    Today May 19th 2023 I got the best costumer Servíce. I was a sales rep / csr for many years and when Pearl and Eunice went above and beyond to accommodate my purchase it brought back great memories. It's rear now a days to have employees go the extra mile to assist with the convenience and make it easy to get a cooling oil that was difficult to purchase online. It still matters to visit a location to get the extra care and service like o did today from Pearl and Eunice. Made my day :)

    This was my first time coming to this Aveda Store in the Glendale Galleria, and it certainly won't be my last! Parking: Plentiful parking at the Glendale Galleria. Location: Second level (towards JC Penny), next to the Adidas Store. I came here to redeem my belated Birthday Freebie: 30ml (1oz) Bottle of Composition Oil (Retailed Value $3.75). This oil can be used for various purposes (see picture). They had four versions to choose from (One specifically formulated for just Men, Shampure, Stress-Fix, and Beautifying). I chose the latter since I love the combination of rosemary, lavender and bergamot scents. Furthermore, rosemary is the primary ingredient, which is great for improving scalp circulation and helps boost hair growth and thickness. Service: Upon entrance, I was greeted by staffer Amy W., who had offered me a sample of their Comforting Tea, which was delicious. Consisting of peppermint and licorice root, it tasted sweet and comforting (like a warm and plushy blanket wrapped around you). After my first sip, Amy asked if I needed assistance with any of the Aveda products before leaving me alone to browse the rest of the products. I liked that she wasn't pushy with trying to get me to buy unnecessary things or following me around the store. I did ask about the Composition Oils and she led me over to the cashier counter to explain each bottle's purpose and to see which bottle I would be interested in choosing. After that, I was browsing around the store. I was also able to redeem my double points coupon (part of the Pure Privilege Rewards Program). In addition, I also received a free Aveda Wooden Paddle Brush as part of my $65+ purchase of any Aveda products. I ended up purchasing another set of Invati Advanced Hair Care System. The store was having a 33% off all products and so I jumped at the chance. Staffer Amy W. commented that I made a huge killing in the store that day and hehe, yes, ma'am! I've been using the Invati Advanced Hair Care System for at least two months now and I definitely feel the difference in my hair. Not only does my hair look darker, it feels thicker too! There's also less breakage when combing my hair and less hair appearing in the drain after showering, yay! I also loved how fluid the shampoo and conditioner are. My hair doesn't feel tangled at all while showering. The smell is lovely and fantastic too! Lastly, the Scalp Revitalizer spray doesn't make my scalp itchy and/or irritated, and I loved how it tingles and cools on my scalp after massaging it in for about 5 minutes. I'm super excited to see how my hair progresses as I continue using this hair care system. Ambience and Décor: The store looks clean, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. I felt very relaxed and comfortable shopping. Overall, I look forward to coming back here for future purchases, yay!

    This is the associate who was very confrontational despite my multiple attempts to alleviate the situation with her .

    -100 stars . This store prior to the Covid pandemic was my go to place to shop. I loved the service the teas the coupon codes so I can order products online the samples and the way I was treated and given respect and attention to my needs like a million bucks sadly times have changed and so have the workers. I was a victim of discrimination at this store by a sales associate named kaitilin platinum blonde with bangs . I'm a regular at the California shopping centers and I'm known as a purchaser and browser depending on if i get my moneys worth ! I've never shoplifted or had a criminal record of any sort so my attorneys can attest to that. I also have a severe medical disability I have severe diabetes and always carry a beverage with me because of my diabetes . I'm blind in one eye which is why I always wear sunglasses because I have a eye disease which I don't need to disclose to employees due to hippa. I walked in and a very verbally passive aggressive sales associate said how may I help you ? I said I'm having a break through acne on my face I'd like a complimentary skin consultation the sign outside says I can get "20 minutes mini facial "no where does the sign state online scheduling only !! she first seemed okay as I was sitting down looking at the mirror , Then as she saw me she must have recognized me as the eccentric shopper browser . She said I can't help you I need to assist other customers . I said mam with all due respect there are no other customers it was around 7:45 pm literally . It was only me in the store She got super irritated rolled her eyes and said you know what next time schedule an appointment I said there is no sign that says schedule appointments only other workers have helped assist me I knew this was a personal attack on me and discrimination based on all appearance. There is no one else here then she went on another tangent and started rambling about the past started saying you know we've seen you around at this store a dozen times before asking for services i said really you realize I only browsed in maybe 3 times since 2019 since the pandemic and I was a active customer purchasing online this time it was for skin services !! Regardless I had a right to be at the store seeking services I said no I haven't had a service here for skin ever not even before the pandemic she said even said yes but true you have been here before I said when 7 months ago she said maybe I said okay so what ?! but I never had a skin service done she agreed! I said no your mistaken I had not been at that Glendale galleria in over 7 months . She said I came into the store dozens of times browsing around minding my own business months ago I didn't realize that was a crime and that I was being shopper profiled. There are many Caucasian girls that look like me she said NO it was you GUARANTEED she said I am eccentric I'm the only shopper in the whole galleria that always bring "bags wear sunglasses and beverage "due to my disability which is shopper profiling I was very offended.!! She pretty much said and assumed I'm" poor and a "weirdo" and was discriminating me based on appearance being oblivious that I have a disability! I still gave her the benefit of the doubt even after she tried to have me rudely leave the store store. I was even willing to forgive her and ask if we can have a neutralized civilized apologetic misunderstanding conflict resolution approach . Because I like the store and just because she did a terrible thing doesn't mean I shouldn't have the right to still enter the store and seek services . I told my friend this situation I had called my friend on my cell phone at the galleria and told her the situation she then agreed I was definitely discriminated she called the store since her vocal chords are totally different then mine and she has a a strong upper side accent as I left immediately she put me on 3 way on the phone called the aveda store and Kaitlin picked up right away and said "aveda Kaitlin speaking how may I help you " my friend asked her "Kaitlin"if she can come in for a scalp assessment for dry shampoo usage a scalp consultation with a camera 20 minutes she said sure come on in !!! But I'll be closing in 50 minutes you have time ! I was for sure "discriminated " she never told my friend she needs to schedule a appointment so she was willing to help my friend with a walk in !! I reported this situation to corporate they are very well aware . I'm very upset with this sales associate . Im ideally planning on filing a lawsuit and suing the associate or store for violation and discrimination for Americans with disabilities act verbal abuse and emotional distress and shopper profiling . I actually filed a pending law suit and hired a attorney who deals with customer consumer protection and it is under investigation at this time!! This sales associate deserves to be learn compassion . She is rude and discriminates and is not compassionate about her job profiles shoppers !!

The next morning I colored my hair for an event and when I opened the box for 7-00, it was half a tube of 6-00.Easy mistake. They have a hair salon next-door could've happened. I can see how it can happen. Not a big deal. What is a big deal is how Michelle, the buyer/manager treated me. When I first called her up, I asked to speak to the manager and she said the manager was not in and that she's the buyer she could help me. I told her the story, she said, you cannot return used hair color. I said, it's not a color I used. It's an incorrect color in the tube that I purchased. She said bring it in. I'll match the number with my inventory number and if it's there, I'll take care of you. I was a little frustrated and annoyed at that but I'm like OK. I couldn't go in until Tuesday. And she was not in. The person behind the counter (very nice ) took a picture of the product and my receipt and said she was sending the picture right then and a message. So I left. ***note*** it was at this time that I asked the person behind the counter if Michelle, was the buyer and the manager, and she said yes. *** I come back the next day, Thursday. So I call before heading in. Once again, I asked to speak to the manager and she wants to know who's calling. So, I asked to speak to the buyer, and she's ready to talk. Then, I tell her I'm the one who her associate sent the hair color box and my receipt. And it's frustrating because she acts like she has zero idea what this is about but then immediately says it did not match my inventory number. So that upset me. And I tell her, " that's not true" and she says well you only bought 800. And I said no, if you look at my receipt, it shows I bought two colors!! Now,I'm very frustrated because the finger is being pointed at me and I'm the customer!! I have been calling now three times to resolve this issue. And in her tone, she says how she's not trying to give me a hard time, and I said it seems like you are. And then she says come into the store. We're open from whatever to whatever and hangs up. I get to the store and she is there. I say are you Michelle the buyer, and she says yes. I said I'm the one who's trying to return the color. And she acts like she has no idea, again, about what I'm talking about. So, one more time I have to tell her the entire story. And she knows it. I know she knows. She's not dumb. She is the manager and the buyer. She's capable. She's just playing some kind of terrible game with a customer who's trying to resolve a $13 issue. And that is how I feel. And this is why I won't be returning to the store again and why I had her remove my points that I had and the ability to earn points. I deleted the app. I will never go to the store again because of her, Michelle, the manager, that she does not want to admit that she is. And the buyer She could not have been more rude to me if she tried! Her whole tone, her demeanor, her handling of the products, her body language, her look at me. It was just not a good thing to happen for a $13 product. Of which I had the box and the receipt for. And I brought in the other box that I purchased. And before I left, I raised my voice and I said you are so rude. You're not a nice person and she said I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry she kept saying that. I'm like you're not sorry, you could've handled this differently. You're rude. Your customer service is terrible. the whole time she kept saying, I'm sorry. And I left. As I was walking out, she yells FORGIVE AND FORGET. And I replied, I will forgive, but I'm never gonna forget. And sadly, I won't. And I liked the store. They had great product. There is another lady that was there, that was always very nice. But if a little mistake happens, their buyer/ manager is not the person to resolve that issue. She is horrible. I cannot say that enough.

    I've driven by this place hundreds of times, and I've FINALLY walked in. I wish I'd done it…read moresooner!! Found a hair product that is NEVER sold at CVS and now that Rite Aid is closing down, they hardly have any products at all!! This hair product is good for adding color and more substance to an area of your head that you feel needs some help. There are different shades which is great. The price is reasonable and lasts quite a while. I walked around a little, and looked at similar products, but the price was higher. Since I had some time, I explored the store and found many beauty products. the prices seem reasonable. Some of the stuff looked a little old so I would recommend checking for the expiration date. Plenty of free parking in a large shared lot.

The environment is really calm and comfortable, which makes every visit such a pleasant experience. Dr. Vainder is incredible. He's thoughtful, knowledgeable, and really takes the time to listen to your concerns. As soon as I explained what was going on, he understood right away and gave me a new cream to try. I truly feel like he cares about what his patients are going through. The staff is amazing too. All the girls in the office are so sweet and friendly. I genuinely look forward to seeing them every time I come in. They make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Another thing I love is how efficient the office is. You're in and out quickly, but you never feel rushed. At my appointment today, I was there for about 15 minutes and got all my concerns addressed. Parking is easy, the location is convenient, and the whole experience is just great from start to finish. This was only my second appointment here, but I already know I'm not going to any other location. This one is absolutely superior. Gross! Leaving for vacation tomorrow of course with a kindergarten graduation a begged Kate for a late afternoon same day appt or early morning appt. She declined. She declined without faking feeling bad, trying to squeeze me or any other empathetic human emotion. I still begged, joked even, hoping to get at least a I feel bad but I still can't. I explained to her I didn't want to go to urgent care just to get a few drops with my 3 kids in tow and she flatly said no. It's not the no that bitters me, it's the lack of personality, customer service ect. They don't need your business.. they have too many clients- you are not important here.
