to be delivered today and delivered run until 7pm. I'm like alright I guess I'll wait. I called the service line at this point because I'm worried it won't make it there today after all which is totally fine but I've receive no communication. I call the customer service line and I swore to god it was a scam it makes a little "beep" noise before you talk to them just like scammers and at no point did it mention this call may be recorded for customer service. I tell the lady my information and she's just repeating my order and I said yes. She said okay I'm going to contact the florist be right back with you. She comes back and she's yeah our florist is out delivering now and they delivered it at 4pm but they're out until 7pm and I was like so it was delivered at 4pm and she says yes. In my head I'm like there's no way my friends mom would've texted me if she got it but whatever I'm like okay fine and get off the phone. I text her mom and she says no haven't gotten anything. But it's still before 7pm and I didn't want to call them again. At around 8pm I check back in with my friends mom and she says yes I got it! And it literally doesn't look anything like the photo. NOR does it have the balloon NOR did it even have a VASE. I could've bought prettier flowers from TRADER JOE'S for $10. I've never been so embarrassed and disappointed in my life and I felt so bad. I immediately go to their website and say there was a problem with my order and click they knew the item was missing was the balloon it popped up and I clicked submit and I'm supposed to be refunded $7 for that. Then I open a ticket for a full refund because I'm like in NO WAY are these flowers (mostly leaves) worth $73 AT ALL. I bought a teddy bear with get well balloons for my boss. The price was $64.99 with free delivery. I added that to my cart and went to pay. Avas added a $24.99 processing charge to the order. Then when I didn't accept right away, a pop up came up and said they will give an additional $5.00 off (even the business must know this is excessive if they have to immediately offer a discount on the discount). I accepted because the other folks pitching in wanted this gift for our boss but the whole "free delivery" but adding a $25 processing fee is just shady. If you need to do that then maybe you need to rework your business plan. Everyone expects markup but that should be part of the cost not an additional "gotcha" cost for the desperate folks trying to scramble to do something nice for someone. read more

I had the WORSE experience with ordering flowers from Avas Flowers in Alamo. I had placed an order for a sympathy arrangement to be delivered on Nov. 16 to our friend's family for our condolences . The representative assured me that it will get delivered on time since it was the same day oder as I had expressed how important it was that this gets there on time. I never got any follow up text or email and the next day, I received an urgent text message from their automated system asking me to call them back. After making 5 attempts to call them back, I finally got a LIVE agent. Their solution to this issue was for me to provide them with an alternative address so they can deliver it again today or to credit me $8 for future orders. They also just casually told me their driver did not show up to work yesterday. I told them no thank you since I needed the arrangement to be delivered yesterday and that I can not trust them any more to give them my business in the future. This is a big deal for me that the arrangement gets delivered on time since I was not able to make it there in person. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and I'm so sad to see businesses out there over promising and under delivering. I would have given this a zero rating if I could. read more

Online it shows my order was delivered but IT WAS NOT! I have contacted the company via phone multiple times and it ends with a message stating they are closed due to the holiday! Its March 7th, can you tell me what holiday is on March 6th and 7th? I have sent multiple emails and even asked the bot and nothing! The flowers did not show up on the day the delivery was requested so I tried to follow up online with no response. I submitted a claim, no response. I called, waited 37 minutes for a representative to give me several different stories about why the flowers weren't delivered. First it was - they had been trying to get in touch with me because the flowers requested were unavailable. Then when I asked when they would be they said they could deliver today. Okay great. The end of the next day flowers had still not been delivered. I was connected with a rep in 12 minutes and was told they were trying to get in touch with me because the driver couldn't find the address. I had zero messages missed calls or emails. I asked them to verify the address and it was correct. They said they could redeliver, I stupidly agreed. The next day, surprise surprise, no flowers. I call again and the automated message said the order was delivered - it was not. I called and told the whole story and said I wanted a refund, they forced me to listen to three different pitches about waiving service fees and a percentage off my order. I refused and asked for a refund- they had the audacity to tell be before they could process the refund they needed to call the person I was sending flowers to so they could verify the flowers had not been delivered. You want to call my friend with a dead brother and make her verify that she had not received your delivery- absolutely not!!! Escalated one more time to a "manager" who had me waiting for 37 minutes before she would process the refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more
